H815T - reflashed via LGUP.. now showing as H815?? - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I've recently had my Hong Kong H815T repaired and it's come back to me with v10B-OPT1-YT. The hardware info shows H815T.
I had updated via LG Bridge to v20C, after completion the software shows v20C-OPT1-YT, I was hoping it would show v20C-HKG-TT. The hardware info still shows H815T.
Getting further annoyed at this, I decided to use LG UP and 'refurbish' my phone back to V10B-HKG-TT.KDZ for the H815T using the methods provided on XDA. However in doing so, it has flashed back to LP v10B-OPT1-YT BUT now the hardware info shows LG-H815 WITHOUT the T! Does this mean I have disabled Band 40 due to the model number change? Have I just monumentally f**ked it up somehow?
To add more to the problem, LG Bridge still indicates my phone is ready for an update for H815T v20C (04.02.2016) but I had already updated to that version...
Anyone able to help? My OCD is going ballistic lol, I wouldn't have paid extra for the T model if I didn't intend on using B40!!
Is there any way I can get H815T back showing as the model number?
Or at the very least, does this affect the extra radio band available on the H815T (B40 2300mhz)
My baseband version is MPSS.BO.2.5.c3-00101-M8992FAAAANAZM-1.31581.1
Software version is v20C-OPT1-YT.
Prior to sending it in for repairs, I was running v10F-HKG-TT and my model info was correctly displaying H815T.
Christ I haven't had my phone for 7 weeks and I already messed it up eugh.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,

H815T masked as H815?

Hello, posting for a friend.
I think my friend purchased an H815T as when he received the phone the box had H815T on it. The seller is not accepting return because the model number in the phone says H815. However, when trying to unlock the bootloader via LG, it says ARROW(SINGAPORE) and that a bootloader unlock is not available for that phone.
Is there anyway to prove this phone has been flashed with H815 firmware to mask its true model number? I can't find any field test mode information that would bypass the firmware and give him a real answer. And IMEI lookup only shows H815 and not H815T, although I'm not sure it would differentiate anyway.
All help greatly appreciated!

Your model is H815. The model that available in Singapore is H815.
You can not unlock bootloader because LG unlocks only European H815 models
Most if not all g4 are coded h815. The regional difference comes after that will determine whether u can unlock or not and as my experience goes, the region code doesn't get specified on the g4 box. Unlike Samsung, lg doesn't distinguish different regions with different codes (like gt9300, gt9301 etc) , that how lg got me too. Shifty bastard. So u probably won't be able to get the seller to accept the return due to misleading description since it is indeed h815

G4 H815 now a H818N after Warrenty Claim, Incorrect Software Version now installed

Hello,
Long story short, I have obtained my phone back from repair in Hong Kong (I am located in Australia). Originally the model of G4 was a H815 using software version H81520D_00_0115 I believe from memory. This phone died because of it overheating causing to do a boot loop/stuck on LG Logo screen.
I ended up getting the phone back from Hong Kong, they replaced the mainboard as I thought and now the model of the phone thinks it is a H818N Dual Sim card LG G4 – Running software version V10c-DS1-HQ, which it clearly is not a dual sim card G4 because there is no additional sim card slot. Anyway, phone seems to be working well except the rear camera does not focus (I have had this issue in the past and I resolved the issue by installing the correct software version, eg 20A, 20C, 20D etc.) Trying to update the phone using software update does not reveal any updates. Using LG Bridge reveals an available update for it, it thinks the software version was 20F or 20H not sure, however when it goes to download it does not get past 0% tested on two PC’s.
I have installed the images I have found for the H818N now which are:
Hong Kong H818N10b.kdz (this one worked the best as it didn’t come up with that error message when you reboot if it’s an incompatible kdz image)
India H818N10d_00.kdz
India H818N 10F.kdz
With no success in fixing the rear camera issue. I have not factory reset though as I don’t think it would have much of an impact.
Have tried to loading: H81520D.kdz image but the LGUP utility (which I have been using for the above process) says KDZ file is invalid, I assume this is because it detects the phone as H818.
Does anyone have any suggestions or locations where I could download more images to try like H818N 10A,B,C etc? Or if there is something I should do cause I have had nothing but issues with these phones
Kind regards

Unable To UNROOT LG G3 Korea, Help!

So I bought a rooted LG G3 Korean version (back then i didn't know it was rooted). MODEL d855.
So I looked it up how to unroot it and I found many solutions on how to unroot it, but most of them used LGFlashTool so i went with that method; had everything downloaded but i couldn't find any firmware documents for LG G3 Korean version, so i used different ones such as: European, Hong Kong and many others that i can't remember but all seem to fail to download, all of them stopped at 6% after my failure I decided not to unroot it. But whenever I turn my phone it goes to download mode/firmware update. I have tried holding multiple buttons and taking the battery in and out but nothing seems to work. So now i'm here with my new phone stuck in download mode.
Can anyone help me Unroot it or find a way to exit download mode? I just want my phone back cuz right now it was a waste of money.

what i know is that D855 is the international version, While korean version have a F400 model number with a suffix base on their service provider in Korea (e. F400L for LG U+)
it seems that you need to flash the correct firmware to recover your phone. (it's important to know what model number you have)

My knowledge on phones isn't that great but before i tried to unroot it i looked up how to find my model number and somewhere in the settings i found that it was the D855 and under my battery it says D855 and under that it says made in Korea.
So the Koreans have the F400 but i have the Korean D855, well now i'm totally confused

LG G4 F500S bricked, stuck with download mode.

Hello Members,
I will start with a bit of a back story. I ordered a G4 H815 off ebay and the seller information showed it is coming from Hong Kong. Upon arrival, I checked the phone's hardware using CPU-Z and everything seemed fine. The back plate and the about section of the phone both said the phone is H815 model. The android version of the phone was 5.1 so I tried checking for the phone update through ota but it said there are no updates available. So I started searching on the internet for a H815 image file to update to Nougat but I found that Nougat is not available for the 815 model. So I searched and downloaded MM build for the 815 model (H81520b). I flashed it and then later bricked my phone. Sometimes the display stayed blank, sometimes it worked but the radio of the phone never worked. Now after flashing, the phone's about changed the model number to H818. After extensive research and digging through XDA I found that the phone I got is a F500 version refurb (LG or someone did a big scam here). So I downloaded the F500L20c image and flashed it and it fixed my phone.
Later when I checked with imei tracker websites, I found out that my model is F500S and although the L built worked fine for me, the network was very unstable. In order to fix this I downloaded the nougat built for F500S (F500s30b). It flashed perfectly on my phone but I got many errors on startup, so I decided to flash it again but with the refurbish option on the LGUP. The flash started like normal but got stuck at 38% and gives the error 0x2000. After that my phone only boots up to download mode. I tried many times using the refurbish and upgrade option, with the previous and other different kdz's but no success to any of my tries. Any help here would be appreciated.
