Gs6 925t roms??? :/ please - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Is it just me or is it impossible to find a rom for the 925T? I have the Tmobile GS6 Edge, it's slow, it constantly overheats and I basically hated it since day one. I was hoping that the 6.0 update would help but it's done very little. I have rooted & frozen much of the bloat but it's also not changing anything.
Can anyone recommend a rom that will help speed it up & help with battery life before I throw this POS in the trash cause I'm that fed up!

small question

getting mt3gs in two weeks
but i doubt i will root it
has anyone seen and IMPROVEMENT before with rooting?
not as in features and whatnot but as in speed, stability, battery life?
be honest here
i had a g1 and i rooted it and every rom that was made [FAST] or [STABLE]
was really just an easier way to say [ALMOST WORKS AS GOOD AS STOCK, BUT NOT REALLY, JUST ALMOST]
i have a feeling if i root my slide that i will just be on an epic quest to find a rom that actually works meaning functions properly
i want to be able to base the rom i use on features and not functionality...
has anyone noticed any improvements? be honest here
im a die hard android lover and have done every hack and run every rom there is
but i feel like you get so used to how they work that your idea of blazing fast
is in reality just barely keeping up with a stock setup
i have yet to find a rom that will still be blazing fast a week after use
they all seem to crash and burn miserably
has anyone else noticed this?
i just really want to know if it is an improvement to root my mt3gs or just kind of a "thing to do"
and yes this is my first post but i never felt like me taking up space would help anyone
i learned everything i know from here but i am no dev by any means
i just felt like this is something that needed to be said

I came from a G1 also and I can agree with what you say....Kinda. I was able to find a few ROM's for my G1 that were very stable and much faster than my stock ROM. I used several for weeks and didnt have any problems with them slowing down' but there were some that didnt work as well also.
You will definitly see speed improvements in the future for the MTS but right now it is so new that the ROMS coming are doing smaller tweaks such as removing all the bloatware and alot of the sense UI stuff.
After you get your MTS you will want to root it when you see all the crap bloatware and stuff that t-mobile and Htc put on it. Thats what got me to do it.
I forgot to tell you: I havent noticed a speed change since I rooted but those changes will come. A overclocking kernel will be made so it can be overclocked and that will speed it up. I will say it is pretty fast right now ( more than I thought it would be) and coming from a G1 it is a big improvement.
Rooted myself but still on the stock ROM. The phone has not slowed down any since I have had it or since I have Rooted. I happen to like the Sense UI so I am waiting for a 2.2 With a Custom Sense/speed improvements.
That is exactly how I felt about the G1. And the Slide is so fast that I was hesitant to root and jump into someones ROM that is supposedly stable and fast but in reality is not. Luckily we can root and stay on the Tmobile ROM which is what I did.. now I have some of my convenient root apps including wifi tether and hopefully soon can delete some bloatware and ill be happy as can be with the stock rom.. no apps2sd no non sense crap.. I like the phone how it is.. That being said my bluetooth has been acting up and I did not notice this until after rooting..

[Q] 3 months in... starting to lag

well it's been my experience with every android phone and every rom i ever used for any of those phones, that after a month or so from a clean install, things start to lag, freeze, etc. my galaxy s3 has made it about 3 months, but it's starting to get there.
i don't think i'm asking too much of it. i have 4 homescreen widgets. i use nova as a replacement launcher. i have a lot of apps installed (including the preinstalled stuff, right around 150), but most of them are games, and i tend to remove games/apps that come with intrusive ads and unwanted notifications because i want to keep this thing running great.
anyone have any suggestions that don't involve rooting (i really didn't want to have to root this phone, i thought it would be powerful enough to run good without custom roms, unlike say my old g1/g2/mytouch4gslide). i notice one of the biggest issues is chrome. it freezes a lot. i also get quite a few freezes while pulling down the notification shade.
also i'd consider rooting i suppose but only if there's a rom out there with absolutely zero known issues. don't get me wrong, i understand that the s3 is crazy powerful and my old phones weren't, and i shouldn't judge the rom scene based on the performance i got out of experimental roms on a g2 haha, but i never once rooted, installed a rom and then a month later said "yep this is still running great" on any of my old phones. if anyone has suggestions on a rom where EVERYTHING works as expected and nothing has problems, i'd consider it maybe. but at least for now i'd rather figure out a way to get it running better without rooting...
any ideas?

Besides the obligatory answers "download and try a few out yourself" and "your mileage may vary," when I first rooted this phone I had very good luck (speed, battery life, etc.) with the Jedi Invasion ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2013568
Besides that, I've heard that the Wicked ROM is great as well as CM10 (10.1 is stable but has a few issues that would dissuade most who are not willing to be on the cutting edge).
yea you know since i posted the thread i've been reading up on the newest roms and Wicked looks pretty damn perfect. if i do decide to root i'm gonna go with that but i'd still love to get this thing working at least for the next few months, with less issues WITHOUT rooting for now... but thanks for the response.

[Q] Your Sprint LG G2... Root it? ROM it? Leave it alone?

I have had the LG G2 since the beginning of the year and have been very happy with the device. But network issues have come up that have affected performance and I have been toying with ideas of what to do to make G2 life better.
1) Sprint Spark. For us, in the Baltimore area, this is a total dog. How is your experience? Is it worth keeping the software on, or going back level to Jellybean (Kit Kat and Spark are inexorably linked now, so it's the two together, or JB again)?
2) Stock? Rooted? or ROMed? I like having access to the mobile hotspot for free, so rooted isn't too bad, but I don't have a great love or AOSP stock Android ROM's and I think the cameras, at least, are better on manufacturer versions. But, I am open to suggestions.
3) I did go backlevel (actually about 3 to 4 updates back) on the stock ROM for a week or two and found the battery life, voice and data to be MUCH better. I accidentally updated one two many times and came back up to Spark, which I am not happy about. One positive side effect...
4) Knock On works again. Not sure how many of you have experienced this, but my knock on has been dead since around Jan/Feb of this year. Once the Kit Kat/Spark update occurred, I could knock off but not back on again. Now, it's finally back, though a little temperamental.
So, any suggestions about how to improve the whole G2 on Sprint experience? Voice, Data, battery life (which is WAY down on Spark) without losing knock on/off? I'm not really interested in apps that simulated this, just in the real deal.
Thanks!
Try shutting off the LTE bands for Spark. You just need your MSL to do that. Many people saw an improvement, as it only looks for the standard LTE signal.
Stock ZVD Rooted. Freeze all the bloatware. Add a few personal tweak apps (Lux, Lightflow to kill the flashing LED at night, Xposed G2 Tweaks to get a "recents" button, and a few others). Battery could last me 2 days under normal use (which is rather light) or easily a full day of moderate use. I absolutely love this phone and though I used to reROM my SGS2 regularly I don't feel the need ever to do it to this phone. The LG version of Android is much lighter to me than Touchwiz is.
Optimus G3 rom. The flavour of a brand new phone, with a stock base...
Currently running a rooted stock ZVD that's been rather customized by me. Ripping out what bloat I could and replacing basically every app with stock or CM11 equivalents. (keyboard, clock, lock screen widget, messaging, some sounds and probably one or two I forgot)
Used to run CM11 but got sick of how moderately buggy it was and the old radio firmware.
As i've stated elsewhere this phone is kind of a piece of *bleep*. The thing seems to actively resist flashing of all kinds, i've nearly bricked it several times trying stuff out. Finally had to throw it in download mode to wipe it and put ZVC on it this Monday when I discovered the mic was broken.
So.. yeah, let's just say I very much so regret buying this phone. Only reason I did was because FM worked. Should have gotten a Nexus 5.

Roms and tweaks Recommendation?

ive tried variety of roms on my sm p600, from debloated stock LP to full stock rom then debloated myself, then to CM13 then recently couple of the CM14
dont get me wrong the unofficial AOSP/CM roms were awesome but they have little bugs and glitches here and there not found in the stock roms, completely understandable and expected and the teams did a fantastic job, however they also have much worse off battery life and gets hot, much hotter than stock firmware if you use it for prolong period, but the speed and smoothness is unbeatable, whereas stock firmware is just rock solid, little could go wrong and things just work as you expect.
is anyone else tired of switching roms back and forth(and im thankful we have so many choices!), i just want something i can stay for sometime without full wiping every so often and im sure many of you share the same sentiment, i am thinking of switching back to stock, debloat it to hell and then just put on the Prime Kernel and leave it til it dies or whatever, the note 2014 had a very good run with me and should still have lots of life left.
does anyone have combination of roms and tweaks thats got a combination of the advantages of both stock and custom roms?

Stable - Daily Driver capable ROMs?

Ok, so I hate asking this question but I need to update from my S4 because I want a better camera, and faster CPU so I can't try the roms directly
I am looking at the Note 4 or Galaxy S5. Unfortunately the S5 looks like it has more active support, but I really want a Note 4 because of the better hardware (basically everything, UHS Storage, more RAM, CPU, bigger battery, Optical Stabilization...)
What ROMs are you all running as a daily driver? I've been searching and it doesn't look like there are a ton of super stable ROM's in active support like with the S5
I prefer AOSP but stability is most important to me (having a fully functional phone). My least favorite thing in the world is when my GPS stops working right when I need to take a turn in chaotic traffic

I ain't gonna get into a whole Rom comparison story, again. But i will state this. The N4 is an awesome phone, straight up, nothing compares to it. I just bought another one. But as it is aging, development on it is slowing down, But there are a handful of great devs still here with amazing work. I use to also like aosp for its lean state but i would have to say touchwiz is less error prone. Only my opinion though!
I can't compare it with the s5 development , never looked there.
Came from a s5... No regrets.
Note 4 is superior.
Thanks for responding fellas.
Are you both running the stock Samsung firmware??
I dont know if I can handle TouchWiz, but at the same time I don't think I can give up the Note 4 hardware (over the s5).
I think I'm going to pick one up and play with it. If none of the AOSP roms is stable enough for me, I'll stick with a model TouchWiz rom or go back to stock. I'll update this when I figure out that part!
EDIT:
Well shoot - I managed to snag an S5 for $60 on ebay - sight un-seen. From one of those larger used phone re-sellers
Probably half as cheap but I am going to sorely miss OSS from the Note 4, increased battery, quick charge, and UHS storage. I figure I can sell my S4 off, and upgrade to a Note 4 in the future.
Good news is that Lineage OS is officially supported on the Sprint S5, ASOP is a huge reason that I love Android (and kind of loathe Samsung)
I have a Sprint Note 4 for sale for $150. Combined with the OBAR Rom and a ZeroLemon 10,000 mah battery this phone is a tank. Mine just ate dirt after I updated it to 6.0.1. DO NOT UPDATE. Two days after the update I got EMMC error (Nand died) and now anyone else I speak to about the 6.0.1 update killed their phone. I bought two Note 4's and put OBAR back on it. No issues and everything runs fast and smooth.

Hell I have updated, and down graded my phone numerous times, and phone still rock solid.. I went back to 5.1.1 because it is faster, battery life can't be beat, plus you do not have to give permission each time you install a app.. Also I can get rid of all Sprint bloat ware without using a 3rd party app. I also like the square icons rather than the rounded, and the icon size is perfect.

Asked in another thread, hoping tha can help with this....
Have modembase pg1 with mm.
Tha_Dynasty.... Thoughts on if heading over to hybrid 3.0 will have an impact on signal reliability?
Came from s5 and I keep getting dropped signals... In places where I didn't have an issue before.
Tha... Any thoughts?

Well PG1 is MM (6.0) so if you wanna stay on it id look for a MM rom
how ever Hybrid 3.0 is LP (5.1) and yes my signal is much better on 5.1 than 6.0 but each phone is different
but for me hybrid is perfect no random reboots and been using it as a daily driver for a lil more than a full year
and it plays nice with xposed... can help if you need it.
the op will have the necessary steps to revert back to 5.1 if need be :good:

Im running the ultimate note 7 hybrid Rom 6.1
Lately it's been seeming sluggish
You all still think 5.1 is fastest or most stable combination?

I was on 6 with my Note 4 and Note edge. I cant downgrade from Marshmallow on the Edge, so I went back to the 4 since you go all the way back to kit kat. Note 4 + 5.1.1 + Hybrid Rom + xposed = happiness
