I scrolled though the dev forum and the general forum, but I didn't find a pre-rooted TWRP flashable Lollipop ROM for the P600...Did I miss it, or has nobody posted one yet?

From what I can see, nobody has posted one yet. I tried to make one using SuperR's Kitchen, but it wasn't extracting it correctly, so I gave up. I might have another go, though.

5.1.1. prerooted rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10-2014/development/dev-llp600b1-23-10-2015-t3249279

I cannot find that this has been posted anywhere in the Dev section. (Since this a question about it, posting here.)
Netarchy talked about deodexing it back in Aug, but I cannot find that it ever was posted. I found a link to ppcgeeks, but that is to some download site I have to register to before I can download.
Has a deodexed version of the 3.26 OTA been posted? I need to go to that stock before I can go to the 3.29. :^)

Uhm...that really doesn't say what he has in that package. How do you know that it is a deodexed version of the first 2.2? Not running any package blind without knowing what is in it.
Also, if I read the title correctly, that radio is older than one I have already updated to...
(and I have never seen the answer to ... 'what is nv anyway?')

Ok, you can post that question to the OP in the forum for the ROM to verify this info....
You can also check this post to see if you have any luck there or ask netarchy (OP) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=743352
I compiled aosp from source and flashed the rom on my phone through rom manager. I used the binary files from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1421188 and used the tweak to stop the recovery image from compiling. After flashing and upon booting I get this weird band going horizontal with the screen. I've attached a screen shot and was wondering if someone knew what I di or didn't do to cause this issue.
edit: I finally ran the exact script and pulled my prop files from an aosp rom 4.03 rom on my phone. If you're following the guide on cdma be prepared to extract the files you need or pull them from a git repose of a rom that's working on your phone. I tried the binaries posted in the cdma development section but they didn't work for me. Just some food for thought.
did you accept the agreement using the path for the source or what you did?

I'm not sure I know what you mean.
Any reason why this isn't in the Compile thread?

Is there a compile tread on XDA other than here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1386615&page=15 ? I posted in the Q & A section because the moderator wanted people to post their questions here. I hope I can get some help with this issue either way. Thanks
I think in this case it might be worth posting in that thread, or at least link this thread in there as more people will then see the issue you've got

Hello All,
I know it topic has been discussed many time, but please clarify me something more on this.
I have a HTC One V Cdma device, i flashed a custom rom recently and i experienced continuous reboot.
So, i searched the forum and found that i have to downgrade the radio and then use the kernel provided by the developers.
I found this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018518.
In this link i am finding the Football's Primo Shipped ROM Collection links unavailable.
From where else i can get this file.?
Also, what will happen when i downgrade the radio ? Will it cause any adverse effects ? ..
Also let me know how to install this RUU
Ok. So the RUU you are looking for if you have CDMA is this one.
http://www.htcruu.com/securekey.php..._Sprint_WWE_VM_1.08.652.11-1.08.652.6.zip.md5
You also want Stock Recovery and Stock Boot.img. before restoring to the stock RUU I believe, unless your doing it your own way.
The site is htcruu.com and all thanks to JMZ.

Thanks for the reply bro. I am seeing 2 type of files .zip and .exe file. Which file i should use ?
In many threads i am seeing that we should flash the radio 521_2. So now which file i should choose for the same.?
Also the .zip file is of very small size only 17MB and the other file is 350 MB why there is a huge difference between the sizes.
please assist. All i wanted is to run a Stable JB without boot loop.
The RUU is the bigger file. Just make sure you use the right one.
The Zip is the OTA update that will cause the bootloop on Custom Roms.
So....why do we even have a q&a section if people can just post here and get answers without repercussions?

I experience the same boot loop or freezeup with custom rom. And what worked didn't have wifi and came with other bugs. My old HTC wing had easier rooting to be honest. I eventually gave up with this modding this phone so I might sell this phone out of frustration.

OK the issues you had are from not installing the correct boot.IMG OR having a radio version that made it impossible to flash custom firmware to your HOV. This seriously belongs in Q&A thread.
EDIT: Lloi shut his cm thread down to a dumba$$ question being posted earlier. Please folks read before just posting I made mistakes at first too but people please......

Seriously people take curious up on the team viewer offer so that you can watch him and learn how to do this stuff. Maybe we should make a YouTube video with all the steps.
And yes, wrong section. Op in the future please take note that questions belong in q&a, it helps us stay organized.

Could someone help me out
I have an att 4.3 s3 with a kt747 kernel and cwm.
How can I update to 4.4.2?
Do I have to reverse the custom kernel and custom recovery?
Enewman17 has two threads in the General section for updating. Use one of those for best results. If you simply want the ota, you'll have to flash stock 4 3 firmware.

Hey Doc
I'm still having trouble understanding the threads. Do both the threads take you to kitkat? Could you help me out and link me to the correct thread?
in those threads neither mentions having a nonstock kernel. Does it matter?
Thanks!

If you take time to read them, it will answer all your questions. Yes, they're Kitkat and having a custom kernel is actually needed to flash through recovery.
I suggest you take time to read and understand what you're doing before actually doing it. All the info is in the General section, just gotta take the time.
If someone has a stock boot.img for the latest sense 4.4.2 release. Could you please share it.
I'm running stock tmobile 1.57. I need to use sunshine to s-off, but forgot to backup my boot.img before flashing faux's kernel.
Thanks

If you would have searched a bit, you'd have found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2714456 or this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2754063
You could surely find all other variants as well just using the search function.
Hit "Thanks" if I was of any help.

I've belong to this forum for quite some time. I know how to search.
I'm asking for the boot.img for 1.57. Which is not contained in either of those threads. I looked through all the back up restoration threads and it is not there. That's why I made this post.

Hi and sorry. Didn't recognize it wasn't there, and just ran in somebody who didn't even use the search more than once today.
Just uploaded the whole FW 1.57.111.2.zip here:https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rfvwx4qa4owbdwr/AAD2rm_oOv9ixcWrbxdOVTQVa. Hope it helps! And sorry again.
