Can something of this type be implemented on our HTC?
I've just moved over from the s7 and it's one of the things I really miss. Just nice having a clock there to see without having to wake device.

It can be done and it has been done in the leedroid rom, whether it's battery efficient is up to you to find out... I'm going to assume not though.
Always on will kill the battery on a LCD screen. Best we can do is ambient display.
It's not the same, but you can always double tap the screen and it will turn on for like 5 seconds showing you your notifications
Ambient display can easily be turned on, and seems to be working.

I'm on unlocked and I'm on stock software rooted and I just add my own mods. I'll share them no problem but I'm still figuring how I want to share. I don't really want to make a rom. I could just share the apks and jars to flash or push, then remove the odex files. Right now I have full apm and ambient display added to framework. I made these apm icons to match stock. I also could just give the edits. Ambient display just needs to be unhide really

I'm using this from google play - seems to work OK, although I've not looked into all the settings yet, the proximity sensor one definately works.

I am really interested in the Ambient mod, anyway I can get it? Thanks
To add to the always on display issue. Lcd displays, if kept on for extended periods of time with a constant image, will burn a image into the liquid crystal. Led displays, well can't they are led dots, if they get hot they just turn off. Lcd displays just can't do that.
I'm using Always on Amoled from Google Play. Looks just like S8's. The clock moves quite often so I hope it doesn't burn display. Only problem is that it kills battery quite badly. But if it's in your pocket or face down it's off. Using it as night clock charger plugged in is fine. Check it out, looks awesome

Hello Nexus 7 users!
I'm searching for some active users in xda (post+thanks), and with experience in using UCCW (about 3 people) to test my theme.
The feedback that I need is mostly a screenshot of how it looks on your screen using the default settings (in DPI and other areas)
and with/without statusbar(not the nav bar). Note that you should not post any screenshots(or any files) in this thread or anywhere outside my inbox.
Just post here if you're interested.
Thank you very much

I would like to be a tester! If I get picked I'll edit this post. Xperia Ion (1280x720) I've also got good experience with UCCW too. Did you get your widget problem fixed?

Ill send you some details about it tomorrow, the problem still remains but I was fortune to be able to select the black color text without having to use the pro version.
Otherwise the orange area (music player) would have been green, and the text would been light green, like the widget below.
I can test it if you want but I don't have much experience in UCCW
I'm a quick learner though

Does the beanflinger easter egg work on the Verizon HTC One? I've tried tapping the 4.2.2 but nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated. I'm running stock
Verizon takes the fun out of everything so I wouldn't be surprised if it's disabled.
yea it seems they def did.

Can't get beans to show but we able to enable the developer options by clicking build number. Not all that handy but hey it worked.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I hate creating new threads for simple questions...
When you guys press the power button and it goes to the lock screen, your status/notification bar is transparent, correct? However, when you slide to unlock, does your guys status bar go black for a quick second and then back to transparent?

Opened the framework file and it appears that the png is still there for the Bean Flinger. However from reading around the ability to activate the feature is removed by HTC on Sense 5 phones/roms, I have not seen this confirmed by anyone actually from HTC though.
At least the op said beanflinger and not bean flicking. You all know that's a syndrome nowadays right?

This is a great app that adds pie to your screen. Back, home, and recents. You must turn it on in accessibility and reboot your phone.
Check it out.
Remeber: You can drag and drop pie on any edge.

I hate the pie thing frankly, and it usually gets in the way of my usability of things like texting or anything on the botton screen. PA and PACMAN have this and it's so frustrating you can't turn that **** off.

I don't know what version of PA you were running but pie has always been an optional feature on the "mothership" & original version of PA built for the Nexus 4 by @molesarecoming & gang.
I used full screen / expanded desktop with pie the greater majority of the time since Nexus 4's release and it was the best Android experience I've ever had. I honestly never had a problem with PA's pie getting in the way at the bottom, especially with the "trigger area" adjustable setting. Sorry to hear it wasn't such a good experience for you man!

I'm sure there was a bunch of time spent on it but with PACMAN (which includes PA) there is no way to turn it off. Another thing that bugged me about PACMAN (I dont remember if it did this at the time that I used just straight up PA) but it included the software back/home/menu keys whatever you call that. I much prefer hardware buttons to software ones (software just takes up real estate) and they'd be enabled by default even on samsung devices.
Anyways thanks for working on PA though!

I'm interested in this too. Hopefully there is a way. Waists too much screen space
My suggestion is to just root the phone and install GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys... I did that today, and it's amazing being able to use the full 5" screen for all my apps. Navigation buttons are just a touch/swipe away too.

I tried about GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys, but I don't like having to swipe up to show the keys. I wouldn't mind making them just a little bit shorter.
However, if that isn't possible, I wouldn't mind GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys if I could use the stock HTC Sense 6 system icons for the navigation bar when using GMD auto hide. Is there a way to extract them and do this?

If you have see no sense in the overload of Gravity Box features and just want to set height of the Notification bar, I would recommend "Dimensions Editor" for Xposed Framework. You can even change the position of Toasts with it (also the Height of Notification Bar).
Trying still now.

The culprit is likely your low screen resolution. Try to cram more content on the screen by increasing the DPI density. Here's some pointers:
https://www.themefoxx.com/2018/01/how-to-change-dpi-density-android.html
Be careful though. Going too crazy with those settings may result in some elements or buttons showing off screen.
