[TOOL][FLASHABLE][v1.2] SplashTool: Boot Splash Changer - Sony Xperia M

Announcements
07/25/16: Added Xperia and Android splash PNGs.
Disclaimer
By using this tool, you will take full responsibility to anything that will happen to your device. It requires general knowledge and first-hand experience in recovery flashing.
Introduction
This tool is based from osm0sis' Android Image Kitchen modified specifically for our device and made into a flashable zip to be able to run in the recovery.
The flashable zip runs a script that extracts the current boot image to be modified and flashed back, which makes it compatible with all custom-based ROMs.
Prerequisites
Custom-based ROM
TWRP recovery
PNG file (480x854)
Instructions
Name your PNG file to 'logo.png' and place it in /sdcard.
Flash the attached zip file.
Notes
The zip needs to be flashed for every ROM update.
If you want to revert back to the original boot splash, you can always restore your boot backup, reflash the ROM, or extract the boot image from the ROM zip and install with TWRP.
I also included some PNGs I made if you're interested. Requests are welcome.
Changelog
v1.2 - 20160725
Switched to 'update-binary' shell script; now file size is reduced by 50%
Temp files are no longer created when no PNG is supplied
v1.1 - 20160723
Fixed progress bar not displaying correctly
Minor visual tweaks
v1.0 - 20160723
Initial release
To-do List
Fix the progress bar not displaying correctly
Use a different 'update-binary' to reduce file size
Switch to 'update-binary' shell script

It can be of any size as it unpacks and repacks it instead of just replacing the hex of the boot image.
EDIT: If you mean what size dimensions, it's 480x854px.

I think this already modified for xperia m only sir, this change some part in ramdisk in your kernel if I'm not wrong. So I think this will not work, but if you curious about this then just try it.

It is successful. But I am stuck in boot loop.Only splash screen shows.TWRP or OS doesn't show. What to do?
I have backed up everything. So I'll restore. But any way to change splash without affecting boot?

No, you are wrong. He wants the Kernel Logo, not Boot Animation :/
OP: I don't know exactly how, but you can do it yes.
Kernel logo is in the ramdisk used when kernel is compiled. I think it can only be changed before you compile.
EDIT: sorry it's been awhile since I played with kernels. For my old x10 the file was logo.rle in ramdisk. Ignore my comments about compiling. You can unpack the kernel file to get the ramdisk. Xda member Championswimmer has a kernel kitchen to help with this.

Do your self bro, dont just ask and ask.
This is how:
1. If you have stock rom, head over HERE, extract hidden and cache only, make it .tar then flash it using odin.
OR
2. If you have another custom rom, extract folder system/csc. Extract this cust.rom, copy paste that csc folder in system folder, zip it again with 7zip or windows native zipper, flash via cwm, boot again, using csc changer to change csc.
I sugesting you to try the first one.
Second one need skill so you not trapped in bootloop.

[PORTED][CM11]Xperia Z2 Framework

Introduction:
After my successful port of the Z2 lockscreen with particle effects, I have now ported over the Z2 framework-res.apk and merged it with the existing CM11 .apk. Flashing this zip will change the radio buttons, progress bars, animations, buttons and a make it look a lot more like the Sony Xperia Z2.
You need @percy_g2 's CM11 in order to flash this. Don't try flashing on any other ROM as I will not support it. Any issues should be reported with a relevant logcat.
Installation Instructions:
1. Place "framework-edited.zip" into your phone's internal memory.
2. Push framework-res.apk via ADB.
3. Reboot
4. Hit thanks :fingers-crossed:
Screenshots in 2nd post
Tested on:
Moto E - XT1022 - CM11 (Nightly)
Known Issues:
Absolutely none

What error are you receiving? Could you give more detail?
Try manually pushing framework-res.apk to system/app through ADB. Don't use root explorer while phone is switched on, it won't work. Use ADB only?
If it still didn't work, then tell me what is happening and I'll look into it.
P.S. Lockscreen works on XT1021?
i used recovery to flash it,after rebooting the framework didn't change any.( the radio buttons, progress bars, etc.)

[MOD] Recovery BUMP! Mobile

Hi.
In short
Now when we can unpack and repack images with our devices - thank to @osm0sis.
Now when we have awesome themes for our twrp recoveries - thank to @z31s1g.
We need to have a chance to BUMP! recovery images with our devices too
This was the only reason why i little bit modified Sharpening Mod Script v. 3.0 by @Skin1980. Thank you for this MOD and for permission to share my MOD with others.
Using:
Notice: At this moment this MOD works only with @blastagator's recoveries -thank you.
Unpack your recovery image, do changes which you want and repack image.
Always put your repacked image to:
Code:
/sdcard/TWRP
directory.
The file has to have this specific name assigned: "recovery.img" without quotes. You can always easily rename it in recovery. Then simply run the MOD in recovery. You can BUMP and save (same directory) or BUMP and FLASH (Image is not saved!)
Further thanks go to:
Team Codefire
TWRP Team
@cybojenix
@Cloudyfa -Thank you for permission
