FreeGee on my LG Optimus G Pro (Device Model: LG-E989 / Software Version: e98920a)
Good evening, I have a doubt. When I install FreeGee on my LG Optimus G Pro (Device Model: LG-E989 / Software Version: e98920a) shows the message:
Error
Exception thrown wainting for
command to finish
And then immediately appears:
Error
Your aboot is not supported by
loki on software version: E98920a
And if I try to start the Recovery mode the following:
-------------------------------------------------- --------
Secure booting error!
Cause: boot verify certification
-------------------------------------------------- --------
How can I fix this so you can install the CWM12 on my device?

i found 2 major app bugs for U.S.A. users.
The IR blaster for U.S. equipment does not work for many of the equipment ive tried to key in and the alarm has a timing issue where it will not alarm until after about the 3rd snooze. Anyone one else have these issues? I have tried to full wipe flash including cache clearing, up to 3 times with no improvement on these 2 key issues. Anyone find a solution?

Hi I followed the guide of the first video and I ve installed the .zip file with CWM and it said installed, no errors. But when I reboot the phone I dont have any additional apps such as superSU and if I try to open CWM app it tells me "you need root to run this app" so I guess it didnt work.
Previously I tryed to install upd_1.zip(from the xda guide) but error 7 came up during installation.
I also tried universal_gb_v25.zip(from the xda guide) and it installed with no problems but CWM app tells me "you need root to run this app" so I guess it didnt work.
I tested the root with rootValidator and it says you don't have root.
I'm running Android 2.3.5 and model name is GT-S5830 (debugging is on)
I can't find the problem and any other method to root.. Can somebody help me please?
(so weird, i reply another title, but my reply was shown at this title)
hi,
may i know the why we need to install Android Software Development Kit (SDK) ??
AFAIK , we only need Android USB Drivers of Samsung Kies + ODIN +OPS to flash the Stock ROM.
and the step to root and unroot (androind 2.2 or 2.3.x) , the phone read the update file directly from the SDCARD.
I have no experience with Flash Custom Revory and Custom Rom yet, but from the fisrt post of this thread, seems that they don't need Android SDK too.
Hope this thread is still alive,
I used KingoRoot to root my Ace. Super fast and easy!

I have gt-s5570 and is hard bricked... I can use only emergency dload mod (arm9 mode) and i cant unbrick! What to do??
Did you try to flash original rom via odin?

Uregently need stock recovery zip or file from flashify for Galaxy tab Pro 8.4
As I've said in the title I've made a silly mistake and installed twrp without backing up my stock recovery. I now need stock recovery once again and i would really appreciate it if anyone with root access could download flashify and post their backed up recovery file here.
Thank you so much
I have the stock recovery that I made using Flashify , but am unsure of were the file is stored so I can share it with you.

knock on feature loss after twrp install?
RacerBoy said:
Autorec works with ZVE, I just did mine today. I did have the problem with white lines on waking the screen which was fixed by flashing another kernel. Try this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-g2/general/ls980-zve-ota-zip-update-zvc-zve-t2912488/page18
If you don't already have root stump using their brute force option works with ZVE.

I am on zve and still with stock recovery. I have tried to install twrp recovery before and did the white line fix and all was working well until I realized that I lost the knock on feature. does anyone know of a fix for this? I really want to start tweaking the rom but I can do much with out twrp because I don't want to have to keep lg flashing from the start every time I mess it up. my phone is the sprint lg g2 LS980ZVE stock rom currently with 200 app frozen with app quarantine. thanks for any input.
There are newer twrp releases that have a working knock. I just use AutoRec it's a TeamWin Recovery worth it no question. ?

E980 confirmed working.

There's no limits in installing ROMs in Secondary slots. Just install anything you just want to flash.
But you should install kexec-supported ROM or Kernel in just Primary Slot.

Using the E980 version of BlissPop with the oxykernel as my primary rom, I have successfully installed multiple roms. Choose install to internal memory, your file will almost certainly be a .zip file, as I've seen no dedicated multirom images yet. This means, of course that the twrp multirom version for E980 works, as
well. On a couple of occasions, I've had twrp close unexpectedly to a black screen, at the end of rom installation. You may need to reboot into recovery via hardware keys (Power button plus volume up) So far, it seems pretty flexible and forgiving.
No Second Slot
i CAnt get the second slot either in blisspop 3.2 nor in cm 12.1 with oxygen kernel just seethe primary slot named internal. what do ido pls suggest . Thanks .Waiting for ur reply
Using f240l kitkat stock
Stupid idea!
That was probably very stupid idea! If I saw this thread would not do such mistake!
So...after that I flash my LG G Pro with LG Flash Tool on KDZ Firmware LG G PRO F240 K update was canceled (at 96%) because error. Then I'm disconnect the phone from PC and remove the battery from phone and try again the same steps as before. Since then my phone is total dead (no power; no battery; battery is not charging; etc.). ((
