10R root: Downgrade or update to LP - T-Mobile LG G3

I have a G3 in white running 10r. To get root should I do the downgrade method or do any existing root tools manage to get root on Lolipop? LP is 20b baseband, correct?
EDIT: I just used LG Root Script v1.2 and it worked perfectly. Got root, installed Flashify from the app store and used that to install TWRP 2.8.6.0. Literally the easiest root -- installing recovery on any device ive ever owned

root KitKat

So I finally got the official KitKat uptade from LG for LG-E977 model, and the device will be completely stock. How do I root the device in KK? Towelroot, Framaroot? How do I root and unlock the bootloader after rooting, is it the same as with stock JellyBean? Thanks in advance.
edit: Neither Framaroot neither Towelroot worked, but someone suggested ioroot and it worked fine. Link:

After this, just download SuperSU from Play Store and then Freegee to install stock CWM recovery.

[Q] G pad 8.3 Root problems

I previously rooted my tablet. Then Verizon finally put out 5.0 lollipop update. Now rootchecker, superuser, and other root tools says my tablet isn't rooted but stumproot says it is. I want to reroot my tablet can any one help?
Use LG Flash Tool 2014 to flash the 24A KDZ, use Stump to root, put the bump'd 4.2.2 aboot (bootloader) on and install the loki'd TWRP v2.7.0.1. Upgrade to ClockworkMod Recovery (thread in Development) and then flash my ViKtory810 ROM from my thread listed in my signature below. I haven't updated my ROM OP, I know I say to use TWRP but flashing SuperSU.zip in TWRP and trying to boot 35A_08 (official LG Lollipop) has caused problems for some people that's a little bit of a pain to get out of. My ROM thread has all the rest of the instructions you need once you have custom recovery on there.

Dead sd card after rooting 20A

I updated my bootloader unlocked g4 to MM using lg brigde, and then installed TWRP. I then proceded to root by installing a rooted kernel called STOCK-20A-rooted. Worked fine, but my sd card is now not working. is there a fix for this?
You most likely have installed the wrong kernel. There are two different versions of the 20A stock rom. Search for systemless root, that should work with both versions. You need reflash stock kernel. After I had the same issue, I downloaded flashable zips (by @autoprime) and followed his instructions on how to flash, after this I installed systemless root.

First you have to downgrade it to 10b rom so that you can instal twrp.. After that flash marshmallow rom by xdabeb.... Which is rooted

Stock rooted on 5.1 but want to update to Marshmallow

I am stock rooted right now on 5.1 but want to update to Marshmallow.
What is the easiest method for this?
I did this method originally while on 5.1:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-t3066720
I was going to restore my stock system backup in TWRP and then do the OTA and then do the above procedure again to obtain root.
I wasn't sure if I had to go through this same exact procedure again to go from root in 5.1 to root in Marshmallow or if things have changed.
TIA

Click to collapse
Just use the latest ruu. Doesn't wipe. Flash twrp and supersu afterwards to RE root
