i have rom blisspop 2.3 and i see my cpu 2.76 ghz in cpu-z
how can i fix that

Kernel 3.4.0
Build : LRX21R.A1421650137
S/w : V20h-TWN-XX
My set heats up a lot when I use it on 4G. On wifi, it runs ok...warm not heated. Today, I was on a Skype call, made though 4G and the set heated up to the point it restarted. Please help me out.

Are you using a case if so try it without the case on and see if that helps some cases cause a real heat issue with this phone
Thanks, I will try that. I can sense the power and volume buttons getting really hot and they are not covered.
Someone told me to use a firmware from different region. Its my first time withLG and I am not sure about it. It was much simpler with my Samsung S5.

I suppose Euphoria OS is good for battery. In my case Cloudy is best and it's giving me about 6 hours of SoT. Changing kernal would also help to increase battery life.

It's more about understanding Android and what you do with it, google location reporting by example will get on cloudy and cm roms and reducing the use of wake lock alarms etc help a lot I would point you to battery topics more then roms also CPU governor can have a huge impact.

I have a 2.3 GHz zenfone 2 however after playing around with some roms my devices seems to be stuck at 1.8 GHz even after I returned to the stock firmware which I have downloaded from the asus website. Does anyone know why this is happening or how could I remedie this.

I doubt its stuck at 1.8ghz, its probably just not under heavy load so its at 1.8 and when you do more heavy things it'll go up to the regular 2.3. set the governor to performance mode and you'll see it goes to 2.3
Antutu 6.0 shows 25,000 and all other benchmarks (geekbench etc) show also around minis fifty percent from the official scores for lg g3, all cpu cores are working, checked phone and seems original specs perfect from cpu z( dpi, resolution, gpu, cpu ,ram perfect) guys help me please I'm desperate, model is t mobile 851 32gb running lolipop 5.1 stock lg

there's no 5.1 update from lg..
Have you tried a factory reset?
Sorry 5.0.1 btw im thinking may be i was charging the phone so cpu throttling may be
I think it fixed itself now left the phone to cool down run again and now 40,000 on antutu and geekbench 750/2000 single n multi core, is that normal?

If the phone was hot yes its normal, LG throttle down the cpu if its too hot.
i installed CM14 on my lg g3 d855 and the cpu still gets some heat like 65.c..
tried greenify , not any heavy apps runing .. any solutions besides the thermal pad ?
b.t.w the screen is cool but the cpu is hot .
