Never ordered a phone online before so I was just wondering if Handtec is a trustworthy site?

They tweeted earlier that they have not been able to reproduce the SAV problem. Let's hope this is true.

this clears all my worries about being in the second shipment, i preordered only on thursday. This is the best news ever, I should get the phone by Fri - Sat or Monday at the latest. Good thing the UK doesn't take Thanksgiving off

UPS and FedEx take thanksgiving off though

Are you guys buying us adapters or simply using a charger from an existing phone?

No Saturday delivery..its a higher premium service. Of course, you can call and upgrade for it I suppose.

Just placed an order on Handtecs website. Assuming they finish dispatching all preorders on 22nd and 23rd, hopefully mine ships on the 24th. And since Thanksgiving has passed here in Canada, i hope to receive it by Tuesday or Wednesday next week Total is 440gbp with 2-4day Fedex shipping.
Yes i know the GN will be released here in Canada on Dec8 but im going away on a holiday trip on the 7th and want this shiny new gadget on my hands before the trip

I am from canada also and ordered a shiny new gn, i am expecting to pay something like 100$ for duty fees.

No, as long as the stuff is under $1,000 there is no GST or any other tax.

Anyone had a Galaxy Nexus actually ship from Google Play Store?

I ordered my Galaxy Nexus on Sunday and as of this weekend I still haven't received a shipment notification or tracking number yet my card has been charged already.
I was hoping for Amazon or Apple level service but I guess not. Anyone else who's ordered one recently had it ship yet or is the 2 day shipping they offer only 2 day shipping after 2 days of order processing?

I ordered mine the night it was announced. Got it 2 days later. Ordering on a Sunday is a bad idea. Not only is it the weekend, but they'll have to back process all the other weekend orders as well.

I got mine two days after I ordered. I placed my order on the 24th and it came on the 26th.

I ordered mine Thursday night, didn't receive a "shipped" confirmation until Friday night (a whole day) and it actually didn't ship until this morning.
So you should get a "ship" confirmation sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. It takes a day or two to process. You haven't even waited a day.

Ordered mine on the 24th and it was delivered to me on the 26th..

I ordered mine around 8pm on 4/25 and received it on 4/27. Ordering on Sundays usually delays things a bit.

got mine in 2 days. 2 business days is what theyre promising.

Ordered Tuesday the 26th got it thursday the 28th. It took forever to see the tracking status... well it felt like forever

I got mine 2 days after I ordered.

Ordered mine on Thursday and got it today. If you read the website it takes 4 "business days". So it will probably ship on Tuesday and you will get it Thursday. I'm already rooted rocking aokp on T-Mobile. Bought the same phone on sprint cause I already had sprint, but the network is just atrocious and didn't want to have this awesome phone on their crap network any more. Speeds on T-Mobile are amazing so far.

I was thinking of ordering it from google, but then where I am currently living in (Hong Kong), You can get it at a much cheaper deal by going to a local retail store (fortress). How much did you get your for? I'm going to get mines for around $3000 HKD.

I ordered mine on Saturday, 2AM AST. It would be interesting if I receive it before OP does, since I live in Puerto Rico (note: only difference between mail here and in any of the contiguous 48 states is that the only ground shipping option available would be a diver walking the Atlantic Ocean).
By the way, still haven't even received a shipping notice. That'll hopefully happen tomorrow!

i just ordered my galaxy nexus.
hello everyone, i just ordered my my galaxy nexus from google play for 350.00 , i just wanted to know how long it will take to get it i ordered it yesterday tuesday august 28th and got an email today around 2:30 am, saying my order has shipped and gave me a tracking number. so exactly when will it get here friday or saturday? i know that ups has free 2 day shipping but what i read on google play says that it takes 4 days 2 to process and ups's 2 day shipping. but i read other people got in 3 even 2 days. so if anyone can tell me when it will most likely come, i live in virgina beach virginia if that helps please any answers will be helpful

Galaxy Nexus Shipping Quieries

Ordered a Galaxy Nexus last night and i have some questions on the shipping procedures, after purchasing it from the google play store i got the confirmation email and have still not received a shipping confirmation email or any updates of any sort, when i view my order I just get google received order and confirmation email has been sent. I am on vacation in the US at the moment and i am set to go home on tuesday and i am now worried that it wont be here by the time i leave. I ordered it as i thought it would be here easily by tuesday because of the 2 day shipping but i am now starting to worry. Is anyone able to give me some piece of mind on this, would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

You might get tracking information later tonight. If not, they most likely haven't processed your order yet and will ship out Monday.

i ordered mine this monday morning, and i got it friday afternoon. it shipped out on wednesday at like 8pm. tracking info wont update until ups picks it up.

Not looking good for me then, unless they proces the order tomorrow which i doubt and have it ready for shipping on monday and even if it was so the chances of it making it to me by tuesday at 3PM are slim, thanks for the contribution though .

Yea, I ordered mine yesterday the 26th and have not heard anything.They say it may take 2 days to prosses the order. Since UPS does not pick up or deliver on weekends they will probably ship Monday. Google ships from California and I live in Nevada so I am hoping to get mine on Wednesday.

I ordered my nexus on monday evening and received it friday . It took them 2 days to process the order.

If you go looking around the play store, you will find they ask you to wait up to 2 business days to process the order then up to 2 business days for the shipping.
I ordered mine on the 23rd, Mine will be at my mail forwarding address on Monday the 30th.

I ordered mine on the Sunday night(the 29th) and it still just says recieved. I called Google support and the guy told me it takes 3-5 days JUST for processing, then another 2 days to ship. X_X

Ordered mine on the 25th at noon. I didn't get a shipping email till Monday and got it today (7/31)..

Same here. I don't understand why it takes so long to process. I've had eBay items from across the country processed, shipped, and delivered faster. Also, according to UPS, it shipped from Kentucky.

I ordered mine on the 26th of July (Thursday). Immediately got a confirmation email but not a thing more until Monday the 30th. It had a tracking number and was delivered the same day (the 30th).
So it was actually shipped day after I ordered it but didn't get a tracking number until the day it was delivered!

Ordered mine on Saturday, and got the shipping info in two business days and it's already in my area and should arrive in a couple hours

+1 on speedy delivery. Ordered Friday morning, got it yesterday.

I ordered mine on July 31st around 2pm, received it this morning (Aug. 3rd) around 11am. I actually received the shipping info 8am this morning LOL. Talk about a last minute heads up...

Oh god oh god so excited!!! I have been checking the Sprint my order page multiple times daily since I ordered it last Thursday and now I have a tracking number! It's being delivered by UPS and should be here tomorrow. I can't freaking wait. Good timing too, cause I'm not sure how much longer I could go without smashing my 3D on the ground lol. I had to remove the battery five times today cause it kept locking up on me.

Got mine from Wirefly too...but there is a silver lining (other than the obvious $50), I've got a test on Wednesday that I haven't even started to study for so it's one less distraction for the weekend!

Same thing as wirefly but its cheaper because its their friends and family program. Same company, so its just as credible as Wirefly.com, which is credible depending on whom you ask. Some have good experiences and some have bad experiences.

I'm sure everyone is excited. Digital River's service-level is average at best -- the person answering your email (or rather selecting which script to send you) has no authority to speak to you on a human level. All they see is no stock, hence your email, and that's that.

I'm getting mine from tmobile on monday. before 3pm. i orderd the gold on silver. I wish i order the gunmetal....

Ordered mine Friday morning, but got an email saying it was on back order. Got another email yesterday saying that it should ship Monday.
Got the unlocked one from HTC, full price.

Ordered mine Friday from T-Mobile and just picked it up from UPS this morning. :good:

The funds were on hold at the bank since this AM but they aren't any longer. They didn't take them either.
