Hi, I have a problem with my device. Disclaimer: I'm very noob so please be patient.
I'm starting to get SIM CARD REMOVED error since i changed my network provider. My previous sim card was not LTE, just 3g and it had no problem with the device. The new sim card is LTE. It took me literally 5 days after enjoying the new network provider till my device acting weirdly.
Before changing, I upgraded to MM. Originally my device does not support LTE, but then I played with the system (sorry for bad terminologies) and make the feature available. No problem detected with old sim card.
So, I tried the old fashioned way; Hard Reset. I had the device reset twice but nothing changes. Frustrated of the constant automatic reboot, I wiped all system, delvik, cache, etc using TWRP. Then i installed CM13 and use it as my OS. It works well. I got the signal with LTE data. Realizing that the ROM does not come along with Google Play Store, i installed gapps. Soon after restarting the phone, the signal only lasts for an hour then it says " NO DATA SIM". I figured a temporary solution which is, rebooting the device after you lost the signal. It is just temporary though. The signal will once again lost.
What I have tried: 1) Locking the simcard while the phone still got its signal.
2) Changing values using this guide-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/annoying-lg-g3-problem-lte-signal-solved-t3293721
* My sim reader does not seem to be having any defect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Maybe bad connection on your sim card?
Try removing the SIM card and put it back in, and then boot the phone.

done that, doesn't help
Im getting hte same issue. The 4.0.2 update came through, rebooted the phone. SIM not found, press to reboot....
Rebooted, SIM still not working. remove SIM and replace. Still not working. replaced with another SIM. Still not working.
Was working fine prior to the 4.0.2 update. This is on a 1 month old phone that has never been rooted. It is still as stock as it comes out of the box... And i want to test it more before i start boxing it up to send it back...
Have you tried leaving the battery out for a bit, then trying powering it up again?
Here is where it gets weird. I tried 2 other sim cards as well as my own. none of them worked. put my sim card back in and tried again, still not working. turned it off over night. went to Vodafone and asked if i could try a new SIM in the phone. still not working. put my TPG/Optus sim in and it started working. got a new SIM from Voda, transfered all the account info to the new card, waited an hour and tried it again and now it works :/
Dont know what caused it to stop working and dont know what caused it to start working again :/ im going to throw the word "Vodafone" in there as the cause because people will just nod their head and say... "yep, that was probably it..."
I have the same issue with AT&T....the phone does recognize the SIM, APN and all...but no signal. Just once in a while it gets registered on teh network, but for one minute or so...I don't know what to do
Same issue here, after a reboot my phone does not recognize my sim at all. no signal at all. tried a different sim, nothing, bought a new sim but nothing again, returned to stock, everything, but still nothing....no remedy yet....
Hey guys,
This may be a silly question, but I can't seem to find a solution.
I just flashed PAC-ROM 4.3 using CWM, and everything seems to be working great.
Than I realized I didn't have a mobile network signal, so I tried placing a call and it said "No mobile network detected".
How can I enable mobile network, cause it's not even in the settings no more?
I have the exact same problem, anyone with any kind of possible solution? Here's what I tried already:
1. Removed both battery/SIM for a minute or more then rebooted. (Also made sure that 2G was off)
2. Called a Koodo tech guy who updated the SIM.
3. Went in store to try and put my SIM in a different phone, SIM worked fine.
4. Lady tried installing a different SIM card (her own), still same problem. Tried a brand new one, still not working.
5. Backed up my pictures and factory reset the phone. Same problem.
6. Took SIM out, and the phone does recognize there is not a SIM card and now the phone gives me the NO SIM CARD message at unlock screen.
7. Updated to 4.3 - Nothing changes.
8. Browsed the internet for hours then cried myself to sleep, hoping someone would help me out eventually.
I had the same problem with revolt ROM. I flashed baseband and wiped all data but nothing changed...
I flash a factory image and it worked
Sorry for my bad english

I unlocked bootloader and installed purenexus on my friends N5X.
It all went good for 2 week then the phone was not connecting to 3G,though 2G was okay.I thought it was a temporary network problem.
Then after a day I wiped Data then 3G was back, but then after an hour It showed 2G again and then lost all network connection.
I saw that the IMEI and Baseband is okay so no problem there.
Things I did:
-wiped data cache.
-Flashed ROM again.
-Flashed latest vendor and latest ROM.
-Tried different SIM.
Still no network.
Any help would be appreciated.
Check current APN setting and edit to appropriate input. I personally delete other APNs my phone does not need. I'm throwing a random guess, but maybe it could be from the phone automatically setting APNs upon phone restarts.
Hello Everyone,
I need some help regarding the network issues for Moto Z Play.
I started this thread because after doing a lot of solutions, resets and still it wasn't successful.
So here's the story -
Two days ago my brother gave me the phone which was in excellent condition (VoLTE working, Battery Performance, etc.) working on Android 7.0.
Then he did a reset on the phone from Settings so I can use it.
When I inserted my SIM Cards in the phone, I got network and everything and immediately I received an Update for Nougat 7.1.1. I installed the update and then when the phone booted, I did the setup and everything. But l wasn't able to get VoLTE on my phone. There was no Enhanced LTE Mode option in Settings. I thought it was something temporary and maybe after sometime I will be automatically resolved but it didn't.
The next day I started researching over the internet and found clearing the cache or data of settings or hard reset from recovery/settings will do and I did it but none of the solutions worked. Then I thought it was the SIM problem but it wasn't. I inserted the same Jio SIM from my phone into another VoLTE phone and it was working. I also tried another Jio SIM in Moto and it was showing VoLTE and everything was working perfect. Also I inserted my idea SIM (which was in SIM2 slot) in SIM 1 and it was not showing even 4G range (Just 3G) (The idea SIM is also 4G).
I tried everything - Swapping SIM cards, resetting the phone, Clearing cache, etc. I don't know why this has happened as my brother was using the same carrier sim in same slots (SIM1 - Jio|SIM2- Idea).
I also called the JIO care and they took the complaint and they told me they would look forward to it in 48 hours.
Also, my bootloader is locked and can I flash original stock firmware? (I guess that's only thing left I haven't tried) If so, please provide the link and guide to flash the firmware.
If Anyone has a solution please help me, I am in big trouble.
Get a new sim card for your number. Don't ask why. But this will work, trust me.

Thanks man, I was too thinking of that and went to JIO store. They had a server error and will be back available in 4-5 days. Will then post with new SIM results.
Hello
I have just received yesterday a Note10+ and everythings work fine.
Howover since this morning the cell network just constanly reset (status switch between Disabled network and No Signal)
The phone also asking for sim card pin everytime. (Most of time for the 2nd time but ask some time for the 1st also)
Question : does a full odin wipe with Efs clear can help ?
Thank you
Have you checked the sim card?
Yes phone has 2 sim card from 2 provider tryed swapping, one sim card nothing worked
I finally ended with full wipe with odin and fixed the problem but i guess the background problem is still here since i can see randomly the signal bar going complety disconnected (crossed circle) before going back a few second after
I guess there is a software issue in Samsung rom since odin fix the issue
