So, My phone isn't being recognized by computer. With or without the battery in. USB port works since it's just been replaced but my computer isn't showing OMAP when I connect it. The phone is bricked I assume but is it fully bricked? Download/recovery doesn't work and toolkit doesn't work.
Any thing I can do to test what the issue really is?
Thanks,
Someone with more knowledge please help me.
I can not, for the life of me, get my computer to recognize my watch.
I've tried everything, I've tried installing the driver package another user posted.
I've enable usb debugging in dev settings.
I have adb working correctly but when I type adb devices it's blank.
The only glimmer of hope is I successfully connected my watch via bluetooth debugging and got a debugging dialog on my watch.
I've tried on two computers as well
I really need a detailed guide on how to get my computer to recognize this damn thing
Thanks - A very frustrated novice
Me too. Exact same situation. It was like i read my problem. Also i manage to unlock the device in fastboot mode. Adb in that mode is comunicating with the watch. Please help us. I dont know what to do anymore.

Just managed to get my watch into fastboot mode but I still can't connect or recognize device in adb
Are you trying to connect while the watch is unlocked (screen on, not in ambient mode or off)?

Does your PC react at all when you plug in the USB cable? (Sorry if this is too basic.) Just wondering if its a bad charging cable.

Yes, my pc makes a noise and in my device manager the watch is identified as a Marshall London device. I think that's due to one of the many drivers I attempted to install. Thanks for your help by the way

Nevermind. It's identified as HUAWEI watch under the other devices section. I can't find a compatible driver

A request for the USB device descriptor failed.

Any ideas?
I have some problem how to solve??Any one have solve?
Thx
I've posted this many times in the various Huawei forums and it has worked for everyone so far.
First, remove all other drivers using USBDeview.
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html
Then use this tutorial to manually install the Google USB driver.

Good luck!
edit - here is a fool proof method.

It stay in edl mode
It stay in edl mode or connect disconnect happen after plugging in to computer
One plus 9pr complete brick. Cannot access fastboot or recovery. Will not turn on and when I plug in only shows a connect a chargwer screen. It is charged. I cannot get msm tool to connect either.
What led up to this point?
We'll need more info than this:
Are you using a Windows computer?
Is it Windows 10?
Have you plugged in USB via USB port on the computer or USB hub? (Should always plug directly into the computer)
Windows 10 has driver signature checks on by default, the Qualcomm drivers are not signed so you need to disable signing before trying to use MSM tool : https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials...river-signature-enforcement-windows-10-a.html (I usually use option 2, BCDEdit)
Here's the Qualcomm EDL drivers : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=14943124697586335873
You need to press both VOL buttons and POWER to get into EDL mode, make sure you choose the correct assignment from the top "TARGET" dropdown in the MSM tool too and make sure it's the correct MSM tool for your region/phone. They're all available from here
There's a decent guide here
There's a video here for OnePlus 8/8 Pro but it's the same technique (remember to give him a like if he helps you out ) :
If the MSM tool doesn't show "CONNECTED" on any COM port then keep the cable connected and try rebooting the phone back into EDL mode again, it will eventually show up.
Hi all
during without pc next to me. I’m using MacBook Pro to run windows 10 in virtual machine, but now the problem is appearing, how can I get my phone in edl mode and connect to windows? Cause normally, when I connect to MacBook, there’s options for me to choose connect to windows or Mac system. Please help.

Why do you need EDL mode? If you already unrooted and your phone is working, you shouldn't need MSM. That is mainly used to recover a bricked device.
To get in EDL mode, power off the phone and unplug from the computer. Hold down Vol+ and Vol- while you connect USB to computer. Keep holding both Vol buttons until it gets to EDL mode. I don't know about your virtual machine, you'll just have to look at settings and see if there are different options for how to handle USB devices.
adb reboot edl
is my preferred way when possible. I also found on my windows computer I needed the non-64bit Qualcomm USB driver or my device would just reboot after going into EDL mode.
