[Q] Root XXDME6

Hi All
Till soon i had an Xperia Z, due to SD issues, ive seen the light and got myself a NOTE 2 XXDME6 .
Only problem is i cant get it rooted
If i follow steps like this : http://wccftech.com/guide-root-xxdme6-android-412-jelly-bean-galaxy-note-2-n7100/
I get stuck on :
ou will then put your Galaxy Note 2 N7100 phone in Download Mode by pressing and holding down the Volume Down button, alongside Home and the Power button. A screen will then come up; warning you about entering into Download Mode, press the Volume Down key to continue to enter Download Mode. <--- Cant get in download mode, first step yes but as soon as i press the down button, my Phone reboots.
Anyone can help me on this??

In warning screen you need to select Vol up
Complete procedure is
Switch off device
Press Vol down + home +power
You will entre in warning screen
Select Vol up to enter download mode

the most popular way on net to root note3 neo is
"Download and extract Odin to any folder on desktop or anywhere.
Now extract CF-Auto-Root-hl3g-hl3gub-smn750.zip file and you will get a CF-Auto-Root-hl3g-hl3gub-smn750.tar.md5 file.
Run Odin3 v3.09.exe as Administrator. Just right click on the file and select Run as administrator.
urn off your Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and wait for few seconds to turn it on.
Press and hold Volume down and home buttons for sometime. After 2 seconds press and hold power button too. You will see a warning message. Press Volume UP button to boot in Download mode from where we will flash CF-Auto-Root tool.
Connect your device with USB and wait for a few seconds. In the message box which is in the bottom left, you will see a message Added!! If you didn't get the message, then please install USB Drivers from here.
In the section of AP, just select the CF-Auto-Root-hl3g-hl3gub-smn750.tar.md5 file.
Make sure that Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are the only boxes which are selected. If any other box is selected, please un-select it.
Hit the Start button to root your device and flash it.
You will see a PASS message in the message box and your device will be rebooted automatically.​"
n it doesnt work
rather it just stop at 30 percent & brick it

flash your stock firmware first the try it again.

ikw d fix 4 it... do 1 thing remove ur battery... go to download mode 1st without connecting usb cable... when it will say press vol up to cont b4 press vol up insert the usb cable tn press vol up u will c that the com port will come without fail and if it still.fails tn fry check out ur driver pack or try flash it using linux OS like ubntu try it

company fixed y mobile but go kexc counter to 1 so i dont think so they'll do t next time
i only have window 7 os
i think i have driver issue
so if u can please upload the driver & odin u used to root ur note3 neo, it'll be of great help

ok you have the hexacore.
first you install the driver in your pc
then run odin as administrator.click pda.then choose sm-n750 tar file in your pc.
turn on usb debugging in you note3 neo.then powerdown your phone.now boot youre phone in download mode.
by pressing volune down.home button and power.
now conect youre phone into pc then wait till a blue color appear in the small box in the upper left of odin saying id: com(dont know if i remember that corectly)if not.try another usb port.
if its blue then click start.utill you see succes.

I have SM-N750 with the same SOC and spec with your phone. It is using in Vietnam and rooted by the file: https://mega.co.nz/#!KccSnQwZ!C_kb6flVTrO5s0EyLNO_1Dx8m9XO-9_B3X_8-lMvVvs
It was rooted ok (use ODIN 3.0.7 or 3.0.9 and PDA button to choose the file). Unfortunatelly it has not any stable recovery up to now.
Note: If you connect to the laptop or PC first then start ODIN, ODIN must show the "added!" message. If not, trying to install Samsung mobile driver or/and Kies 2. Besides, download mode may be turn off and turn on again.

[Q] firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4

While I was was trying to root my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 SM-T700 my nephew unplug my device. Now I'm stuck on the error: Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select mode in Kies &try again.
Kies does not pick up my device.

1. Download stock firmware for your Tab

I have got the same problem.
My tablet won't go on "Download mode", and it stays on the screen "Firmware upgrade ..issue" :crying:

I know that this is a long-standing question, but I will answer. Perhaps this will help someone with a similar problem.
If you see the word "Firmware upgrade issue" on the screen, then the tablet is already in Download Mode and you do not need to do anything extra to call the Download Mode. You just need to connect it with a cable to the computer where Odin is already running and Odin recognizes the tablet. After that you can download the desired ROM to your tablet.

Problem while flishing ROM with LG Flash Tool, AAT Mini OS 3.1

Hi, I've tried to flash a stock ROM using LG Flash Tool, I've selected BOARD DL mode because I got system reset 2 with UPGRADE DL mode.
When I turn my phone on It goes directly to the Mini OS 3.1 screen and there is a popup messages that says: "Auto touch test, don't touch the screen!". I've read on some forum that you can skip this screen by pressing power button and Normal Boot(+power). But I'm not able to close popup messages, I click ok button that it doens't response at all.
Any suggestion about how to fix it?

Use power button and volume buttons.they will respond.the circle will respond on the point when power button is pressed.

Updated out of the box device to latest android.
Tried to unlock the bootloader by adb method.
typed
"adb reboot bootloader
fastboot -i 0x2b4c flash unlock unlock_bootloader.img"
and then the command screen showed " [waiting for the device] "
As i was waiting i scrolled through the options by volume keys.. they are like "Restart" "boot to recovery".......
Accidentally pressed power key when it showed something like "Boot to ffb" or "Boot to fbb"
now struck in a screen which has some options like..
"1 SYSTEM INFO
2 KEYPAD BLACKLIGHT
3 LCD BACKLIGHT
4 LED RED
5 LED GREEN
6 LED BLUE
7 FLASHLIGHT
8 KEY
..
..
.. "
My screen is not responding well..
Also this screen what i see everytime i try to reboot by holding the power key.

Looks like u messed up during unlocking the bootloader.. Try flashing the stock ROM by QPST method... then again try to unlock the bootloader from the guide available at XDA ... For flashing via QPST... go to this link

my device is only being detected as a CD/DVD that too after installing Zuk USB drivers.
I am unnable to switch it off if it has any battery left..
it will only switch off at 0% battery..
and the options on screen are not working
EDIT : I got to know i'm stuck in "all auto test mode"
Even telling me the key combinations to reboot into normal or some other mode is appreciated.

Try to press the both volume and power button at a same time then report me

press and hold vol up+down(whole vol button) and power button than you'll get the recovery mode screen for a second than touch on reboot.

Wow this really worked bro I was stuck in this auto test mode for a whole day I did as I said (pressing power button + volume up+ volume down together for about 5 min and loaded into the stock recovery, I will try to repeat the same by booting into the auto testing mode and going back to the recovery by holding the buttons, will report afterwards.:good:

Have you tried booting into edl mode the hardware method?
As long as you are in edl mode and your phone appears in port 9008 in com ports ,you will be good to go and install the stock rom via qpst .
Just google, booting into edl mode zuk z2 plus

you booted into some bffm or anything mode, I was also stuck in this, try different buttons combination and you'll be able to boot to your ROM, recovery, bootloader or anything
