I tried restoring tablet to factory reset, wiped all data, nothing worked! Tried charging wit tab switched off, nothing working, can anyone help me out what to do? Is there a problem with battery? As I switch off and switch on the tab again battery level rises back to 100percent.... and then drains to 0 again in 5mins. I admit charging my tablet overnight... what doyou think is the problem?

Sounds like a hardware issue. Maybe defective internal battery or charging circuit. I don't think charging overnight is an issue.

Mate, I had the same problem after factory reset. It's no real hardware issue, but a miscalibration of the battery Chip.
Have a look at this thread for a solution, which worked for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1215182
Hi guys!
I received the Android 5.1.1 update on my Moto 360, but now while charging the battery percentage won't update on the charging screen. Only when picking up my Moto again, and placing it back in the charger will update the battery percentage to the current amount.
So my question is: is there a way to fix this? I tried rebooting my Moto, and plug the charger out and in again. But nothing works..
Android Wear version: 1.1.1.2006643
Google Play Services: 7.5.76 (2002306-534)
Android OS: 5.1.1
Android Wear app: 1.1.1.1956917

Mine update every 1-2 minute. So it only update around every 2-3% for me. You sure, you waited long enough?
i noticed this too. prior to the update, the % would increase until full, now, say if you put the watch on charge at 21%, it will show 21% even though it IS charging.
only when you take it off charge does the true charge rate show.
i could factory reset, but it's not that crucial for me to do all of that when the watch is charging normally...

This is exacly the problem I have as well, I really hope there is a simple fix. Or else I have to reset it which I hope I do not have to do
go ahead @Rikrr , reset that sucka and be the guinea pig...
OK, so I went there and reset my Moto 360. Now it seems to be working properly again. Before that I got an update of the Android Wear app, but that didn't fix anything. Now it all works properly again and the battery percentage is updating again when charging.
Full reset
I found I had a few bugs and had to factory reset the Moto a few times to full clean them out. It would get stuck at pairing, the lock if removed would randomly lock while on my wrist. All good now.
I'm having the same problem but I woke up to 84 percent after it being on all night then not wanting to fully charge all the way is there a way to fix that or should I contact Motorola

Best advice I've seen is factory reset the Moto and remove from the phone then pair the devices again.
having the same issue since getting a 5.1.1 update... It never fully charges if I get to use the watch at all its for a very short time before dying again. Resetting it seems to be the only fix at this time until a patch comes out
having the same issue here , even factory reset did not solve the problem
same problem here
i'll probably do a factory reset
i did 3 or 4 of those suckers and I still have the issue..
Some solution?
Hi guys, I just bought one and now I have the same problem :/
Watch battery status doesn't update
The problem I'm having is that the watch since the latest Android update won't show battery below 98% after an entire day of use and then suddenly shutdown due to no battery. Even when charging, charging starts at 96% after 12 hours of wear and goes to 100% in a few hours but never reports below 96-98% on any watch face nor on settings of watch.
Used to be on the settings menu. I no longer have restart and I no longer have factory reset. Where have these moved to?
Strangely, they have moved it to Settings-Unpair with phone...

Wow. Why does this OS seem very "1.0?"

Yeah, they took out Restart for some reason, and Factory Reset is now "Unpair from phone."
Guys, my watch when i do unpair its not reseting no idea why, it turs off, do you have to have any percentage minimum to do a reset?

Yes, there is a minimum battery required before it will do a reset. Cant remember what it is, maybe 50% or higher.
Sorry, a bit slow in reply
So, to try and fix my 1 hour battery life from 100% to 0%, I am trying to reset this...yet again. When I go to do this as per the instructions in this thread, the watch just reboots and doesn't factory reset. Suggestions? Or is this thing trash now?

Needs to be nearly fully charged to reset. Try fully charging it and do the reset while on the charger. You can press and hold the button to bring up settings screen while on the charger.
Lol it drains at a rate of several percent per minute. Finally got it to reset after a third try, still does the same battery drain stuff. Throwing it in the trash as it simply does not work anymore. I will revisit Android Wear when it has matured.

Dont throw it away, give it to someone on here to modify. If its stuck down to a small qi charger, it could be used as a notifications device in a car or motorbike for example.
Well, if anyone wants to buy it, PM me.
I have a battery issue. The watch charges until 14% maxand then it stops charging. I tried factory reset but it just turned off and when I turn it back on it is the same - not factory reset. I charged it for a night but nothing happened. Any ideas?
Hello. My s9 is getting hot when i am walking. I tried with flight mode(with bt, wifi off), maximum battery saver, deleting s-health, factory reset, android oreo and android pie.
None of the above solved my problem.
It is completely normal when i am travelling with my car, or sitting at table or while using it.
Is there anyone who experienced same situation, or anyone who can suggest somethings.
Thank you very much.
