joder, gracias tio, me tenia loco el maldito aviso
thanks man, i appreciate your work
Hi,
I need to take the Moto G to the service beacuse the microphone is bad and I need to lock the bootloader and reflash the original firmware. Now can I flash the original firmware except the modified logo.bin to not see that warning with unlocked bootloader ?
Basic I take the original full firmware and flash it with fastboot and flash the modified logo.bin and lock bootloader, can I do that ?
Beacuse with locked bootloader only Motorola signed images can boot and I don't know if the modified logo .bin is still signed by motorola.
I know that in bootloader mode is status code 2 but guys from this service are just noobs and If I am lucky they will give other Motorola phone smile emoticon
Thanks
You will not be able to lock the bootloader with a modded boot logo installed so they are going to know either way.
Your efuse has been blown when you unlocked the device, they have records on the device that you have requested for a unlock code. Just speak nicely to the service rep and see what is said.
I have android 4.4.4 in my Moto G does this works with the manual method (flashing with fastboot) ??
Thanks

The "logo.bin" file was not extracted from 5.0.2.
It contains this text:
"This Boot logo was created with "Motorola Boot Logo Maker 2.2.0916.0053" written by CaitSith2"
Does anyone have an original / UNTOUCHED logo.bin file?
Works perfectly on CM 12, Lollipop 5.0.2, TWRP.
Thanks!
This works perfectly fine with xt1033 asia retail umtds.
Thanks.........
Can you make the dark edition..oo ots just shiny white
For anyone else who finds this later on Google like me and you just want to use fastboot but didn't know how:
boot into fastboot on the phone (phone off, hold power and volume down, then plug in USB).
put the logo.bin file in your Android\android-sdk\platform-tools folder
shift-rightclick in the folder and choose "open command windows here"
type "fastboot flash logo logo.bin" without quotes and hit enter.
restart phone
and bootanimation please? use nx rom 9.5.2
Can I use this (with fastboot) to flash it to a device which has the kitkat bootloader but running lollipop?
.::EDIIT::. Works, had to give it a try, it works normally, message is gone.
Working on cm 12.1! :good:
Worked on my CM12.1, but the long vibration that accompanied that warning message is still there. :/ I can live with that though.
there's no new bootlogo from Moto G 2015? different at this or is the perfectly the same?

you should try to push the correct build.prop via the adb. then all should work. and don't put OPEN in build.prop you should put spr (small letters)

you still have custom recovery? if yes, adb side load sprint rom from the sprint development section, then flash it (make sure it flashes successful) Now, your phone should be a sprint g2 again. Now try flashing stock sprint rom via lg flasher tool. It should work now.

updating through lg flasher tool, will not work. Because, it would think your lg isn't a sprint one anymore. so, first check if you have root, then flash custom recovery via this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449670
then, once you have custom recovery, flash an sprint rom from sprint development section. Also, to do this you need basic ADB knowledge which isn't that difficult.

This is a flashable zip, works in custom recovery like Philz, TWRP
or you can do this manually, just extract logo.bin where the fastboot and adb files are
connect the phone to the computer via micro usb, open the folder where the logo.bin file and fastboot/adb files are
open the command prompt in that directory and use the following commands
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot reboot

Nexus images

Hmm it might have been done already... All it is, is the Google logo in white on a black bg.. I think its standard for Nexus devices.. Ive just never seen it resized for moto g...
but why do you want a google bootlogo on a moto device? plus the boot animation has the white background with the globe and water ripple effect.
it wouldnt really match.
True ... I am using quarx cm it uses the android l boot animation... I tried to flash the stock moto boot animation on this but results in black screen... No animation
thanks. should work great with material design. probably the best bootlogo so far for moto g.

Hi everyone.
Here's my build of TWRP for P6S-U06.
Features:
Supports USB OTG, so you can use USB flash drive as external storage for backups, zip installations.
Because device doesn't support external SD card, I've added feature to make backup of internal storage (to USB flash of course).
Combined with stock EMUI 3.1 recovery. In case of power-on by holding power + vol+ or rebooting into recovery by command or any 3rd part application: will boot in TWRP. In case of local update, OTA-update, "force update" (3buttons method) or factory reset: will boot into EMUI recovery.
Off-mode charger updated from EMUI 3.1
custom.bin and cust symlinks are saved/restored (if they were exist) in case of Wipe/Format Data. So there not gonna be "cust" issues after factory reset in TWRP.
Requirements:
Unlocked bootloader
Android 4.4.2 - 5.1.1
Installation:
Reboot in fastboot mode
Flash image via fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash recovery TWRP_Recovery-3.0.3-0.img
fastboot reboot
From TWRP: Press "Install" and select zip-archive
Notes:
Because internal storage is not a separate block device and just a subfolder of "userdata" partition, before you can make backup/restore of internal storage, first you should do Mount -> Data.
It will not work on P6, it's for P6S only.
Download: TWRP_Recovery-3.0.3-0.img
For TWRP: TWRP_Recovery-3.0.3-0.zip
Previous:
Download: TWRP_Recovery-3.0.2-0.img
For TWRP: TWRP_Recovery-3.0.2-0.zip
Download: TWRP_Recovery-3.0.0-0.img
For TWRP: TWRP_Recovery-3.0.0-0.zip

No, it will not boot.
THANK YOU !!!
Tell you my story : a week ago i bought a P6S-U06 from aliexpress. It came with the 4.2 system. Interesting was that there was no update , not by wifi nor by Hisuite.
And i wanted to update to 4.4 And i try all kind of recoveries and boot.img untill i bricked it.... Actually i got the bootloader locked and i can not flash anytrhing anymore.....
Now i bought a second P6S-U06 that came with 4.4 . Thanks to your twrp, now i have twrp on my phone.
Please help me also with a nice kernel and a nice rom. I found some stuff on 4pda forum but i do not know russian and i cannot make an account to download .
If you do not want to post here, please send them in privat.
Once again , THANK YOU !!!
My phone is now TWRP with P6S-U06V100R001C17B606 .
Hi .I have 2 P6S-U06 . Both of them 4.4.2 In one of them i flashed thru fastboot and twrp works perfect.
The other one simply does not accept that. see attached picture .
I forced it installing Flashify . I wrote the recovery with it. After reboot, the leds start blicking red and green and after that a screen appears saying something happened sith my boot, press power button for 6 seconds. I turn off the phone , restart it, it boots to system but stock recovery...
How is this possible ?
WHat can i do ?
Also is there a 5.1.1 image that can be updated as update.app in dload folder ?
V350AWM30e.zip (3.7GB)
I pulled the stock unmodified slot partitions from a fully updated AT&T V35.
I modified them with Magisk and TWRP, and disabled Dm-Verity and ForceEncrypt
I flashed them to another V35AWM that had previously been crossflashed with V350ULM 20f.
Now I stock rooted Android 10 working nicely on my main driver.
I can think of several ways to flash the partitions:
• Using ADB in TWRP (what I did)
• Using ADP from a running rooted system
• One by one with QFIL
The archive includes the unmodified partions, the modified partitions, the packages that I used to modify the partions, some notes, and a script that I used to flash them in TWRP.
If I were doing it again from the start, I would not cross flash, because there are differences in the partition tables. Despite what the guides say, I think that the bootloader can be unlocked from Android 9 or 10, using QFIL. I think that this would work: enable bootloader unlock in developer settings,, flash the engineering bootloader with QFIL, wipe laf, unlock with fastboot, flash the modified boot.img with QFIL, boot into recovery, flash the other partitions from there.
These files are for developers only. You can easily brick your phone and I won't help.
Thank you for this!
amazing
let's hope something useful comes to the end user
Thanks so much for putting this together. Should I anticipate any issues doing TWRP ADB sideload coming from a Korean rom?

Thanks for the fast reply here and in a DM. For anyone new to windows 11 like me, if you try to download from any website that doesn't have that S in it (http vs https), it will not let you download. After a quick google, you can still download from places like this by right-clicking on the download and selecting "keep this".
You can also click on the lock icon in the url bar and then going to permissions and selecting the option to download unsecure content from this website.
Cheers.
