So when u insert Airtel sim card then only this error appears?? What about sim card... Is it normal micro sim provided by Airtel provider?? I remember this happened to one of my friend's Samsung and the problem was he was not using micro-sim provided by the carrier...

Its Micro Sim provided by Airtel. Reliance 3G sim works fine in it. Airtel 4G sim Not

Same problem here, I'm rooted too

try the 2.18 build. no phone force closes. network has been steady through the day.
the orange patch you see was on a drive, with the phone placed on the dashboard & getting uncomfortably warm!

[HELP] Sudden problem with both SIM Cards not being recognized on any ROM

Good day! I just want to ask if anyone has an idea of how to solve a weird and sudden problem that happened to my phone a few days ago.
I was running Cyanogenmod R16 with Xcelerate kernel.
I use two SIM cards on my phone, but I do not use the first slot all the time, so when I'm not using it, I regularly disable it through the SIM card settings, and enable it only when I need it.
What happened is, when I tried to enable it, suddenly both my SIM card slots could not be recognized (The SIM card settings could not be accessed; and error says: "SIM card info not available. Menu cannot be accessed"). In the lockscreen, it says: "INVALID CARD." for both SIMs.
I tried both restoring a backup and going back to stock MIUI, but still, the problem was there; none of the SIMs could be recognized (I tried using other SIM cards too.)
My IMEI's for both SIM slots are fine.
I've looked up on other forums, but I haven't found any others with a similar problem on the Redmi 1S.
If anyone knows what I need to do to fix this, I need your help. Thank you very much.
Have you tried both sim in other phone..?
If yes,and both working then should be problem with your imei!

Yes, I've tried both SIM's on another phone, and they work fine.
Since my phone still shows both IMEI's when I look for it, I assumed that there's no problem with them. What are possible problems that concern IMEI's? So that I can look up on general IMEI problems.
Thank you very much!
May be this can help friend

Thanks for the reference. Backed up my IMEI and Restored it right after, but still no change. Still, thanks!
EDIT: I've already tried two newly bought SIM cards, and the problem is still present.
Was this solved? Happening to me right now..
Happening to me too... Unsolved
For me just blowing in the sim slot & reboot fixed after few times..
if you have TWRP backup your modem & efs partition, just restore it via twrp. it worked for me
Hello,
I have a similar problem.
SIM2 is not recognized at all. I can use SIM1 only.
Tried to switch the SIM cards and still SIM2 is not recognized.
Both SIM cards are working great on other phones.
Is it OS related issue?
I've got same problem. Try to clean the sim metal contacts carefully and gently with an alcohol and qtip or tissue. It solved my problem.

D855 Sim Error

Hi, I have a problem with my device. Disclaimer: I'm very noob so please be patient.
I'm starting to get SIM CARD REMOVED error since i changed my network provider. My previous sim card was not LTE, just 3g and it had no problem with the device. The new sim card is LTE. It took me literally 5 days after enjoying the new network provider till my device acting weirdly.
Before changing, I upgraded to MM. Originally my device does not support LTE, but then I played with the system (sorry for bad terminologies) and make the feature available. No problem detected with old sim card.
So, I tried the old fashioned way; Hard Reset. I had the device reset twice but nothing changes. Frustrated of the constant automatic reboot, I wiped all system, delvik, cache, etc using TWRP. Then i installed CM13 and use it as my OS. It works well. I got the signal with LTE data. Realizing that the ROM does not come along with Google Play Store, i installed gapps. Soon after restarting the phone, the signal only lasts for an hour then it says " NO DATA SIM". I figured a temporary solution which is, rebooting the device after you lost the signal. It is just temporary though. The signal will once again lost.
What I have tried: 1) Locking the simcard while the phone still got its signal.
2) Changing values using this guide-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/annoying-lg-g3-problem-lte-signal-solved-t3293721
* My sim reader does not seem to be having any defect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Do you know if the SIM works in another phone? Sometimes they just go bad, and your carrier can usually replace for no charge.

Moto Z Play not showing VoLTE for specific JIO Sim

Hello Everyone,
I need some help regarding the network issues for Moto Z Play.
I started this thread because after doing a lot of solutions, resets and still it wasn't successful.
So here's the story -
Two days ago my brother gave me the phone which was in excellent condition (VoLTE working, Battery Performance, etc.) working on Android 7.0.
Then he did a reset on the phone from Settings so I can use it.
When I inserted my SIM Cards in the phone, I got network and everything and immediately I received an Update for Nougat 7.1.1. I installed the update and then when the phone booted, I did the setup and everything. But l wasn't able to get VoLTE on my phone. There was no Enhanced LTE Mode option in Settings. I thought it was something temporary and maybe after sometime I will be automatically resolved but it didn't.
The next day I started researching over the internet and found clearing the cache or data of settings or hard reset from recovery/settings will do and I did it but none of the solutions worked. Then I thought it was the SIM problem but it wasn't. I inserted the same Jio SIM from my phone into another VoLTE phone and it was working. I also tried another Jio SIM in Moto and it was showing VoLTE and everything was working perfect. Also I inserted my idea SIM (which was in SIM2 slot) in SIM 1 and it was not showing even 4G range (Just 3G) (The idea SIM is also 4G).
I tried everything - Swapping SIM cards, resetting the phone, Clearing cache, etc. I don't know why this has happened as my brother was using the same carrier sim in same slots (SIM1 - Jio|SIM2- Idea).
I also called the JIO care and they took the complaint and they told me they would look forward to it in 48 hours.
Also, my bootloader is locked and can I flash original stock firmware? (I guess that's only thing left I haven't tried) If so, please provide the link and guide to flash the firmware.
If Anyone has a solution please help me, I am in big trouble.
Get a new sim card for your number. Don't ask why. But this will work, trust me.

Thanks man, I was too thinking of that and went to JIO store. They had a server error and will be back available in 4-5 days. Will then post with new SIM results.

"No Service" despite a functioning SIM card being inserted

Hi all,
I was running on Fulmics 7.6 for close to a year now, and since it was my backup phone, it was usually on Wi-Fi. But I was able to use my Cricket SIM card before, until yesterday. I got a new SIM card from US Mobile, popped it in, and to my surprise: no data. I got the "No Service" message at the bottom of the notification drawer, and it said "Service disabled" at the top of the lock screen. When I try to update the APN, the "Mobile Networks" option is greyed out. I updated to Fulmics 8.0 and that didn't seem to work. I tried flashing Xceed kernel since some posts said a new kernel would help, and that didn't work. I wiped everything in TWRP, and reflashed, and that didn't work.
I was able to get data to work for a few minutes, when someone suggested using paper on top of the SIM card. After I restarted the phone... data did not work again. Then this morning, I updated Magisk from 13.3 (I think that's what was in Fulmics 8.0) to 15.7, and that got data to work again... but when I updated Magisk Manager to 5.7, data stopped working.
I've since tried clean installing Fulmics 8.0, updating Magisk but not the Manager, and even unrooted my phone and rerooted it. Still no dice. I'm drawing blanks here. The phone clearly detects the SIM, but it insists on not receiving data for some reason. I tried this with 2 different SIM cards that work in my other phones, so I'm not sure what the issue is here.
Probably, simcard slot is broken. Mine LG G3 MB got warranty change, because that problem was same like on yours phone
have you tried without simcard and did you see no serivce or no sim inserted?

If the SIM card is in, it says "service disabled". Without the SIM card, it says "No SIM inserted"
