I have and been on Tmobile for years using a Nexus 5. Going to buy a new phone outright, pretty much decided on the LG G4 4G LTE, now trying to find the best price.
Someone pointed me to the net10 website where it appears one can be purchased for 499.00 with free shipping:
http://www.net10wirelessphones.com/LG-G4-4G-LTE.html
you can choose tmobile as carrier from the drop down, they said when it arrives just insert my current SIM and i would be good to go.
seems like the best price i have found, am i missing anything?
Just tried to purchase, turns out they only have the H810 so no H811 for T-Mobile.

I currently own a GT-N7000 Note and am going to upgrade by purchasing a Note II, but I am having some trouble figuring out which exact version to get.
I tried purchasing Galaxy S III once and AT&T refused to unlock the device despite me having paid the full $699 for it. (I ended up having to return it because of this)
I have 4 requirements for the phone but can't figure out what model meets all of them. Any help or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated.
1. I will be using the phone on AT&T MVNO's (am currently on RedPocket).
2. I would like to have working LTE (US is 700Mhz Class 17 I believe.
3. I would like to either have the phone come without carrier modifications to the OS and without bloatware, or if that is completely non-existant at the very least have a version of the Note II that will allow me to easily load a stock ROM on it with all features (especially tethering built in), and without any loss of functionality (i.e. I don't want to deal with firmware incompatibility problems like no working LTE radio or instability or the like)
4. I will be using the phone overseas every now and then so it definitely needs to be unlocked.
Thanks guys.

Has anyone ordered from here?
cellgsmphones.com
Supposedly they are shipping the phones straight from Korea and it has 700 band LTE.
If so, did the phone really come with 700Mhz LTE?
The site says the specs/info came from a wiki, so I am guessing it might be all wrong.
Well if you want to use a MVNO of AT&T you wont be getting LTE, They don`t allow it, its ONLY for AT&T Contract and or Prepaid but it does not work on AT&T`s MVNO`s none of them currently.
I say just buy the ATT Note2 and try to get ATT to unlock and if not pay the $25-30 to get the unlock code from; http://www.cellunlocker.net/.
Hyelton is correct, no ATT MVNO has LTE and I read an article that ATT will be bringing LTE to GoPhone but it's at least a year out.
I have a N7100 on an ATT MVNO and I am getting 5-8Mbps down so it's not bad.
Not quite sure why someone would want to pay extra for a Korean version of a phone to use on ATT when you can just buy the ATT version and pay to unlock it cheaper. Unless your trying to get it on a dumb phone plan and are hoping that the Korean Imei never gets blocked.

Its actualy cheaper to buy the N7100 than the AT&T one. AT&T is $699 plus tax. I only Paid about $600 for mine with free shipping and no tax
I've searched and searched and all I've been able to find is that if you use an AT&T SIM Card in a Bad IMEI phone while on AT&T Towers you get banned, but what happens if I'm using Bell in Canada after unlocking the phone? To buy one new it's going to be $847.45 after tax and I've been finding a few of these bad IMEI AT&T SGH-i317 ones online for around $500 or even less which makes this really tempting to save some cash if it's a little but more work.
What kind of problems am I looking at if I buy one? What happens if I travel south of the border because when I'm traveling Bell automatically switches to AT&T when roaming so would I be banned then? I still don't fully seem to grasp exactly what a Bad IMEI is but I'm still reading about it. I just can't seem to find anything regarding using a Bad AT&T IMEI on Bell in Canada with the ocasional roaming on AT&T while traveling.
Any idea's what would happen or how to get passed this? I wouldn't normally think of this route but the idea of saving $350+ is pretty tempting to figure this out if it works
Why just buy one off kijiji ? And no it wouldn't make a difference as long you don't use an at&t sim card..and roaming should be okay since your still using an bell sim card....

It ended up being $768 to buy a brand new one it directly from Bell with a 1 year warranty so I just picked it up today. Thanks for the help though. I'll know for next time when I want a dev phone to mess around with beta stuff.
I have note ii from at&t which is also rooted. Can i use with different carrier as I am contemplating verizin wireless? Other day, i talked to girl in bestbuy and she has outright refused has no clue of what rooted phone is. Approached another guy, and pointed me to anohter person in another best buy location who can do some real technical advise but reminded me to talk to him in secrecy.
Another option seems to be sign up with Verizon buying real cheap 10$ phone and change the sim card.
Thanks,
No, you can't. GSM networks only with this phone like T-Mobile. Verizon is a CDMA network

As another member posted, with Verizon no. You can use it with T-Mobile, Simple Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket, Red Pocket, Straight Talk, etc. Only GSM carriers support this phone. No CDMAs.

You what mate?
AT&T and Tmobile are GSM networks, mostly compatible.
You can use any AT&T phone (even locked) on AT&T or one of their MVNOs, basically resellers of their network. See here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_mobile_virtual_network_operators
If you unlock it, you can also use it on Tmobile, or any of their MVNOs. But Tmobile HSPA+/LTE data networks may or may not match up too well with your AT&T phone, depends on the phone.
Sprint/Verizon use CDMA, a fundamentally incompatible technology from GSM, so it is a no-go.
okay , i switched to tmovile and got an LG G FLEX. Turns out this phone is piece of ****, dropped 2 feet with the rubber case and screen cracked. Now I am going to use the ATT NOTE II with tmobile. Once I transferred the sim card out of that ****ty LG G FLEX's SIM onto NOTE II, it says network locked SIM card. What do I do? should I bring to tmobile and attempt to have unlock the sim card? Or Bring to ATT? Thanks.,

When I moved our Note II to T-mobile, I got an unlock code from one of the websites. Then I took it to T-Mobile and used that unlock code at the store. Lot's of sites that will send you and unlock code and directions to unlock. You can search this forum for "SIM Unlock" and you'll find plenty of threads.
Did you get the T-Mobile "JUMP" for the Flex? If so, then you can have it replaced, otherwise you're SOL.
Hi all Quick question,
I ordered an LG G3 with my mothers upgrade from amazon.com. Amazon does not allow you to transfer upgrades like verizon does but buying the G3 from verizon is $200. Can I activate the new phone on my line simply by putting my sim card into it(from my galaxy s4)? or am I absolutley required to take it to the verizon store. If I have to take it to the verizon store, does she and her phone need to be present(I am at college so she isn't exactly here to go with me)? Or will I just have to wiat until I visit home again?
Thanks

You can switch a Verizon Sim between Verizon devices all you like. I switch between a G3, G2, and a One Max often. As long as the phone ESN is not reported stolen of course.

Not sure how Amazon works... but if you order an upgrade on the Verizon website, you have to activate it FIRST under the line for upgrade, and then can switch it to the other line.
I didn't activate my g3 on my wife's line (the one I bought it against). I just put my own razr maxx SIM in, started out on my own line.
Verizon showed the phone, properly, on my line, never complained about me activating it on my own line. I still show my unlimited data plan.
It wouldn't hurt to first activate on your mother's line, but my experience was that I didn't have to.
Hi! I want to buy an HTC Desire Eye but I need a version with LTE Band 4 (AWS: 1700/2100) without contract.
Can anybody tell me a safe link from amazon to buy it?
Thanks!

The AT&T version supports LTE band 4 and I just bought one for my wife. At first I thought I'd get it at the AT&T store, but they won't unlock it until you've been using their service for 60 days, so I bought it off of the HTC website (without contract), but it turned out that it was still locked to AT&T and I would still need the 60 days of service for them (AT&T) to unlock it. Instead, I purchased an unlock code online for $6.95 and had it working on T-Mobile's network in no time. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy it from the AT&T store with a pre-pay plan and then just use the online unlock code since the phone is about $100 cheaper at the AT&T store than on the HTC site (and it's the exact same phone).

Thanks for the answer! Can you buy it with a pre-pay plan through AT&T website insted of from a store? I've researched AT&T site and it seems to be mandatory buy the phone with contract but perhaps Im doing something wrong since Im uruguaian and do not understand precisely how AT&T operates.

I don't think you can get it with a pre-pay plan online. I think I tried that but didn't get very far. I'm not an AT&T customer either, so I'm not very familiar with their plans.
Just buy a used one from amazon at&t version and get an unlock code on ebay for under $5, that's what I did
