Hello
During the last 24 hours, my phone rebooted itself everytime I opened snapchat (something immediately, sometimes after 5-10 seconds). note: I didnt and still dont have this problem when the phone is charged.
I kept trying using snapchat till the phone started rebooting itself just by going into lockscreen (after couple of snapchat caused reboots) and once even rebooted twiced (without getting into lockscreen.
I took the battery out for a couple of hours and then rebooted the phone when charged. the phone didnt do any problems and I could use snapchat (same as before when the phone was charged.) but after a while when I unplugged it (no apps were open) it rebooted itself again.
now the phone is charged, and Im pretty stuck.
Any ideas guys?

I brought my Nexus Prime from Korea last month.
A few hours ago I was listening to music on my phone when it rebooted. After that it came back on for roughly 10 seconds before rebooting again.
I uninstalled a game from my phone roughly 30 minutes before this error happened.
I cannot use my phone now, I get a few seconds of use out of it before its stuck in a continuous reboot cycle.
I have tried letting it cool down (it was a hot day), removing the simcard and changing batteries. Not sure what else I can do with only a few seconds of use.

Is anyone able to help me get out of this reboot cycle?
Try to back up important things and do factory reset. Is your phone rooted? CWM recovery installed? If so, before doing factory restore you could try wiping cache/dalvik cache first.

Luckily its still a new phone, so there isn't much on it.
The phone is rooted in that I cannot access it in any way. Even connecting to a computer is useless as its only on for a few seconds before it reboots itself.
CWM recovery isn't installed, will be when the phone is working again though!
Is there a way to wipe the cache/dalvik cache or factory reset while the phone is off?
fastboot will allow you to erase data, userdata, as well as flash a custom recovery like cwm or a full rom.

edit: boot your device with POWER+VOLUP+VOLDOWN into fastboot. search google and/or xda for some fastboot tutorials.
I had this problem awhile back. It was a bum phone with hardware issue. I had to exchange it. Yours may be in the same boat.
I will try a fastboot later today and let you know the outcome, thank you.
If all else fails I'll send it back to Korea for new hardware I guess.
I ran into this problem a while ago. I had to restore the phone to stock using the image from Google. Haven't had a problem since
Hello,
my phone is stuck in reboot loop since yesterday.
I have this phone since 2 years. It was rooted and on fulmics 5.3. Since few weeks i had random reboots, more and more often, since yesterday when it became unusable because of the reboots.
It wasn't in bootloop, but the phone starts, the rom loads, and after some seconds it reboots.
So i changed rom, went on exodus, but the problem remanins. The rom boots, and after 1 or 2 mins it reboots, go in bootloop, then starts and reboots again.
Today i've made the Flashtool procedure to go back on stock, but the problem still remain. The rom booted, changed the language then rebooted again.
Wad can i do now?
Thanks
perhaps to be hardware problems, there are some parts of poor contact caused by repeatedly reboot
its not the problem of rom . its a battery issue
replace battery
Maybe this ^
I'm using phone connected to power and it seems to works!
Thanks!
Buy a new battery
Hi,
yesterday, my phone started randomly freezing for about 10sec, and would then reboot. This happened every few minutes. I let it off, plugged in, all night, and today this was still happening.
I was running the latest PureNexus. I decided to try to clean flash, but couldn't access twrp ( After selecting recovery from the bootloader, the phone would just freeze and reboot ). I then flashed the latest android M factory image via fastboot. The flash went smoothly, but the phone still wouldn't boot ( same issue ). I can't reliably access the recovery ( the stock one ), as the phone reboots when it gets to the android icon with the warning sign ( even though sometimes I can get to the recovery, but can't select anything in the list, as it freezes and reboots ).
I'm running out of ideas, and would like to know if there's anything I can try before contacting LG?
Thanks !
Hey, i think you need to ask lg to replace your phone

Hi,
today i had a strange problem with my nexus 5x, I was on WhatsApp and studently my phone freeze and rebooted. After that it was stuck in a bootloop, I first tried to flash the recovery images but after the flash it was still bootlooping.
I tried to use a tool that WugFresh made, I used the “Soft-Bricked/Bootloop” mode to restore it. After 20 minutes of bootlooping it finally booted properly.
BUT after configuring the phone it freezes again and same as before, it bootlooped. This time I let the phone do his business and after a while it rebooted (20 minutes again)
After each reboot, the phone works fine for 20-30 minutes and freeze and reboot again. I tried to film, take pictures, watch videos on YouTube and it worked fine each times (it freezes after I wanted to skip an ad on YouTube).
I tried:
Restore multiple versions of android (the first release and the last one, I didn’t use a older version of Nougat)
Used the WugFresh to flash the images
Erases all the partitions with flashtool commands
I want to discharge completely the phone and charge it back again (I thought that the battery was the problem but because it freezes randomly it might be something else)
Don’t know if someone had the same problem.
Here are the logcat after the phone rebooted : http: // pasted . co / 9296e1ba
I'll try anyting you'll recommand
Thank's in advance
It is easier to write than read, right?
Dunno why everyone thinks that his problem is so special
Im having the same problem as yours. Started 5 days ago, after putting the phone to charge and gone shower. After it my phone was rebooted in the boot-password screen, already gone back to 7.1.1 (was 7.1.2 beta2), flashed O and no solution. Still bootlooping and booting correctly after 10minutes of bootloop. It works for 20-30 minutes or less and freezes again. Sometimes works for hours.

Hello there
I own Redmi 1s. I have been using the phone for nearly 2 years now. I currently had Cm 11 installed on my device. Today while using the phone, my phone shut down on its own. A few seconds later the MI logo showed up on the screen. It lasted there for a few seconds and then went off again. The same has been happening for over an hour now. The battery percentage before this happened was over 50 %. I have TWRP installed, i tried to open the recovery. The recovery opens up but the phone shuts down on its own within a second and the MI logo shows up again.
I can't figure out what to do. Please help me. Thanks
I removed the battery when I saw this problem. The moment I put the battery in, the phone starts up on its own. This is pretty different as the phone didn't start on its own when I used to remove the battery in previous cases. In this case it starts on its own and the MI logo keeps of appearing and disappearing.
If you can get into recovery, you might like to try clear cache and data or even a factory reset (means sacrifice all data) and see. If still keep restarting, might be time to flash back the stock ROM...
