Guide to buy Galaxy Nexus

Hi,
I am planning to buy galaxy nexus phone from US and I will be finally using it in India going back. Can someone please suggest me if the phone works with Indian networks properly.

I assume as long as you buy the GSM version, although I know nothing of the Indian networks.

Assuming you have a GSM network you can get a SIM from in India, it'll work just fine.

Gsm network is there with band 2100mhz, I believe. So essentially it mean that device will support the band without any issuses.

Using it on Vodafone IN with no. problems.

GSM Galaxy Nexus is a world phone pentaband. It works in india. But cannot use verizon 4g phone for indian 4g networks here

I have got my new Galaxy Nexus and it is an amazing phone. After using it for 2 days I found a huge upgrade from earlier iPhone.

[Q] Will the SGH-T989 work on AT&T?

Hi, I'm not sure where to post this....I am currently a T-Mobile customer. We are thinking of going over to AT&T and I was wondering if My phone will work with their service? I think I might have to get it unlocked form TM..but wasn't sure...or could I Root my phone and then it will be usable?
I think the networks are similar, but are the sim cards the same in size?
Does AT&T have the WiFi calling feature? I thought that was strictly a TM thing...
If a moderator feels this should be posted in the AT&T section, feel free to move it there as I don't know where it should have been posted to begin with....

It supports hspa 1900 on AT&T but you will lose WIFI calling as they do not have it.

Will my N7100 handset work in the USA for calls and Data?
I have tried searching but not sure what the answer is. Some people say it is not quad band UMTS or something but is quad band GSM?

Yes it will work in USA. I have used my UK N7100 on at&t

Yes data too. I used straight talk which uses at&t network.

[Q] Note II SHV-E250s

Hi dev,
needed help with SHV-E250S, currently im using a smart telecom (PH) sim, and all i get is 3G, this is a 4G LTE unit, korean note 2, and im wondering why i cant get LTE, simcard and subscription were both LTE but device just have 3G. Im wondering if i need to update rom, but if so i wanted it stock and rooted and where can i get that rom. thanks much

iM using suncell, i got 2-3mbps of mobile speed, im quite satisfied with it, and im using wifi most of the time.
we are on the same firmware and shv e250s which i got for a bargain of 8Kphp in buy and sell websites in ph.

Can you tell me the country you live in.
This is needed because your phone might not support the 4G frequencies used in your country.

thanks, im in the Philippines, not really coz i do have a pocket wifi which suppports LTE and im having no problems with it. it's just that the phone is not picking up
i tried to do some research and found that my model SHV.. caters 1800 and 850 band for LTE, Smart telecom does cater 2100 and 1800, so that means that even if the phone doesnt support 2100, i should be able to get LTE through 1800 band..

i see, right, wifi? had no problems with it too. its just that i cant maximize the capabilities of the phone. btw, are you in manila or visayas region?

From the reviews I saw of people using it in the US they could only use 3G.
So you'll at least have 3G which is fine for travelling.
I don't think it supports any of the LTE bands there.

i just like to confirm that it works with t-mobile 3g..

I have the Mi 6 on T-Mobile and it works fine. I only get HSPA+ though.
