Thanks

Try inkredible. Not 100% guaranteed but with their optimizations they say it is
FYI our tabs don't have a wacom digitizer so I guess palm rejection is out of the question via hardware it all comes to software which would be difficult

Ah cool, thanks!
I will try that out.
Yup i knew the S Tab doesn't have a pen digitize like Wacom or N-Trig which is a shame especially for the premium price you pay.
Damn evernote doesn't have software palm rejection. haha

Yeah well that's life you can't have em all.
Well at least they got Palm acceptance

Interested in Knowing About Next S-Pen

Samsung galaxy note 3 is about 4 months away. So far there hasnt been any confirmations from samsung of what it will be, hence putting the hardware aside. All I am interested to know is the future of S-pen. Can anyone predict of how the new spen will be? What will be its core functionality. I want to know how far samsung can go with this technology?
I hope someone has the answer

As far as I know they're just using Wacom's hardware and adding their own software features. I wouldn't expect anything new other than the size/shape and maybe a few new features. Maybe they'll integrate an eraser into the opposite end like a few of Wacom's styluses.

Until it is actually released, no one can answer your question. We can guess, (and hope) but not answer.

Does Wacom Fineline work on Tab S?

Hello folks I recently bought the tab S and trying to find some decent stylus for artwork and writing. wacom's fineline came to my mind, and was wondering if fineline works fully with palm rejection and 1024 pressure levels. Thanks in advance!

Been wondering the same thing. I haven't tried the Z Pen, but it's a bit pricey to take a chance with, even if I plan on trying to get a few years out of this tablet. Did you ever find anything?

That's too bad, but thanks for the quick reply.
Crud...Came hoping to find an answer to this question, too. The z-pen bites completely.
Offset is ridiculous, pressure sensitivity is really shoddy, and actual note taking and or drawing is as bad as if I was using one of those rubber-nubbed capacitive stylii that come bundled free with pretty much everything.
I love the tablet itself, but this stylus is a joke. I just can't afford to throw money at replacements unless I know they work. Almost makes me wish I still had my Note Pro 12.2...

i gave up some time ago, sorry mate ..but if you find something let me know thank you
Ya, I paid the high price for the Asus Pen and it broke..
Anyone find an alternative? The pen six for many reasons, including the holding clip is cheap and breaks easily.
I've got a Lenovo Pen for my convertible laptop but I've not tried it on my tablet. To be honest I didn't even think of it until I saw this thread. I'll give it a try because the Lenovo pen is really nice. Should I try and special apps etc? I'm on stock ROM and don't think I'll be rooting this device for a while.

told you so, i for my part will never buy anthing again from asus.
I got the watch the tablet and both are garbage.
I only messed with it for about 10 minutes before I went to my sons basketball game. I'll try again when I have more time to mess with it but I don't think it's going to work. BTW - The Lenovo pen works great on my laptop.

Question Stylus Pen for Pad 5

Hi,
Do you know of a pen alternative that works well for the Pad 5 ?
There are capacitive pens that work.
I don't think there is one that has the same features as the official pen

Ok, thanks for response
My understanding, ( quite a few, since this tab give me HUGE headache esp the latest, the stylus prob) there are none compatible with tab5. Since the make the BT sw closed aka Ipad, so we had no choice so far. Those claimed Universal are NONE so far proved useful esp if you doing Drawing on tab. My suggestion is to get the Mi Pen ,if u really wants the best out of your experience.
But please,if really there are any stylus proven useful on tab5, lets others know, since u know how ridiculous the price is right??
Peace Out

Question Any good app to make the tablet stylus only while taking notes?

Hi everyone. I use my tablet with the stylus to take notes at college. It's been great, with some minor but notable inconveiences about palm rejection being a bit wobbly. Is there any good app to make the tablet stylus only when I decide it? TIA

I'm using Penly, it's pretty good
i am using touchnotes, it is really good in the free version,
it has many features and an one time purchase for the premium features.

thanks for the answers. for taking notes I use Nebo, and it's great, but what I am looking for is not a note taking app, but an app to turn the tablet into an "stylus input only" device, to prevent palm rejection with the stylus being wobbly. Something like that. It's confusing, I know. But thanks anyway
Hey, I tested many apps and I can tell that the best ones are xodo and notewise.
I think that xodo is the best on Android but is damn expensive with their monthly subscription ; fortunately, the free version is more than enough. Notewise is cheap with a one time small payment and has an amazing UI but has less features than xodo. And the free version of notewise is limited to 3 notes so if you're planning to using this one you'll have to pay it.
The one that works best for me was Flexcil, although the free version kinda sucks, the paid version is a beast like no other

+1
try also "MyScript Nebo" it has pencil support
Of course you can go for touchnotes or jnotes, they both have all features you imagine but till now, touchnotes is more stable with stylus pen, and cheap if you want to pay one time.

I don't think is possible what you want,. The pen touch part is the same digitizer for hand touch, yet different parts of the same driver, even you can inhibit the hand touch in the driver by adding a routine to disable at will the hand touch, your hand will still touch the digitizer/screen inducing touch events over the pen input, maybe you should ask Xiaomi MIUI developers to fix their drivers instead of finding a way to workaround that.
