I've been using Leedroid for a week or so now and I have experiencing freezes and lags. When I say freezes I mean the only way I get any response is by restarting the phone. Does anyone have any advice or fixes?
HTC cameral photo roll always opens with Google phptos. I want it to open with htc gallery. If I disable Google photos it just lets me look at on photo and doesn't give me an option to choose a default gallery. Again any advice?
I just experienced phone lag again while posting this. Something I did not get while I was stock. Any help is appreciated.

Like the title says, my market application keeps force closing on me. I was on Cyanogenmod 6.1.1, tried a Desire Z sense ROM and decided to restore my CM 6.1.1 back up. Now my market keeps force closing and downloads wont start. Any help on how to fix this?

What version of market r u using?? The latest??

Did you wipe the ROM/cache before flashing ? You should always do so if you're switching between different ROM types.
I was using the latest market with the Sense ROM. Went back to the old one on CM, should I just try flashing the latest one and see what happens?
I didn't wipe before flashing back to CM on my restore (for whatever dumb reason). Guess I'll give both of those a shot, thanks
EDIT: Everything seems to be working now, just had to wipe, wanted to avoid doing that but guess not. Thanks for the advice guys
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to save a number straight from a message as a new contact and it force closes every time while trying to save. I tried creating the contact from the contact list and it does the same thing. I've rebooted and cleared cache. I'm not sure what else to do. My phone just started doing this yesterday.
I'm rooted and running Starburst with data2sd. Any help is much appreciated.

Try to make a full wipe and install once again As far as I know starburst especially newer one versions are not very stable. Try to find 1.3.3.1 version and everything should be ok

Hi. My "Connect to PC" wouldnt work. As a result, i cannot mount to Disk Drive etc. Any idea what is going on? I cannot even open Connect to PC in Setting too. =(
Do you have the latest HTC Sync 3.0.5481 installed?
Could try different usb port, or
Uninstall / reboot pc / reinstall HTC Sync.
Edit: Don't forget Uninstall HTC driver if uninstalling HTC sync doesn't do it.

It's not apk. It's software and driver you have to load on the pc. Google it. DL and install. Let me know how you get on. Make sure don't connect the phone to pc in disk drive mode until software and drivers fully installed. It will tell you during installation, or you may have to reboot pc first.

Maybe not. O did check for update from the HTC Sync itself, but said up to date.
Just double check its actually for HTC DHD, not something else.

Hey guys. Thanks for all the replies. Erm.. I did actually installed HTC Sync in my PC already but unable to get the notification on whether to Charge Only or etc.
But now the problem has been resolved. Ok, let me explain what has happened.
I noticed that some or probably all of my Sense apps such as Music and Gallery are always going into a Force Close mode.(I have no idea why. Past few days it is running smoothly and no issues. But this issue suddenly arise)
All other market apps are still working well.
Because of Sense apps unable to function properly, I decided to reboot my device and see whether it works or not. After rebooting, the Sense apps work well back again. I've just tried to connect to PC and yes it does work again.
So i guess the issue here is not about HTC Sync but.. ROM issue? But seriously I do not think its the ROM problem that causes Force Closes on Sense apps. Probably is my device. =( Or maybe certain apps are not properly installed and hence causing "interruption" with those Sense apps.

If it happen a any more [the force closes].
Try booting to Recovery> Advance> Fix Permissions, or used Rom Manager> Fix Permissions.

Didn't get FC's when you said - try to backup the data then full wipe - data/cache/sd-ext/dalvik cache and re-flash.
Sounds like updated version of market/calendar/sense launcher is causing the trouble.
also try the above mentioned aligning before re-flashing.
did all mentioned above, but decided to go for cyanogen, for now.

When I first installed InsertCoin ROM, my People's process kept force closing. Not sure if this is related. And when starting for the first time, quite some number of processes force closed. So what I did was, I installed ROM manager and clicked fix permissions. And restarted the phone, this made everything stable no more force closes.
However!! The people's process still force closes if I access individual contacts information. Because of this, I avoided accessing people's contacts directly. I used workarounds such as using the HTC dialer to filter out names to obtain numbers. I had no problems creating new contacts so I got used to this issue.
My friend asked me to factory reset through settings. I was confused how this will work since I thought that the people's process force closes because of an issue in the ROM (maybe a bug). I was wrong, after factory reset to default, this issue was resolved.
Now Insert Coin Rom is perfect for me. The only thing that does not work correctly is my hibernate. I am having a discussion on that now to obtain more information.

W'ats? I have been using 1.0.8 since the day it was released and I have no problems at all.
I just did full wipe and flashed it...t'at is all..
I'm also using IC 1.0.8 (CM7r2, since it seemed considerably faster) - So far I've had no issues at all, loving it.

Been using InsertCoin CM7 1.0.8, with cm7r2 hboot for a few days and everything seems fine
Not sure if it's gingerbread, new htc sense or InsertCoin, or all of them but loving the new rom! (only thing that bugs me is that I prefer the old htc weather animations...)

yep, i wiped my phone - data/factory reset, cache, dalvik cache.
though i sort of take back what I said... having minor problems - no FC, or infinite loadings, but i see my SIM contacts when I hit phone/dialer, even though they have been hidden in the people app. I believe this is causing a second issue with messages being unable to find the right facebook/google avatar.
but other than that, seems to be working fine

I have a problem with my HTC One X. When I go to contacts, and scroll little up/down, my HTC terminate it and show message:

com.android.htcdialer has stopped unexpectedly. Would you like to send an error report to HTC? This will help us to improve our products.
1) I tried to clear cache -> No results.
2) Force start/stop -> No results.
After all, all my contacts are sync with my gmail, facebook, skype...
I make snapshoot too.
Anybody can help me to solve this?

Are you on stock Rom or custom rom?
If stock rom try clearing data from dialer in applications. And restore your contacts. See if that works.
If custom rom, re flash the rom.
