i found Sleep as an Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.sleep
It is an 14 days Trial Version. Costs 3,99€
and Sleep As Android GearCompanion https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.sleep.addon.generic.samsung

Sleep as Android is a great sleep tracker and they have burgeoning Wear support. I use it with my 360 and it usually works well. But it will drain battery a lot. you can turn off the watch screen to better battery consumption. It should use less the 20%
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.urbandroid.sleep
apk: http://choilieng.com/apk-on-pc/com.urbandroid.sleep.apk
Sleep Better with Runtastic: another good app, you can try after Sleep as Android trial. It's kinda nice
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.runtastic.android.sleepbetter.lite
apk: http://choilieng.com/apk-on-pc/com.runtastic.android.sleepbetter.lite.apk
Have fun!
I paid for the full version of the app when it was going cheap a few months back and now ive got myself a SW3 but im struggling to get it working or see the point of the app using the watch as the tracker.
From what i thought (i might be totally wrong) i would tap the app on my watch and go to bed. and then stop it when i got up. It would then resync with the app on my phone once they reconnected (my phone is on airplane mode at night and not in the same room as me). However i find the app on the phone just basically tells me when i started the tracking on the app on my watch and when i turned it off?
Am i missing something?

I'll give it a bash tonight and see how it perfoms, quick test and looks good. See how the battery performs as the last time i ran the tracking on the watch the battery dropped about 50% overnight.
best put it on cinema mode over night to preserve the battery?
I pu cinema mode on because the display is to bright when it goes on. I loose under 15% over night.

cheers will test tonight and post back with battery usage on phone and watch.
hopefully with wear v2 just round the corner we might be able to use the sleep tracking function independently on the watch, then sync once reconnected to phone. save the hassle.
Ok tested last night, put phone (S7 Edge) into airplane mode then turned on bluetooth manually, set the watch to sleep track and then pout the watch into cinema mode with alarm set on watch (not through sleep as android as not matter what settings i changed alarm would go off on the phone). Both devices lost about 10% of charge. Can live with that.
However will need to try and read up on interpreting the results as unsure what its telling me, graph is very confusing or maybe just an overload of info, and it seems to think i had 2 sleep periods with an hour in the middle of the night of none sleep/not tracking which wasnt the case.
Anyway further testing needed.

Hi community,
yesterday I got my new Nexus 7 32gb wifi.
It's an amazing device, but today I recognized a terrible problem with battery life.
My tablet is just laying around today, but the battery is draining really fast.
The system says that "Android OS" causes this, Better Battery Stats says something about "daemonsu".
Is this a kernel related problem?
More information:
ANDROID 4.4.2, rooted, ART is active
Hope you can help me :crying:
daemonsu is from SuperSU. Try reinstalling or updating the binaries. Also, check the SuperSU logs to see if there is an app that is constantly asking for root permission, causing the app to run all the time.
Thanks a lot
Works great, now the battery usage is amazing

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes smart connect stays on after disconnecting the charger and drains the battery quite quickly.
I first noticed it on my old Xperia U when it was running 4.4 and thought it was just due to some of the rom's I'd installed as I never had this problem with gb or ics.
I've had my Z1 compact for a few weeks now. Updated it to 4.4 straight out of the box.
(No other mods made)
Sometimes my battery will drop from 100% in the morning to below 20% before getting home from work.
When I check in battery usage after this happens, Smart Connect would be at the top of the list and would have used a huge percentage of the battery compared to any other app.
Other times the battery life is good and Smart Connect doesn't even appear in battery usage stats.
I've stopped using Smart Connect and disabled it in settings, but I miss having my phone go into silent mode overnight when charging automatically.
Use Tasker instead. It has a lot more possibilities to automatisize your phone. It's not free, though. But either way worth the money. Battery life is in my phone no problem unless you use many locale contexts.

I never noticed that kind of syruation in my z1c. Smart connect works perfect all time. Try factory reset or wipe app cache maybe that helps

If you ever think your battery has gone down too quickly, check and see if smart connect shows up in power management

Hi folks,
I'm new around here and did some research but maybe it is my lack of skill tho I wasn't able to find an appropriate fix yet. To the problem:
-as mentioned in the title my phone (stock not rooted) takes up to 1% battery each minute round about even while writing this text. Background apps currently active are
•Facebook
•my magazin
•tap talk
•gallery
•clock
•google play music
Band is currently LTE all other connection are disabled.
I already fixed the wifi always on issue but that wasn't that much of an advance.
Took a Screenshot of battery information and added as to be seen 36 minutes took 10% battery.
Is this common and I'm to needy if it comes to battery life or is this in fact not usual.
Thanks reading this wall of text.
Ryven
Ps.: seems I can't post the Screenshot sorry

Hi,
In l'app huawei wear, there is a sleep monitoring function. But she does not work. How the trigger?
Today I use Sleep as Android, but I would use the original function of my Huawei.
Thx

Got it to work?
It doesn't work with the Huawei Watch, that part of the app is for their other devices.
I emailed them about it, they replied:
"Thank you for contacting Huawei Customer Care.
Regarding your question, the Huawei Watch does not feature a sleep mode and cannot monitor your sleep.
Have a nice day!
Kind regards,
Agnes
Huawei Customer Care Team"
I thought the last sentence was unnecessary, and slightly sarcastic!

Yeah, I've been using sleep as android since Pebble but the thing is quite ridiculous that Huawei wear couldn't support the sleep monitor on such a great watch.
Does anyone else experience the watch disconnecting during the night and resulting in a flat line reading in sleep as android all night or no reading?

I have that happen about twice a month. The most recent time the alarm went off and I could not shut it off as the watch and phone were disconnected.
Got a H watch 2 which installs a sleep app and is able to show sleep monitoring in huawei health, on IOS app and Android app
My sleep app doesn't work I have enabled it and slept several times but says in the app no data
I'm just wondering does the heart rate need to be set to continuous, or when it realises I'm asleep will it set to continuous itself?

I came from Great S3, no the answer is no. But Galaxy watch doesn't records the sleep properly. I even check with continuous HR setting on. Didn't worked.
Thanks for the reply, I recorded my sleep last night with continuous hr and it worked fine. Just didn't know if it auto set.
Only if you set it to continuous you will get the REM phase recognition. Without it, the sleep tracking is missing this data.

i have also noted it does not tracks REM but who cares?
Yeah, I don't think it is worth the battery hit.
Gesendet von meinem SM-G965F mit Tapatalk
Before latest update didn't record REM etc, after works fine, so that was fixed there too.
whats the point of recording REM? how this improve our lives? i just disabled it - it is useless for me, more important is to measure how long i have slept
I check Garmin forum as Fenix now has REM measurement capability and you know, it does not work either:laugh: to measure REM you must be in certain sleep phase with eye movement, muscle contractions and high brain activity. Not sure if a single sensor can measure that. And you dont have that type of sleep too often

if in sleep settings the REM is enabled then it is continous HRM + body moment, otherwise it is just body movement + HRM the way you choose it (e.g. frequently)
Just wondering If and When the Unlocked Note 9 512 GB and Unlocked Galaxy Watch will be getting the Update in order to Track and Record REM Sleep Data.

Indeed. It is not REM, it just my wife kicks me from the right side asleep and I must avoid
