Since yesterday I am having a strange problem with the bluetooth profile to make calls (I think HFP - "Hands-Free Profile" or HSP - "Headset Profile"), does not play the audio call and my interlocutor can't hear me. Even the accessories that also support Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) for audio playback does not work anymore, but if I disable call profile, then the audio (Play Music, TuneIn Radio, Spotify, etc...) is correctly reproduced.
Before I never had this problem, my smartphone is a G3 D855 32GB / 3GB with stock rooted MM ROM v30B.
Any suggestion to solve problem?

Hello, I just bought a bluetooth headset that supports both headset and a2dp mods.
I can listen to music fine.
And when i receive a call it switches to headset profile fine..
I can hear the call from earphones but..mic does not work.
I downloaded and tested with an application bluetooth mic tester and it was working fine in this application.
So no hardware problems with it.
What i suspect is, this headset doesnt have any pin code to pair devices..
You just discover the device and pair without any pins..
So, can it be a security issue not to enable microphone on calls?
And if so,
is there a way to change this behaviour, modiying a file etc on audio settings??
Thanks?
Hi,
This is a very annoying thing I am facing as I am an avid music listener and I love to listen to music in my wire free bluetooth headphone.
Everything was working fine until I upgraded to the official Nougat version from Marshmallow in my Lenovo p2 32GB/4GB.
The audio keeps stuttering and skipping for some mili secs every now and then while listening to music.
I have tested my bluetooth headphone with three other devices and it is working fine with them. I have also tested it two different music player : Google play music and pulsar plus. Both the cases the same problem is happening.
I did a factory reset also but that did not prevent the problem.
Also whenever I am connecting my blutooth headphone, the volume is automatically set to the highest.
Tried to unpair/pair my bluetooth device also, no luck.
The stuttering problem is not happening when I am playing video file via MX player with my bluetooth headphone or while listening to music with a wired headphone.
I took logs from developers setting dated 07/04/2017 :

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5ucK93ckWnBdEdKMUJTODRGdk0 --> Interective Bug Report.
Please let me know with a definite solution. This is making my life live harder with P2.

Krishnendu
I have same problem with MM and now(with nougat) that 's better, all work fine but when i connect my headphone the sound is at minimum and i must turn volume higher manually on the phone but after, no problem!
Bluetooth Connection Failed With Car Audio System
hi every one
after i updated my lenovoo p2a42 to Nougat i could not connect with audio system in my car .. bluetooth connected to my laptop successfully .
any solution for this case? pls
thanks
Ok , I lied: I don't have a solution for this
BUT, I had it! I solved this problem two times already but at the third wipe I forgot how it's done and now I can't remember
The problem: I use applications that read notifications (whatsapp, email, facebook, sms) through the speakers of my car or through my bluetooth mono earpice. When in the car (which I suppose it's stereo) the volume is extremely low.
I remember I solved this on 6.0 and 7.1 fiddling probably with XPosed and other stuff.
I use "SMS,MyCar&Me" but I also tried "ReadItToMe - Unique Handsfree" and I have the same problem.
The bluetooth mono earpice is a Kelodo S570
The car entertainment system is Fiat Blue&Me
I'm writing this post mainly as a reminder to myself, I'll update it as soon as I remember the solution
I think I found a different solution, but so far it worked with the Kelodo S570 (I'll try it in the car too)
Dynamic Media BT Mono Router
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...it&rdid=net.philipp_koch.dynamicmediabtrouter
What this does basically is re-route the media volume to the bluetooth mono channel.
In the app "SMS,MyCar&Me" I have the following option:
Send output to Bluetooth headset
Mono BT headsets will not be used [_]
Mono BT headsets will be used (eg headset that cannot play music) [X]
With the S570 I can use both options.
With the checkbox checked, the audio is low.
With the checkbox un-checked, the audio is fine but this is because the S570 can also be used for "Multimedia audio". This means I hear all the sounds of the UI through the earpiece.
This is not the case for the Blue&Me. With it, I can only use it for "Phone audio" and "Share contacts" (this is what I see tapping on the cog in the Bluetooth settings of Android)
If I uncheck the box the device is disconnected, the notifications are read through the phone's loudspeaker
While playing audio on Car Stereo via A50's Bluetooth, The Audio got crackles and skips, even in receiving phone calls,
I have tried changes in developer options in Bluetooth menu, and also disabled battery optimization for Bluetooth but nothing changed :crying: Similar situation while playing in JBL Bluetooth speakers
At other side my old sony Xperia C3 D2502 is working awesome on same car Stereo.
Same problems
If you use powersaving mode disable it
Maybe the problem is from this option
You didn't mentioned which rom and baseband. I use BT with Anker BT headphones, Roidmi2S and used it with Roidmi1 and a Yatour Car unit without any crackles and pops. I'm on May update, XXUASE3, OXM CSC.
Hello,
Just after android 13 stable I notice a issue with a voice call (no audio), but this is just when I using Bluetooth headset, I tried with 4 different headset including pixel buds pro with same result, but if disconnect the headset or switch the the phone call audio to phone speaker, it work, the phone call come back. It important to be clear I am able to listen to listen music, watch videos, notification even use Google assistant and everything work as I expected, this issue Is focus specifically on phone call whit audio through Bluetooth.
