Hello to everybody,
First of all sorry for my english.
So about what is the tread
There is arround 10 bricked phones in Bulgarian Android Forum.Becouse we cant find where is the problem I decide to ask here.
Problem: After flashing stock test 4.3 and downgrade after back to 4.1.2 the result is --IMEI 0049 and Permanent Test Mode.
what we know until now:
Phones bought from shops for phones reported they downgrade back without issues
Phones bought from mobile operators -bricked IMEI
Flashing again 4.3 after brick do not restore IMEI

Impact on device/How I know I have corrupted EFS
When there is EFS partition is corrupted, device loses IMEI and due to this device can't gets connected to network. Baseband info also sometimes shows unknown.
-Check your IMEI in setting / by dialling *#06# if it is null OR if it starts with 0049** then IMEI is generic and corrupted. In Normal case IMEI which you can see in device setting or dialing *#06# is exactly same you can see on bill/box/sticker under battery compartment
-If you are unable to connect to network in spite of correct IMEI, chance are
A. Your device is Locked to specific Network OR
B. Your device is banned due to tempered IMEI
-If your AP,CP,CSC all are correct and even you are getting error (unknown CSC XXX) on kies update, it may be due to corrupt Product code in EFS. Read This for detail.

If you dont have efs backup then you probably need the z3x box to make repair for your imei and change it to the original one didnt test the ariza patch on this kind of problem but why not give it a shot

Locate my IMEI

Lost my phone a Galaxy Note II N7105 LTE i need to locate the IMEI as I dont have the box/plus didnt write down the IMEI. I thought from Play Store under devices they could display my IMEI as want to report it to network operator to Block/Bar that phone
I did howver once backup the EFS partition maybe anyone know how to extract IMEI from that ? or any other way maybe from a common cloud service perhaps people use and they could have my IMEI in there?

i have flashed stock rom but noting.... have sereched postes i have did all thing but noting...how can i recover my imei back.. i dont have efs backup... sorry for my bad english.

Flash correct modem for device . You will find modem files in the forum, please use the search option, and others also had the same problem and it was solved before, please look around.

I have flashed spain stock rom but not solved my problem... i tried all modems but not working... which will you recomend me? Plz

This is because of your efs partition might be corrupted or formatted. Check if you'd backed-up your efs-partition.

Who can help me? My phone is unlocked by z3x and worked with imei fake. Now, I want to writer imei original. I don't backup EFS and haven't backup. Can you help me????

you cant write imei with out a cert so in short... no

H815 Imei 0

Hi guys,
I have LG G4 H815 Showing imei 0. i wanted to unlock the bootloader i sent the IMEI That was in the case and LG send me the Unlock.bin file but the bootloader unlock failed. so is there a way to set the IMEI to its original value???

Well If you would have a backup of efs yes... Which you can't have until you have twrp or similar installed.. So idk no way to recover it without a backup. Is the phone still booting? What is working what not? Do you really mean the imei or "imei sv"?
You wrote you send LG the imei? You have not go through the official unlock page by LG? The imei was taken from the sticker behind the battery? Or from within a booted rom?

easy contact LG and tell them what happened. since you had a working imei and after unlock it was deleted, wiped

I'm having same thing, although it happens when I try to install a custom rom. Imei gets wiped. Even though i have a backup of the original efs in twrp, restoring it makes no difference.
Sometimes when i try to restore the original non rooted system including backed up efs i still have a problem with no mobile signal and blank imei. Restoring efs from a different backup fixes it for some reason. Apart from using non rooted non custom Rom i basically can't get mobile signal.
Any ideas?
