From the reviews I saw of people using it in the US they could only use 3G.
So you'll at least have 3G which is fine for travelling.
I don't think it supports any of the LTE bands there.
i just like to confirm that it works with t-mobile 3g..

Have any of you try to unlock the AT&T Note 8?
I am bringing one to Costa Rica and don't know if it will work with my network provider (ICE), it uses the same band as At&t so band is not a problem.
I search the web and found fastgsm.com they say they have the numbers to unlock it but dont know if that would work? anyone have some experience with that?

LG G3 D855 LTE Does Not Work For Virgin Mobile
I bought a LG G3 D855 for use in Southern Ontario Canada with Virgin Mobile and the LTE here does not work on it if anyone has a way to make it work with LTE here that would be great

The Verizon variant only supports 2 bands of LTE (Band 4 and Band 13). So if your area doesn't have either one of those Bands, you will most likely be stuck on Edge.

Download LTE discovery from the Play Store and it will tell you which band you are utilizing for LTE.
There's an existing 10 page thread about this very topic. All of your questions are likely to be already be answered there.

Im think of buying a SM-T705 to use on the T mobile USA .
I know Lte will not work in the US due to frequency and band limitations, but curious to know if the device get HSPA+, 3g data, and voice calls on tmobile.
Anyone in the US using the SM-T705 on T Mobile? Please post your experiences.

I have a SM-T705 with T-Mobile in the USA. 3g/H+ works great. It is my main phone and voice calls work great. No issues or problems

I am in the states with tmo it works well mainly useing bands 2 and 4
