Hi guys!
I received the Android 5.1.1 update on my Moto 360, but now while charging the battery percentage won't update on the charging screen. Only when picking up my Moto again, and placing it back in the charger will update the battery percentage to the current amount.
So my question is: is there a way to fix this? I tried rebooting my Moto, and plug the charger out and in again. But nothing works..
Android Wear version: 1.1.1.2006643
Google Play Services: 7.5.76 (2002306-534)
Android OS: 5.1.1
Android Wear app: 1.1.1.1956917

Mine update every 1-2 minute. So it only update around every 2-3% for me. You sure, you waited long enough?
i noticed this too. prior to the update, the % would increase until full, now, say if you put the watch on charge at 21%, it will show 21% even though it IS charging.
only when you take it off charge does the true charge rate show.
i could factory reset, but it's not that crucial for me to do all of that when the watch is charging normally...

This is exacly the problem I have as well, I really hope there is a simple fix. Or else I have to reset it which I hope I do not have to do
go ahead @Rikrr , reset that sucka and be the guinea pig...
OK, so I went there and reset my Moto 360. Now it seems to be working properly again. Before that I got an update of the Android Wear app, but that didn't fix anything. Now it all works properly again and the battery percentage is updating again when charging.
Full reset
I found I had a few bugs and had to factory reset the Moto a few times to full clean them out. It would get stuck at pairing, the lock if removed would randomly lock while on my wrist. All good now.
I'm having the same problem but I woke up to 84 percent after it being on all night then not wanting to fully charge all the way is there a way to fix that or should I contact Motorola
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Free mobile app
Best advice I've seen is factory reset the Moto and remove from the phone then pair the devices again.
having the same issue since getting a 5.1.1 update... It never fully charges if I get to use the watch at all its for a very short time before dying again. Resetting it seems to be the only fix at this time until a patch comes out
having the same issue here , even factory reset did not solve the problem
same problem here
i'll probably do a factory reset
i did 3 or 4 of those suckers and I still have the issue..
Some solution?
Hi guys, I just bought one and now I have the same problem :/
Watch battery status doesn't update
The problem I'm having is that the watch since the latest Android update won't show battery below 98% after an entire day of use and then suddenly shutdown due to no battery. Even when charging, charging starts at 96% after 12 hours of wear and goes to 100% in a few hours but never reports below 96-98% on any watch face nor on settings of watch.
When I charge my battery and it is 100% my TAb S is switching off. I only see the battery picture showing 100%.
I did a hard reset and a clear install without results. Anyone an idea what happens?
Are you saying it switches off completely or the screen does?
It switches off completely, not only the screen.
I had this problem a couple of weeks ago,has soon has the tablet booted up it would switch off then I would have to boot up again, then it would switch of again.i had the battery changed by Samsung about a month ago it started switching off since that battery change, the new battery started discharging just like the first battery, the tablet is now back with Samsung,i am hoping to get it back in the next couple of days, lets hope they fix it this time.Longlegs
My Note 4 have been shutting off whenever battery level hit 4 - 5%.
When I try to turn it on, then it will turn on until att logo and restart the phone again until I plug in the phone or take out the battery.
I have tried to factory reset my phone twice but this problem still occurs.
Is there a way to fix this?

calibrate your battery..
use the phone until it dies and turns off. leave it turned off and plug it into the charger. let it charge to 100% and then let it run down until it turns off again. charge it back up to 100% while it is turned off and you should be good to go
Thank I will try it tonight
Update: I have tried three times with charging my phone while it is off and etc. but it seems like it is still turn off around 4%.
Is there any other way to calibrate the battery?
My 12.2 keeps crashing and ending up in SDCard Mode.
It works just fine after charging. I can boot up for a day or two, the battery seems to discharge normally, then I will try to boot up and it goes straight to SDCard Mode. Last night I was using it, the battery at about 70% and it crashed. Black screen then tried to reboot and it goes into the SDCard Mode.
Once in this mode I can do nothing with it. No response and if I shut it down with the button it lights back up into the mode after a couple seconds. It will not charge.
At this point I either have to leave it until the battery goes completely dead, then it will charge, or remove the back and disconnect the battery, plug in the charger and when the battery shows on the screen I can reattach the battery and it will begin to charge.
With both of these options once it starts to charge it shows that the battery is completely drained and starting at 0%
Anybody know what's causing this?
Thanks,
Jim
Today with 80% on battery I started some updates off the Google Store and the tablet crashed to the SDCard mode shortly after.

Ok, so I think that my zuk has completely gone under.
This is what happened, My phone started to get random restarts and battery swelled, so naturally, I went to the service center & got a new og battery for zuk z2. After charging the new battery for around 2 hrs, I went on to wipe the phone since, I wanted new battery to gel with a new ROM. After wiping off everything, my phone goes completely blank. NO REACTION whatsoever.
This is what is happening to my phone:
1) No initial vibration.
2) No LED blinks whatsoever.
I've tried the following:
1) Pressed power button (& other combinations) for prolonged period time both with & without charger.
2) Left the phone for charging for like 6-8 hrs.
3) Left the phone as is for a day.
4) Disconnected the battery and everything & let the phone(in disconnected state) sit overnight.
5) Disconnected the battery and connected the phone directly to charger for 7 sec and then connected the battery again. (https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/288970/Phone+won't+accept+charge-turn+on)
6) Tried the Deep Flash Cable Mod.
Nothing is working and phone doesn't show any sign of being alive. Anybody who went through the same or give some new ideas to try?
My phone also randomly turned of with no signs of life. It does response to my pc though when I connect I hear a sound
