You can try it when an official API22 Xposed Installer apk and or API22 supporting method or released.
If you have the OB7 bootloader, you can go back for lollipop or KitKat Xposed. Otherwise wait for it.

I did try the official API22 Xposed Installer apk and or API22 supporting method and put into a boot loop so at this time I would say Xposed wont work on Samsung OG5 at this time. If you have gotten this to work please let us know.

If you tried romracer's API22, that wont work, youll have to wait on arter's API22, which i dont believe is out yet.
Yep, still just the v65 SDK21 for krait currently. Gonna have to wait a bit.

I wasn't sure if the API22 official was out when I posted (forgot) but knew the workaround we use with API21 didn't support API22.

no he's saying that if you have the OB7 bootloader you can always go back to a previous version of touchwiz that supports Xposed. (i.e. if you updated to 5.1.1 by flashing a zip, but not updating the bootloader to OG5)

Actually Galaxy Tools is a better indicator. On my phone with OG5 modem and Beastmode kernel and stock OB7 ROM with stock OB7 build.prop, the software version shows up as OG5, but build and Android version say OB7 and 5.0.1.
But since some developers edit the build field on build.prop, Galaxy Tools is more accurate regarding the bootloader.

For some strange reason, this zip is not working with the latest version of TWRP (v2.3.1.2) as it finishes but it doesn't do anything at all.

That's what I'm wondering as well
I believe that you would have to be on a computer. Packages like this are made to be flashed through fastboot which requires a computer to do manually. Developers "repackage" them to make them flashable through rooted recoveries.

Also, You have to have stock recovery for the update to even work fyi.

this is true. but if the OTA package is installed the first thing it will do is replace hboot and recovery. (thats why sometimes you have to flash the ruu twice, first time will do hboot, recovery, firmware. second will be the rom) if you fastboot flash you dont need stock recovery. it will be installed regardless.
Nevertheless i would wait for Santod040 to do his work. if you flash now, the boot.img will make system non RW and you will loose root. the boot img needs to be modified or removed and its not as easy as unziping the firmware to remove it.

That would be awesome. I'm already unlocked boot loader and s-off , i thought it would b as simple as flashing stock 4.4.3 Rom and recovery, then taking OTA. And then flashing twrp and supersu , I thought for sure I was right about that, but there are many here who r far more experienced than me here, so please share your findings, it'll b MUCH appreciated!

[ROM][KIW-L21] r3 - De-odexed, rooted and Xposed B130

Hi all!
By popular demand and so we can start delving a little deeper into customising our devices, I've prepared a de-odexed, rooted and Xposed ROM for our Honor 5Xs, based on the B130 build.
What does this mean?
De-odexed means that the apps no longer have a dependency on the framework files, so you can tweak them to your hearts content. This is a requirement for Xposed on the device too.
Rooted means root access is pre-installed, generally speaking required for Xposed.
Xposed means the Xposed framework is pre-installed. You simply need to download and install the Xposed APK from this thread.
For maximum Xposed compatibility, theming is disabled using the 'ro.config.hwtheme=0' setting in the /system/emui/base/prop/local.prop file. Change this back to '1' at your own risk, it may break Xposed horribly.
Before installing, make sure you take a full back up. Be aware that as the dex cache needs to be rebuilt for every app, the first boot after installation will take a long time. Really, a very long time. You SHOULD be able to dirty flash over stock.
Feel free to do with this ROM as you please, use as a base for your own custom ROM etc., but please give credit and don't just mirror the files directly.
This ROM is based on the B130 Custom ROM template.
DOWNLOAD - customromtemplate-5x-kiwl21-b130-r3-root-deodex-xposed.zip [romraid] - MD5: a2372d7e4bb9cbec9ba428c96e02b1b2

you can, but you won't gain anything. the update would be over written by the rom
the rom has to be rebuilt with the b140 base for it to work

Or should i use KIW-L21 C432B130 (UK) full revert package then make the update to b140, flash TWRP, SuperSU and Xposed ?

Think of it this way..alphabetically N, then O, so O is more recent than N. It's usually best to have most recent bootloader/modem on your phone to give any ROM you flash the best shot to work well on your phone.

Appreciate it man. Ended up flashing back to stock with odin, but could only find the 4.4.2 file. Ah well. But hey, your ROM is still a beast. I'm just a kitkat man lol.
Honestly, of every lollipop ROM i've tried, yours is definitely the smoothest and lightest I've used. If I ever have the itch to try lollipop again, flashing yours, my man.
