i m enquiring about talktime backup and about sound.( its written only 63db around in gsmarena.
The output which will be important is the ringtone ( acc. to me ) of 67db .. Now , if you have heard a Nokia 701 or a lumia 520 ( I am naming these 2 coz I hear them everyday ) , then the zenfone will be abit louder than the the 520 ...

Hi Guys,
So Recently I got my hands on a redmi 2 and I tried its battery (BM44 2200 mah) on my Redmi 1s. I can confirm that it works perfectly (using Armani Rom CM12.1 R8 stock kernel) .. no problem in charging or discharging.
The thing is I didn't see any noticeable improvement in battery life. Probably because the 150/200 mah bump is not that significant. If you have any experience regarding this fact, please share. I was actually considering buying a new BM44 for my 1s, then I though perhaps I should get a power bank instead.
Also if you know about any other higher mah battery for 1s, please let us know.
Cheers.
Been waiting for this thread i hope there's a mod for our battery life, slightly higher mah would be great
Yup, a bigger battery would be great!
A good power bank would be a nice add on instead.

Hello Friends,
I Need Your Important suggestion on Buying a New Phone.
Actually I was Using Micromax Nitro A311 with Custom Resurrection Remix v 5.8.5 ROM.
And I need to buy a New Phone But I am Very Confused With Which Phone to Buy under 15K.
Since I have Several Options are Available such as Redmi Note 5 Pro, Asus ZenFone Max M1, Realme 1, Redmi Note 5.
So Please Help me Out by suggesting, Which Phone to Buy. Since I need a Phone for Long Term Usage which should also support Rooting and Custom Roms.Performance and Battery Life is also a Concern.
My Two Cents..

Hello...
For what it's worth.. I suggest the Xiaomi Note 5 Pro.
The Snapdragon 636 is a fine engine.. and the Price-To-Performance ratio is amongst the very best.
You just can't go wrong.. wether you leave it basically stock.. or go all out root/roms etc.
Happy Shopping!

Just like that, you know you are on rn5pro threads so i guess majority will recommand their phone so the rn5pro....
Those who are not satisfied are no more here so i guess no one will tell you max m1.
ask in max m1 and i guess they will tell you to buy max m1.
Human nature, we recommand what we have except if really bad product, which is not the case here as spotted, ratio performance/price is just fine af
Just check if you can still unlock (even 360 hours what is that in a recent phone life time)
Hey.
Can anyone help me in deciding which phone to get. My daily usage is mostly mails and instant messaging along with maybe 30 minutes of games. Multi tasking is what I need and my current phone heats up a lot while gaming, so please mention any shortcomings of the 5Z. I have been waiting for the 6GB RAM variant of the MAX PRO for a month, still no ETA.
Should I just go ahead and pull the trigger on the 5Z? or Should I wait for the M1 PRO 6GB? I do like stock android and I've read that the 5z RAM management is not good. Please advise.
Thanks and Cheers!
The 5z is way better.
My OP6 was destroyed by water so I've bought a 5z about 3 days back.
It's mind blowing for the price.
Great battery.
Almost minute warming as compared to OP6.
Standby battery drain of only 01.00% (yes, One%) over 8 hours at night. OP6 had over 7-8%.
Amazing speakers dual.
Not a heavy UI. ZenUI 5.0 is very streamlined.
And the features that are there are very useful.
And the AI does play a role in the background which you notice in small details. And it's supposed to get better with use.
I think between the OP6. And the 5Z it will essentially be about your choice between an IPS and Amoled screen. Many people prefer Amoled but I personally prefer IPS because it is more true to life.

Hey guys, I need your help. I wish to buy Redmi Note 5 ai 3/32gb (money is an issue otherwise I would've gone for 4/64gb) within a month but I need some information. Could you please provide me information?
1. How much SOT do you usually get with Android Pie based custom ROMs with or without custom kernels?
2. Would I face any lag or Fps drops with 3gb variant while playing Pubg and Heroes Evolved (Mobile Legend like game)?
3. With what graphics requirement do you can play pubg?
4. Does Note 5 ai support QC3.0? I know Xiaomi ships it with qc2.0 adapter cable but I have QC3.0 adapters from my previous device and I will buy qc3.0 cable if it does.
5. How much time does it take to charge from 15% to 80% with stock charger?
Thank you, I really appreciate your answer.

1 . Gaming+normal usage i usually get 5-6hr+ s0t .
2 . With HE i never face any fps drop ,60fps mode. On pubg custom gfx setting 60fps+hd , there tiny lag sometimes .
3. ----
4. Qc 2.0 confirmed .
5. 2hour++
Redmi Note 5 AI has quick charge 3.0
Less than 1hour 15mins to charge from 15 to 80%
With WI-FI browsing we can get 10+ hours SOT
With 4G browsing 7+hours SOT can be achieved easily with two days battery life

not ugly memeui. I am asking for Pie based custom roms.
I dont think your expectations are realistic when buying a phone for 140usd.. Games run just fine, not at best settings, but good enough. Battery is amazing, and if 6hours of gaming in 1 charge is not good for you, then no device will be good enough, because its a good result. Well except for tablets, or something like mi max 3.

What you're telling $140, its $220 approx while purchasing in our country. 6 hour nonstop gaming is definitely OK but someone mentioned he got 6hour sot with gaming+light usage, that's what bugging me. And I mentioned Android pie custom roms. I saw battery life starts to get deteriorated with newer android version than the phone's original Android version.

Well its your country tax then, but that doesnt change the fact that phone cost 140usd in all eshops. And yes, battery life with custom roms is not as good as stock, not by much, but worse. But its only logical, throughout 10 years of flashing custom roms it was always the same story no matter which phone. As i said before, if this phone is not good enough in this price for you, then i doubt that any phone will be, because atleast in europe, nothing comes even close to price/performance/quality of RN5.

It's the best phone in the 25k segment. Buy it in Flipkart discounted sales where price us as low as 22k. Good software, good cameras, a few minor bugs.
This phone will be getting the Android Q update when it releases.

It's a decent device and you can be ok with 3300 MAH battery , corning gorrilla glass. 3 and lcd display..
go ahead buy it .. Its prices has been reduced and its the best that can be offered by snapdragon 845.
If not you can buy one plus 6T as well.

hi,
I would say avoid it at the moment. There is much price gap with Zenfone 6 and it is a far better phone. If you dont want the Zenfone 6 you can even look at the Redmi k20 pro or the normal variant whichever come to India
I would say it depends on the price, for example in my country I manage to get it at a lower price that the pocophone f1( 350 USD).

Why anyone will think about purchasing a device which doesn't seem to interest xda developer. Earlier there were few hopes but customization of zenfone 5z almost always leads to bricking of device and there's little to no support for unbricking. You won't even be certified on Google Play once u root using the tool provided by asus, making the device completely unsafe for daily use, There are lots of device with great xda support, find out them and forget about zenfone 5z, believe me all they did with ZenUI is limited the device day by day with each new release and soon there'll a day when you hardly get to do anything apart from calling.
Duplicate post. Please delete.
Its a very good phone with 845...and an OIS which Z6 lacks....I got 8GB-256GB for 24k in flipkart offer...Wanted to go for 1+7...but after looking at this deal ..i grabbed it...with latest pie update antutu score was 294500 ...Battery drains fast when you play games at high resolution....that is the only issue i found....
