If someone has a stock boot.img for the latest sense 4.4.2 release. Could you please share it.
I'm running stock tmobile 1.57. I need to use sunshine to s-off, but forgot to backup my boot.img before flashing faux's kernel.
Thanks

If you would have searched a bit, you'd have found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2714456 or this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2754063
You could surely find all other variants as well just using the search function.
Hit "Thanks" if I was of any help.

I've belong to this forum for quite some time. I know how to search.
I'm asking for the boot.img for 1.57. Which is not contained in either of those threads. I looked through all the back up restoration threads and it is not there. That's why I made this post.

Hi and sorry. Didn't recognize it wasn't there, and just ran in somebody who didn't even use the search more than once today.
Just uploaded the whole FW 1.57.111.2.zip here:https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rfvwx4qa4owbdwr/AAD2rm_oOv9ixcWrbxdOVTQVa. Hope it helps! And sorry again.

Hey guys / girls. I've been making toolkits for phones for about 3 months and they gained pretty good recognition. Would you guys be interested if I made one? I know it is early to ask, but the more input the better!
If you never saw my toolkit, look at my signature.
Of course this community is open to development as we have little atm..I would try it as it looks interesting..

I see the phone is now out. There is one recovery and one kernel. Can anyone extract the stock kernel for the Stock ROM zip file and send it to me? Also, the stock recovery as well. Thanks!

It'll be easier if someone just posted direct links here for the stock kernel and recovery..

Thanks for replying me. I do appreciate it but i don't wanna use the DZ hboot...seems to be a lot more complicated. It's not good for future flashing either...sharing the original one will be much [email protected]@

I'm not to sure what you mean, either one has the same complexity to flash, the process is the same either way.
Not sure what out mean by not good for future flashing either, any ROM flashed to a phone with the dz hboot will work just fine, the only real difference is that the system partition is larger so larger roms can be flashed.
There is a link to not the g2 and the dz engineering hboots in the first post, just look through it and yo will find both.
If those links are down then see post 30, I have made two custom pc10img.zips, they can be flashed via hboot or fastboot (fastboot preferred) or you can extract the image needed from within them and just flash the hboot. The hboots are in .nb0 format and would need to be changed to .img if you want to flash just the image through fastboot

WOW! you are ahead of me on this one! lol
First I ask for help in the downgrading thread then you answer.
After down grading I go to the wiki and try to download the necessary files and one is missing.
Search the internet and find nothing, see threads related to the same thing and BAM! My hero stricks again!

Thank you VERY MUCH. Everything is done now!
Hello All,
I know it topic has been discussed many time, but please clarify me something more on this.
I have a HTC One V Cdma device, i flashed a custom rom recently and i experienced continuous reboot.
So, i searched the forum and found that i have to downgrade the radio and then use the kernel provided by the developers.
I found this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018518.
In this link i am finding the Football's Primo Shipped ROM Collection links unavailable.
From where else i can get this file.?
Also, what will happen when i downgrade the radio ? Will it cause any adverse effects ? ..
Also let me know how to install this RUU
Ok. So the RUU you are looking for if you have CDMA is this one.
http://www.htcruu.com/securekey.php..._Sprint_WWE_VM_1.08.652.11-1.08.652.6.zip.md5
You also want Stock Recovery and Stock Boot.img. before restoring to the stock RUU I believe, unless your doing it your own way.
The site is htcruu.com and all thanks to JMZ.

Thanks for the reply bro. I am seeing 2 type of files .zip and .exe file. Which file i should use ?
In many threads i am seeing that we should flash the radio 521_2. So now which file i should choose for the same.?
Also the .zip file is of very small size only 17MB and the other file is 350 MB why there is a huge difference between the sizes.
please assist. All i wanted is to run a Stable JB without boot loop.
The RUU is the bigger file. Just make sure you use the right one.
The Zip is the OTA update that will cause the bootloop on Custom Roms.
So....why do we even have a q&a section if people can just post here and get answers without repercussions?

I experience the same boot loop or freezeup with custom rom. And what worked didn't have wifi and came with other bugs. My old HTC wing had easier rooting to be honest. I eventually gave up with this modding this phone so I might sell this phone out of frustration.

OK the issues you had are from not installing the correct boot.IMG OR having a radio version that made it impossible to flash custom firmware to your HOV. This seriously belongs in Q&A thread.
EDIT: Lloi shut his cm thread down to a dumba$$ question being posted earlier. Please folks read before just posting I made mistakes at first too but people please......

Seriously people take curious up on the team viewer offer so that you can watch him and learn how to do this stuff. Maybe we should make a YouTube video with all the steps.
And yes, wrong section. Op in the future please take note that questions belong in q&a, it helps us stay organized.

Are you on JB/KK bootloader? What rom are you running now? What Kernel are you running?
Answer to your question is, if you are on JB, last page of the dev forum has the stock MI7 rom. If you are on KK the stock NB4 rom is there on the second page.
Please don't start a question thread with the title HELP. It gives no insight into what your problem may be and most of us won't look at these threads because they are usually repeat questions. Thanks
sorry

Yup there sure is...Just as there sure is a SEARCH BUTTON, Just as it sure says in the xda rules to SEARCH FIRST BEFORE posting threads such as this...Being that there sure are many, MANY threads here on XDA with titles along the lines of "RESOURCE/GUIDE/TUTORIAL-BACK TO STOCK "
If you didn't make a nandroid backup when you first flashed the current custom ROM you have installed you will need one of the "stock" ROMs that are posted here on XDA.
Check over in the Original Development sub-folder.
