Galaxy Nexus Shipping Quieries

Ordered a Galaxy Nexus last night and i have some questions on the shipping procedures, after purchasing it from the google play store i got the confirmation email and have still not received a shipping confirmation email or any updates of any sort, when i view my order I just get google received order and confirmation email has been sent. I am on vacation in the US at the moment and i am set to go home on tuesday and i am now worried that it wont be here by the time i leave. I ordered it as i thought it would be here easily by tuesday because of the 2 day shipping but i am now starting to worry. Is anyone able to give me some piece of mind on this, would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

You might get tracking information later tonight. If not, they most likely haven't processed your order yet and will ship out Monday.

i ordered mine this monday morning, and i got it friday afternoon. it shipped out on wednesday at like 8pm. tracking info wont update until ups picks it up.

Not looking good for me then, unless they proces the order tomorrow which i doubt and have it ready for shipping on monday and even if it was so the chances of it making it to me by tuesday at 3PM are slim, thanks for the contribution though .

Yea, I ordered mine yesterday the 26th and have not heard anything.They say it may take 2 days to prosses the order. Since UPS does not pick up or deliver on weekends they will probably ship Monday. Google ships from California and I live in Nevada so I am hoping to get mine on Wednesday.

I ordered my nexus on monday evening and received it friday . It took them 2 days to process the order.

If you go looking around the play store, you will find they ask you to wait up to 2 business days to process the order then up to 2 business days for the shipping.
I ordered mine on the 23rd, Mine will be at my mail forwarding address on Monday the 30th.

I ordered mine on the Sunday night(the 29th) and it still just says recieved. I called Google support and the guy told me it takes 3-5 days JUST for processing, then another 2 days to ship. X_X

Ordered mine on the 25th at noon. I didn't get a shipping email till Monday and got it today (7/31)..

Same here. I don't understand why it takes so long to process. I've had eBay items from across the country processed, shipped, and delivered faster. Also, according to UPS, it shipped from Kentucky.

I ordered mine on the 26th of July (Thursday). Immediately got a confirmation email but not a thing more until Monday the 30th. It had a tracking number and was delivered the same day (the 30th).
So it was actually shipped day after I ordered it but didn't get a tracking number until the day it was delivered!

Ordered mine on Saturday, and got the shipping info in two business days and it's already in my area and should arrive in a couple hours

+1 on speedy delivery. Ordered Friday morning, got it yesterday.

I ordered mine on July 31st around 2pm, received it this morning (Aug. 3rd) around 11am. I actually received the shipping info 8am this morning LOL. Talk about a last minute heads up...

Anyone receive their ATT Tracking number yet??

Ordered the phone at a corporate store at 11AM and got the tracking email at 3PM. They shipped it UPS Ground and shows scheduled for delivery on Friday.

ditto on jealousy. I ordered at 7:52AM CT. Hasn't shipped yet and according to reps, it's set for 2-4 day shipping. Hope it ships today for Friday delivery.

Ordered mine just before midnight ET last night, chose the free 2-4 day shipping and will receive it by EOD Thursday. A day before official release. Not bad.

Just got my FedEx tracking number an hour ago. Which means l will get my G3 tomorrow morning. I'm a premier customer, and did not receive free shipping on next day delivery. I did not want to complain and have them cancel or delay my order, but i will contact them on Wednesday after receiving my G3.

Same. Also premiere customer and didn't get free shipping. However, standard shipping was UPS 2nd Day Air anyway so I will be getting it by Thursday (unless they delay it till Friday). Can't wait!

I'm Premier also. I selected 3-5 day because the 2 day shipping showed it was $15 but when I called to ask after seeing its supposed to be free they said that you are supposed to select it and then your account will be credited for the cost. I don't know if you get free overnight but I did see ads/signs for free 2 day for premier. Received some bittersweet news. My order is already processed and waiting for a carrier(FedEx or UPS) to be selected. Yay! They couldn't change the shipping method/time so if I get UPS then I probably wont get my phone until the 5th day at like 8 pm. Boo! Hopefully it comes in tomorrow or Thursday. Fingers crossed.
Update: Turns out it shipped as 2nd day air through UPS.

Just got my shipping confirmation, will arrive tomorrow. Now I get to compare it to my Note 3

No shipping email yet. I guess I ordered too late in the day today. Where is everyone's G3 shipping from? I was hoping they would all ship from local DCs and it wouldn't take as long to get it. I am in Atlanta.
Update: My order has gone to Pending Shipment and lists a Ship Date of 7/8. Maybe I get a tracking number later tonight.

If mine does indeed go out tonight, I am guessing Thursday to Atlanta GA where I'm located. I am Premier and paid the $15 for express shipping. Maybe tomorrow, who knows.

FYI AT&T's distribution HUB is in Texas so all phones will come from there. I am also a premier customer and I didn't get free shipping either. I'll call them after my G3 arrives.

I just ordered mine at Best Buy and won't get it till Friday. I wish I had known about the free 2 day shipping. I'm a premier member and also live in Fort Worth, TX. Man it hurts to miss that one. Lol

I just got notification from Verizon that my Pixel Xl shipped via ups. Strange Usually they ship FedEx. No updates available yet so it means I'll get it on the 20th not they are shipping on the 20th.

I preordered the black 128gb. blue only showed up as 32gb from vzw. 128gb has different shipping dates.

I pre-ordered mine on the 12th and it still shows processing. I even paid for overnight shipping, so maybe they are just waiting to ship it Wednesday

Where did it ship from? I was told the Pixel is being directly shipped from the manufacturer to us, unlike other phones that get shipped to Verizon and then to us...

Weird. Mine is being shipped via FedEx.

My verizon order shipped from Memphis via FedEx. Overnight, tracking is showing up as scheduled for delivery tomorrow 10/19. 128gb black.

Pre-ordered mine for VZ through Bestbuy. Said I will get on 10/20 but my order still says pending. Hope it ships tomorrow.

Welcome to my boat. "Will receive by 10/20" was what my order showed.

Really bizarre guys! My tracking info which updated yesterday says shipping from FedEx out of West Chester, PA. We are VZW customers as well...wondering if it means anything. Scheduled delivery by Thursday night.

Mine shipped out of West Chester PA 10/18 at 9pm, up to Philly 10pm, departed Philly at 2am probably now tracking to Newark DE, out for delivery to the local VZW retailer today in Havre DE Grace MD(store pickup). Delivery scheduled for 10/19 they'll call me when it gets there. I ordered the white 32GB for 10/20 delivery. This is a note 7 return so I'll see if they got any blue 32GB or white 128's delivered to sell from the store. But I should have a Pixel in hand by this afternoon. I'll follow up here after I get it in hand.

I ordered my Pixel 2 XL last week and it was shipped today with a delivery window between 10/18 and 10/19. They sent me an OnTrac tracking number but when I go to the website it shows that the tracking number can not be located. Now I don't know when I need stay home from work if it needs to be signed for. Does anyone know if signature is required for delivery? I ordered from the Google Store. The email they sent doesn't say anything.

Mine is coming the 19th FedEx and says indirect signature required

Do you see that on the email from Google or from the FedEx tracking website?

It's kind of weird cause mine says it's shipping by tomorrow and scheduled to arrive tomorrow or the 19th... my order status hasn't changed and haven't gotten notifications of it being shipped yet, nor an email... getting confused here

If it's scheduled to ship tomorrow you'll get an email tomorrow. Problem for me is it doesn't say if signature is required and my tracking number doesn't work so I don't know what day it'll be delivered.

As someone who is in the business and has personal orders for phones in the past I'm 99% sure it requires a signature because it's a very high value item. Now Idk what your relationship is lo ike with the FedEx guy around your neighborhood but if I call FedEx and tell them I'm leaving a note with a signature on the door with the tracking number, along with authorisation for them to leave it, they will if you'd like

Yeah I've left a note on my door that says "I hereby take responsibility if something happens to my package" signed and dated for them and they left it.

My FedEx email shows no sign required.
Delivery set for Thursday before 8pm.

Thing is they didn't use FedEx to ship my package. They used OnTrac.

It's probably already at FedEx just waiting to be delivered.

Well got mine today that was so quick

Mine got delivered today by OnTrac with no signature needed. Luckily I was in the area during work so I stopped by and grabbed it from the front door before someone else did lol.

I think it said so on the tracking screen before delivery. But look ..

But different carrirrs do things differently. I expected a signature to be required but my phone was delivered to the package room in my complex.

Adding to the responses, my phone purchased from the google store and delivered by Fedex did not require a signature.

Mine is supposed to ship today. Still havent received a shipping email or notification and the google store still shows it's available to cancel. It's 4:06 California time.

I believe it will be dispatched today for delivery tomorrow, I asked Samsung via phone and email, that is what they confirmed to me. Mine also says preparing to despatch and it's 4pm here on Thursday 8th March in the UK

I have ordered 2 one is an upgrade to my s8 plus from last year and the other is a new upgrade program I have taken out. The new one is being delivered tomorrow as Samsung emailed confirming that it has been dispatched. I emailed Samsung customer support a few hours ago asking about my upgrade one and they have just replied saying that they made a mistake and informed me incorrectly that it will be delivered tomorrow and instead they will be shipping it out on the 15th. I have emailed them again complaining and asking for clarification. Yesterday their telephone and email customer service teams both said I would receive it tomorrow. I suggest you all email Samsung too and demand an explanation.

Just had 'shipped' email. My first Samsung. Here we go!

I still have nothing at all.

Mine was dispatched yesterday with Royal Mail 24.
Tracking says it has arrived at my city overnight so hopefully delivery today!
I would prefer to have it delivered before the weekend so I can spend some quality time for initial set up. [emoji846]

ok now they said maybe mon or tue - as its not even been dispatched - this is the same story like last year - and considering this year they had below expections pre-orders vs last year - i would have thought they'd be more organised
what i hate about it is that i took a day off to be home as it said delivered today - now is next week - and is not possible to change delivery address to office - so once again - same bullcrap from Samsung
i just dont understand how a company so big - can not get its **** together and keep on top of their deliveries - why say Ship on 8th - Delivered on 9th and then not even be close to those dates - just tell from the beginning - get it by 14th of March and get over it

Update - my concierge guy just rang me to tell me that they've delivered a parcel from DPD - most likely the phone - that is quite strange as on the tracking page is still showing up as ''awaiating dispatch'' and i had no further emails, tracking numbers or anything from Samsung or DPD about the order
how bizzare !!

DPD, as usually, terrible seevice, my pre ordered S9 went back to depot today as driver managed to put a "we missed you" note in my door next to door bell but did not manage to press the aftomentioned door bell, so I did not know the delivery was there and I was at home.
Tracking was up to date and I got email and text on my phone minute after each status changed.
