Hello Members,
I will start with a bit of a back story. I ordered a G4 H815 off ebay and the seller information showed it is coming from Hong Kong. Upon arrival, I checked the phone's hardware using CPU-Z and everything seemed fine. The back plate and the about section of the phone both said the phone is H815 model. The android version of the phone was 5.1 so I tried checking for the phone update through ota but it said there are no updates available. So I started searching on the internet for a H815 image file to update to Nougat but I found that Nougat is not available for the 815 model. So I searched and downloaded MM build for the 815 model (H81520b). I flashed it and then later bricked my phone. Sometimes the display stayed blank, sometimes it worked but the radio of the phone never worked. Now after flashing, the phone's about changed the model number to H818. After extensive research and digging through XDA I found that the phone I got is a F500 version refurb (LG or someone did a big scam here). So I downloaded the F500L20c image and flashed it and it fixed my phone.
Later when I checked with imei tracker websites, I found out that my model is F500S and although the L built worked fine for me, the network was very unstable. In order to fix this I downloaded the nougat built for F500S (F500s30b). It flashed perfectly on my phone but I got many errors on startup, so I decided to flash it again but with the refurbish option on the LGUP. The flash started like normal but got stuck at 38% and gives the error 0x2000. After that my phone only boots up to download mode. I tried many times using the refurbish and upgrade option, with the previous and other different kdz's but no success to any of my tries. Any help here would be appreciated.

Hello Everyone I have a problem with my LG G3 which I have bought it recently was working nice but it had KitKat so I wanted to upgrade to lollipop but didn't know that LG G3 had different variant.
I've downloaded a wrong flash (LS990 sprint) and flashed it. so I lost the network and I noticed that the imei has changed. and I don't have the original IMEI of the phone ( the sticker on the back of phone is for D855 16GB not for D855 32GB).so I think its not the original IMEI.
After bricking the phone I've opened it and noticed that it was D855 written on the motherboard.
when trying to flash the original D855 rom it doesn't work (flashed it using the crossDLL method and using the Hex Method By changing D855 to LS990 to make the flash tool think Its LS990) the flash pass on both methods but i'm stuck on LG logo.
send it to some repairing services here in my country but they didn't fix it they thought its sprint so they flashed PrimeGSM but still no network.
I think I should change the IMEI before flashing D855 or something.
please Help me I've looked all over the NET but find no solution to this problem.
If you need more informations ask me. Help me as soon as possible this is the only phone that I have.
Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I have a ls990 which was flashed with PrimeGSM and is now detected as a d855... I have been trying to get this working for the last two days with no luck

Hello
What is the problem that you are facing ?
Is it a network problem or what ?
Primegsm is ported from d855 so i think it will show D855 on any lg g3 that does'nt mean that your phone detected as d855.
Make sure your phone is ls990 or another variant
And which country and carrier ? So i can help you.
I basically have a soft bricked phone - no OS as all. I am in New Zealand running on the Vodafone network.
I was using PrimeGSM and it was working fine but decided to go back to the stock ZV8, when running through LG Flash Tool I noticed Download mode was showing the model as a D855 and would not accept the LS990 DLL - I then made the mistake of using the generic DLL with a D855 image which started a boot loop - then made more mistakes and ended up with no OS and stuck at the LG logo.
At this stage I am able to get to fastboot and use fastboot boot to get into TWRP but cannot do much from there, I also have to use the D855 TWRP image as the LS990 fails with a device tree issue. fastboot will not erase any partitions or flash any images manually. Using terminal in TWRP I am able to browse the partition though but cannot mount the SD card or use adb to push or pull (fails with error closed)
I stuffed up quite a few times along the way but sure I can recover from it since I still have quite a bit of access to the device...
I managed to get my phone going again by following a guide I found in the forum, I am pretty sure it would solve the ops issue as well.
Really quick and easy, I just bridged the points with a needle and copper cable.
Hi,
I have a problem with my LG G3. The phone shows the well known message "Current version is not available for user. Can't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc[], subset[]". If I insert SIM, the phone won't connect to any network.
This is how it happened:
I bought the phone form Aliexpress as refurbished. It came with Android 4.4. It could not find any update for my ROM. So I decided to root it and install CM13. But during the rooting process the phone got hard bricked. I had to follow the guide with shorting pins and Qualcomm driver to restore the phone. Unfortunately I didn't have the original ROM. So I flashed files from LGD855AT-00-V10e-EUR TOT. Then I was at least able to get to download mode and flashed a European Lollipop ROM with LGUP.
Since then I'm getting this error message no matter which ROM I tried. According to IMEI the phone location code is A6GBTN. So I even tried to install a UK ROM without any success.
I think the fault might be caused by the fact that during unbricking I flashed also do misc.img partition. And now the data in it don't match with my phone. Is it possible? What should I try?
Thank you.
Hi,
So someone gave me a LG G3 which he updated to "D85530C_00_0211.kdz". After that the phone stuck in the LG logo and it rarely loads the phone but it freezes. I can barely unlock the phone sometimes but usually it doesn't recognise the touch.
Neither the PC is recognising the phone.
I tried to use LGFlashTool with TOT file but after "READY" when I unplug and plug again it says "Download Fail".
I also tried with the older LGFlashTool using the KDZ but still didn't work. It only worked with the KDZ above, which is the same software and again it is freezing.
LGUP isn't working too.
Any help/suggestions?
P.S.
Maybe I'm using wrong TOT/KDZ?
-The version he updated and also I was able to install is D855
-Under the battery writes "Made in Korea" which may be a Korean phone but Korea doesn't have D855
-I searched on imei.info the IMEI number and it says Carrier Poland.
-I tried using Poland KDZ, Hong-Kong TOT (because they have d855) and Europe TOT(which also has d855)
-The phone is 16GB
I do believe that your board is not of d855. It happened to me a month ago. When I opened the phone.I saw d850 written on my board.so that might be the problem.

It says D855 behind the phone. Also all parts do write D855 and a number near by. So it must be a D855.
Hello,
Long story short, I have obtained my phone back from repair in Hong Kong (I am located in Australia). Originally the model of G4 was a H815 using software version H81520D_00_0115 I believe from memory. This phone died because of it overheating causing to do a boot loop/stuck on LG Logo screen.
I ended up getting the phone back from Hong Kong, they replaced the mainboard as I thought and now the model of the phone thinks it is a H818N Dual Sim card LG G4 – Running software version V10c-DS1-HQ, which it clearly is not a dual sim card G4 because there is no additional sim card slot. Anyway, phone seems to be working well except the rear camera does not focus (I have had this issue in the past and I resolved the issue by installing the correct software version, eg 20A, 20C, 20D etc.) Trying to update the phone using software update does not reveal any updates. Using LG Bridge reveals an available update for it, it thinks the software version was 20F or 20H not sure, however when it goes to download it does not get past 0% tested on two PC’s.
I have installed the images I have found for the H818N now which are:
Hong Kong H818N10b.kdz (this one worked the best as it didn’t come up with that error message when you reboot if it’s an incompatible kdz image)
India H818N10d_00.kdz
India H818N 10F.kdz
With no success in fixing the rear camera issue. I have not factory reset though as I don’t think it would have much of an impact.
Have tried to loading: H81520D.kdz image but the LGUP utility (which I have been using for the above process) says KDZ file is invalid, I assume this is because it detects the phone as H818.
Does anyone have any suggestions or locations where I could download more images to try like H818N 10A,B,C etc? Or if there is something I should do cause I have had nothing but issues with these phones
Kind regards
hello

Edit: looking at your other posts, your issue looks like an imei issue. Sorry can't help. Ignore below if already done. There is an imei related thread in ROM section. Ask those guys for help.
First of all you need to stay with your own model firmware. Korean kdz is again a single sim firmware. Next in the unbrick tutorials it says to backup your partition before flashing. If you did that, the files will be at c\user\.....\appdata\roaming\qualcom\comport...\ .
The files will have really long filenames. Just check if they are backed up and flash them back.
I also experienced tish issue . before this i bought phone from ali express after i received it sudden restart itself automatic like 2 or 3 times a day. It was dual sim phone. Today i thought it is a software glitch. I checked my software version then i downloaded pie version of indian region. When it flashed successfuly it shows only one sim and also shows only one imei number. But sudden reboot issue fixed. I dont know what was then and what is now. It was before g710aew and now g710ulm. I think it is refurbished phone. So em saying you should flash pie version from indian region.
