The fact that they show up on a screenshot says its not the device itself, so it must be a software issue. Have you checked to see if there's any updates available for your phone?

Hey there thanks for your reaction. And yes I did check it and there were no updates available. I've just contacted the shop and they said I could return the phone, and I could choose another one but I think I will stay for the M9.

I was thinking about it, and it might be some weird defect in the LCD that only shows up under certain color gradients/shading. If the shop has a display M9, you should open up the same screens your phone messes up on theirs, and see if theirs does the same thing.

Just return phone, it is a defective LCD or even worse...a defective Stock Rom, it could be fixed by applying (not really sure) soff and installing any WWE or DEV Edition, but you would be avoiding warranty.

[Q] Regarding HT/SH26 batch HOX

Hey members,
Greetings to ALL!!!!!!!
Has anyone got HOX from the latest batch, i.e HT26 or SH26....?
If so kindly reply me with the details of it, and if in case anyone facing issues

It would be so helpful for me to get an issue free HOX...I hope so.
I hade 3 from ht261.
1- yellow spot.
2- Dead pixel.
3- dust under the screen.
Got a SH26RW today in exchange for my screen-rippled SH24MW. Was delivered a few minutes ago, not tested yet. I'll keep ya up to date...

I would say no difference to the previous batches. We have at work few different 23 batches xw, yw or something etc. And all have different issues (and some in common). I am not convinced by the 26 being perfect.
The build quality seems to be the same. Except its shipped with the latest .11 fw, but thats about it.
George down has it right.
I would say its either not depending on the batches. Or wait more

Well, just a little screen ripple in the right upper corner when pushing harder so nothing out of the ordinary. Sometimes the WiFi signal icon drops, but neither can I restore it by pushing the case nor do I notice any lags.. so not sure if it's the WiFi issue or some graphic bug..
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Edit:
The other one had that same WiFi icon issue btw...
Update:
Well screen ripple's pretty bad at both sides' very outer edges of the screen, in some positions effect reaches into the middle. Also there's some strangle loose, jiggle noise when pushing the back/home/recent button that's beyond normal vibration, but only when feedback is enabled (settings -> sounds -> vibrate feedback).
Btw got mine from amazon.de, and they offered me to return the first phone immediatly when I told them 'bout my screen ripple and either sent me a new batch One X.

I give up on the one x , it's lottery to get a good one , i thought most problems would be fixed with sh/ht26 :crying:
I almost feel the same right now... But on the other hand HTC promised us to deliver top quality handsets, I think I will take the challenge and bug them 'till I get a good One. :banghead:
Dunno what happened to their production sites, but seriously this HOX disaster is a shame for HTC...
My previous Desire HD I bought last September was so state-of-the-art although it wasn't the latest model, sad I sold it...

Which serial do you have?
I have an SH264 white and working perfectly.
My serial is HT24 but I was hoping to get a later one. I was assuming it would be issue free but I was wrong.

[SOLVED] Unique issue AFAIK

I have posted this in Q&A twice and no help, so forgive me for wrong section.
My One X has a very weird issue that no matter what I can't find anyone who has it. It has a screen flex on the right side, but if I press on the side or something else does, the phone shuts off. The only way to turn it on after this is to plug it into the wall. HTC wouldn't take it because of the bootloader. I just would like to know if there is anyway possible to fix this. I can't even put a case on the device because doing so cause the phone to turn off in my pocket.

The only thing you could do is to take it apart and search for the problem and then eventually replace the defected part
If you have the AT&T version, you'd be better off in that forum, this is for the Tegra version.
I'm.sure the States has consumer protection law, it's clearly a hardware defect. Put stock ROM and whatever else on it and insist your retailer deal.with the problem.

HTC has international warranty, but not sure it if covers US or not.
I can have a warranty in Turkey for devices which are bought in the EU. Better check with HTC support.

The warranty for all HTC devices is as thekillingroad mentioned is "INTERNATIONAL" and should cover the US as well. I had a problem with mine as well, a different one, but if it wasn't for the warranty provided by the carrier I've bought the device from I would've sent it in service under HTC's warranty.
You just have to contact HTC CS and they'll tell you the procedure you have to follow.
I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the repair my device received as it came back with more defects the than it was sent in with and contacted them by phone and afterwards got a complete replacement.
My advice: don't even hesitate to give them a call.
Best of luck.

If all else fails invest in a couple of guitar plectrums and take the whole screen out, then reseat it. Plenty of YouTube vids showing how to do this.

[Q] HTC one x - nothing but static on screen

trying to help my friends daughter with her phone.
It started doing this, and she saw online that she could gently flex/twist the phone to maybe fix it and ended up breaking the screen.
I replaced the screen and the phone is still like this.
I can power the phone on, and hear the startup tones, but thats it.
help! any ideas?

Speakers making a clicking sound

First when got the phone thought was because the camera cause that's what I tried first
but nopes
now every single sound that plays there's a clicking sound.
Is there anyway to solve this?
This phone belongs to my cuz, and my friend got hers the same time but was a ATT model and no sound. But I'm guessing it's maybe hardware, hoping it's not
thanks

Are you completely stock and within the return period?
Sent from my HTC6500LVW using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
A lot of people have been having this issue especially on 4.4. Some say its 4.4's fault but I think its a hardware issue...make sure you're completely stock and try a factory reset after backing everything up...if that doesn't help its a hardware issue and Verizon will replace it no problem. If its not within the 14 day new return policy you're going to get a refurbished phone back but either way they'll definitely send you a new one.

For the hell of it, have you turned off "BEATS" to see if the the clicking continues? If it stops, then it's a software problem. If it doesn't then it's most likely hardware. Regardless, returning the phone sounds like the best bet.
Settings/sound /touch sounds make sure that is unchecked

[Q] How to prepare my M8 for a potential warranty replacement?

Hey guys.
I have my M8 for about a month or so and love it. Kept the phone in a case + screen protector from day 1 and never dropped it or anything like that.
However, even though I tried to keep it in pristine condition, the camera lenses on the back gathered severe scratches which, even though not noticeable yet in picture quality, I feel that in short time it will.
I have recently purchased camera lens protectors as well, but knowing that the lenses are already scratched makes me not apply the protectors yet.
I have seen on a different thread here that someone got a replacement based on the fact that he had scratched lenses, and I would want to try and do the same.
However, I want to know if there is a way of resetting the phone to a factory state, as I have unlocked the bootloader of my phone, rooted and s-offed it as well.
Is there any way of reverting and making sure I am not refused on this basis?
Thank you in advance!

searching for this for over 2 weeks now.
I do not understand a few guides, namely http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735235 , however, I do not understand if this guide will work for my CID (H3G_001)?
If not, do I need to look for my specific recovery/firmware to match? Where would I find this?
Why not post a fastboot getvar all output first?
