Restoring to stock after using custom Rom/Kernel - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hello.. I just upgraded my N900T to stock lollipop thru tmobile. I then flashed Dompop and Shinto's kernel.
I want to go back and start over as things arent what I expected. Now that I've flashed Shinto, what will happen if I run a factory reset? Don't want to brick my device. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

im obviously a noob and cannot find where to delete this post, please lock it if possible? I figured out my thangz.

[Q] 4.3/coming from custom rom

I have the T999 SG3 model, am rooted and currently running the Wicked v10 rom. I want to try out the 4.3 upgrade and was wondering what the best/safest way is to do this. I already did a nan backup. Do I need to unroot? Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

If you are looking to have your phone download the OTA, then you'd probably need to wipe and install a stock rom. You would then lose root, however. Not sure what the implications of that would be, but I'm sure you'd have to use ODIN, etc, etc, to get back to rooted and custom rom.
I would just flash the stock ROM from DocHoliday's thread instead of going through Odin.. Don't have to worry about Knox or anything, and if you don't like it you can easily wipe and restore your nandroid

[Q] Need to go back to 4.1.2 stock

Ok, long story short, I need to go back to stock ROM. I am currently running the deadly venom ROM 4.1.2. I have been reading in the forums, but I am getting a little confused. There are so many different topics regarding this. I just don't want to brick my phone. So, do i need to just find the 4.1.2 stock firmware and then use odin to flash it? Or do I need to go back to 4.1.1 and the use OTA update? I didn't know if I went back to 4.1.1 it would brick my phone since i'm on 4.1.2. Thanks in advance for the help.
Download 4.1.2 stock for your phone/carrier and flash with Odin downgrading not necessary

[Q] Hello I have a question about Stock mod for my at&t

Hello I want to back to the stock mod but I already build the kitkat.
Can I go back to stock mod? Please help me!
also I found this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2766242
but my phone is from at&t, can I install this?
please help me!
That is my Sprint port (StockMod kk) just repackaged for flashing in odin.
To your original question, if updated to kk firmware, you can still run all the roms as before. Just you can only use the 4.4.2 modem. Some 4.3 rom threads say to use the 4.3 modem, but ignore that if updated to the new firmware.
Thank you

Thank you! so I can not use this mod ;(
yesterday I tried to back to stock mod but my phone hard bricked ;(
I tried some of image flash thing so get back to normal phone but still don't have imei or data
*sigh* I have to find fix shop
If you have got the phone booting again you don't need a fix shop. The imei problem is probably due to flashing back to mjb modem. See this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53851558

[Q] Return to Stock Using Nandroid

Hi
I saw a similar thread with a similar question but I don't think the person was asking the exact same thing and to be honest I didn't fully understand the answers either so apologies if it looks like I am asking about something already covered.
Basically I took a nandroid of my stock 4.1.2 DME6 firmware before I flashed a custom rom. I have since rooted and am using 4.4.2 wesamothman's custom rom. I need to return to stock and have seen the tutorials explaining how to do this using odin and the RUU firmware downloads from Sammobile. But I want to know can I return to stock by restoring my original nandroid, then flashing a stock recovery?
I'm worried because I've heard horror stories about DME6 causing bricks and also I'm not sure if it's possible to go back to an earlier firmware as simple as just restoring a nandroid.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Sold phone, want it back to stock Touchwiz

I sold my Note 2 for Sprint and I now just want to flash a stock Touchwiz ROM or near stock at least. I haven't used the phone in a few months and i've looked over the development forum but i'm unclear on what to flash. I remember seeing a stock ROM but I can no longer find it. I am currently on Dirty Unicorns 4.4.4, baseband L900VPAMA7. All I want is the easiest way to send my phone to the buyer with a stock or near stock experience. I want the easiest avenue because I do not want to brick the phone right before I send it out. I also have a nandroid of my first stock backup of Android 4.1.1 which I don't know if it is safe to flash. Can someone please steer me in the right direction? It would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the response.
From what I gathered and correct me if i'm wrong, simply flashing the MC2 Stock zip, it will unroot the phone and take me back to stock (what version of Android does it downgrade to? Will the phone be able to receive the updated versions of Touchwiz?). If I want to stay rooted, then i flash the root.zip file right after i flash the MC2 Stock zip? (Would this be able to get updates to Touchwiz?)
Are there any other alternatives to getting a stock experience?
I did this about 2 month ago and it went back to stock unroot...yes u will be able to update... also it u want to stay rooted then flash the root file right after before again before rebooting and it will stay rooted ...no if stay rooted u will not be able to get update.... If u reall wanted to stay rooted there's a few stock rooted rom .. link provided

If you have taken the ne2 ota or flashed it with odin DO NOT FLASH that file. If you have not taken the ne2 update than it is ok to use.
