Kernel for tw 4.4.4 - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

I'm currently running Insane Hybrid which is a tw based 4.4.4 rom & the hispasia kernel is causing my phone to run really hot. It's never done that before so I'm wondering is there another compatible kernel I can run with my current setup?

Can I use a custom kernel on the stock HTC Rom?

I really like being rooted and I used cyanogenmod 7 release candidate for at least a week and I missed stock so I flashed it back. I really don't know much about kernels, so I was wondering if a custom kernel would work on the stock Rom and change much of it?
Yes. You need a Sense based kernel.

I would recommend Lou's #8 or Chads, both run great on stock roms.
This one is nice and stable

[Q] Perseus kernel

I'm running cleanrom 4.9 on my n7105 note, it's unreal! Best battery life every but it's the first rom I've flashed and I want to know if I can use the Perseus kernel with this rom safely? I just want to have the option of running my memory card as my internal memory.
Thanks,
Sam.
Hi,
If it's a TouchWiz based ROM, Perseus kernel will work.
Yes without any hiccups will run

You should have no problems using it. I tried it with a couple difference ROM's and had no problems with it.

XDA sr member Rushing came up with the most stable rom for this phone I have ever used called Shadow ROM v 1.5 you can search the forums here for more info, there's even a YouTube video from Galaxys2root that features it. It is a super light weight rom that has long battery life and tweaks to the stock kernel. its incredibly stable as it's based off the stock T Mobile rom, but it's deoxed and debloated. Currently only runs version 4.1.2 but would highly recommended this rom. 666 is the evil version, 1000 is the clean version that keeps all the stock boot animations and sounds

Stock OTA Android 4.4.2 Rom

Is there a Stock OTA Android 4.4.2 Rom out yet?
CM 11 nightly freezes up 2 or 3 times a day. Battery dies faster. I don't care for the keyboard or dialpad. The one thing I do like about the CM11 rom is that it doesn't block my tethering like the old stock rom.
I agree with you. I like CM11 also but for my daily driver I need something more stable. I'm running Wicked Rom V5. it's 4.3.

Slim is very stable for me. MyRom is also running great as well if you want to stick with TW.

My phone hasn't frozen yet. 1) CF-Auto-Root, 2) TWEAKED rom, and 3) the XPosed framework.
Next up is Crossbreeder and I've already got Ad Away blazing badvertisements away so ultimately I am very happy.
To answer your question, there is nothing currently 4.4.2 for the Tmobile Note 3 that will be 100% stable. No CM build is 100% there, and there is no Tmobile source code available to build a kernel that won't reboot or lock up on you.
Temasek's CM 11 rom is completely stable.
No force closes, no random reboots.
Completely perfect.
Been my daily driver for weeks.

Multi-rom

Well I have gotten everything compiled and mostly working for multi-rom. The newest plasma kernel is compatible for aosp roms but I dont have a tw kernel compiled yet. Also wifi does not work on any rom but primary. The wifi issue also exists on the builds for n7100/n7105 so it is most likely an issue with the device files.
Hopefully over the next few days I can get wifi issue fixed and get a kernel compiled for tw roms. Plan is to use shift kernel so both tw and aosp will run with one kernel.
