Hi
I got my Moto360 two weeks ago and started making watchfaces.
I decided to use Intellicom Watchmaker, because I feel like my faces with Facer consume a lot more power.
Let me know what you guys think, I'm unsure if they are good or not...

Looks nice...can u share the "pakachu inside" wallpaper used?
no problem:

I can not click/download the faces on that website? Something wrong with my chrome?
afaik its only downloadable in the app.
I made a xouple new ones, this is my favorite:
"Solar System"
Mars is for minutes, Jupiter for hours.
I like it, because at first sight no one knows how the hell you know what time it is.

Are you buying one? If yes could you share the points that you think matters for you to own one?
Thanks
I'm definitely considering buying one, or at least asking for it for Xmas if I don't get around to buying it. I've kind of been wanting to get a watch anyways and this brilliant little device would be a nice watch and great for seeing what messages friends are sending to me while I'm working. I'm also an accessory whore so theres that as well. Why buy a fancy watch when I can get something that connects right to my phone and does much more than tell me the time
If it isn't astronomically priced I would consider getting one. Sony made an older bluetooth watch that is still available on ebay for a fairly high amount though.
I amuse myself with the thought of kids in school being able to check their text messages / social networks from their watch. I would have.
I have one since yesterday but display wont work, battery wont load,so bad.
Send it back.

Yes, it's difficult to get the phone to a backpack when riding the motorcycle.
Tomorrow I get my Liveview . I also think I will have problems with the battery. I will explain.

I'm actually thinking of buying this one too. regarding battery life, right now I have my x10 connected to my mbw-150 and IS800 and so far my phone lasts a day, granted I only wear them when I go out which is like 6 or 7 hours a day.
6 hours are the normal battery time for the liveview device!

6 hours battery life is putting it a little low. Got mine since Friday 19th and have been using it since.
The battery holds for about 14 hours with on and off (regular) usage.
But as with all new devices, you'll probably drain that thing dry in about 5-6 hours, since you will be fumbling it all the time.
But as time goes and you'll use it normally, you should see a days worth of usage from the thing.
What concerns me, personally is the stability of the Software.
I don't know, how much is the apps fault (fixable), or that of the device (I've read no mention of it being update-able).
I already wrote SE for a statement on the matter.
As it is now, the device regularly quits working.
It wont go further then showing you the watch (time and date).
Nothing else.
After turning it off and on again, it automatically connects again and works though (taking about 10 seconds and two button presses).
With that behavior it's quite unreliable for notifications (it's main purpose).
I hope, SE can somehow fix that.
Got mine from ldlc.com
work nice.
But I'm a little bit disapointed with my mw600 now. I don't understand why the LiveView can display my contact name and my music title and the mw600 not ....
Dear All Thanks for the application
can anybody post the other 7 applications for live view since i dont have the android market in my x10 mini pro
apprecaite......
Can anybody please provide the updated version of liveview.apk?
Thanks, Sigi

MBW-150????!! i have that watch and i couldnt make it work like should be, its there any apk like in WIMO for it to works???
Saw this new product on Motos blog. It's a digital tattoo. It works like a skip except you stick it to your are or any other body part you want. They come in a pack of 10 and will stick for 5 days under normal conditions (including showering, swimming, and activities that will build up a sweat). They are being sold by a company called Vivalnk and it is $9.99 for the pack. Waiting for mine to arrive. Once they do I'll post back about my experience. For those that want to try it here is the link to the blog post and a like to the website.

Been using it now for two days and it works great. It is still sticking through two showers and two days of sweating. However, unlike the skip you do need to turn the screen on first to unlock, but that is a non issue. So far I've gotten a few looks at why I am pressing my phone to my arm, but it doesn't bother me. The Digital Tattoo has saved me a lot of time unlocking my phone over the last two days and has made it easier than trying to unlock via my Skip. They say it should stick for five days. I'm going to see how long I can go before it starts to peal off. I'll post an update when it does.
Update:
I officially got 8 days out of my first tat. It started to peel and got a little crinkled. Now it will no longer unlock my phone. I would guess the average is 5 days. As they said it is dependant on your skin type and your activities. I have to say I think 8 days is pretty good. It lasted through showers, exercise, and work. Will be putting the next one on and see if I can get 8+ days out of it.
Works great. Wife calls me a nerd, though. I can live with that.
Cool concept, but couldn't a simple NFC tag accomplish the same thing? This makes me think of a Bio-Hacking article I just read where the person had implanted a small NFC tag into the webbing of their hand... That way the phone would unlock every time you pick it up!

An NFC tag or even a skip could be used, but the Digital Tattoo is all about quick and easy access.
Nothing quicker than just picking up your phone...
Cool but useless for now...
I think something like that NFCRing (.com) would be much more convenient.
Hey everyone,
Admittedly I was one of the first to get the Galaxy Gear watch when it first came out, and before Samsung made it a shiny turd with tizen. One of the things I do miss about it was an app to make watch faces from your phone, and send them. Does anyone know of such a thing for the Moto 360?
Thanks!
Facer is a popular one and there are several threads in the Themes and Apps section with dozens of faces already.

Also, Beautiful Watches is another in the playstore that just opened up custom faces I believe.

Hey guys, i've seen that nobody here talked about asteroid os, i've tried this today
anyone here have ever seen this alternative OS to android wear?
https://asteroidos.org/screenshots/
On the installation section it is available for our smartwatch 3, looks promising!
What you think about it?

I´ve checked their web page. Other than open source and privacy, I don´t see what it brings to the table android wear doesn´t yet have, even if the watch doesn´t get updated to wear 2. I actually assume that you have to go with whatever this OS has built in rather than having all the possibilities of watch faces and apps on android wear.
I´m coming from a Pebble steel and a Pebble time steel, but owned a moto 360 briefly. While the Pebble had its own "playstore" and was fairly customizeable, I was still stuck with some of Pebble´s decisions (like when they decided the up button must call the health screen instead of what you wanted). I did like the android wear when I tried it (for about a month), but the 360 didn´t last me a full day, so this was a no go.
I´ve since ordered the Sony SW3 and hope it´ll work out to a day or two for a charge. I´m sure I´ll like it with wear, even if I should get stuck with the current build. And btw., having the watch connected to my phone running on my google account anyways, I don´t quite see the point of having a more privacy oriented OS for the watch.
But these are only my 2 cents. Any software development is good, and maybe it grows to be a viable alternative to android wear. Right now, I think it´s not for me.
Yea i agree with you, i'm happy with android wear for the moment
But it's good to see that some people is developing custom roms for smartwatches, hopefully in the future we will see something like CyanogenmodOs for our smartwatches
There's currently a very promising watch financed via crowd funding. It runs asteroid, has 4 days of battery life, AMOLED screen and even a camera!!!
Check it out and back this thing. 19 days left!!

I just purchased my first ever smart watch and did I make a good choice? I'm not a fitness junkey so this will be more of a watch/notification watch. Any tips that you guys have will greatly be appreciated.
Perhaps not. Samsung have made the watch half useless if you intended to just use it as a daily watch to get your call notifications. Not so long ago, all Samsung Gear S3 and Galaxy Watch users stopped receiving incoming Skype and Whatsapp call/video call notifications on their watches. I took the issue to Samsung personally and I got told this fairytale that their watches have never been receiving such notifications. As a long-time user of their watches, I know that to be a load of hogwash. So, up to you but I'd recommend returning it and get something else. It's not like receiving those notifications isn't a core function of the watch, or something. In fact, it's sometimes the only reason any of us buy it in the first place. It's also a function that any other watch can do effortlessly.

I currently have the s9 and yesterday I ordered the galaxy watch and the iconx(2018) headphones together. It only made sense to order everything Samsung. But if you're suggesting returning the product, what would you recommend getting?
I know you mentioned you're not a fitness fanatic but I'll just throw this one at you, try the Fitbit Ionic. It does the important stuff and it looks good. I say that with hesitation because 'looks' becomes subjective, however, technically the watch functions rather well and excels in some areas.

I have the galaxy watch now after having previous versions. I get Skype and WhatsApp notifications. I think the access to calls texts and emails is great. One thing you will have to search for is watch faces that have what you need on the watch face to make them easy to access.
I dont use Skype and wouldn't touch Whatsapp so I can't comment on those. Stair climbing has never worked because of the 10 ft algorithm Samsung uses but the rest of the fitness functions and GPS on my Galaxy are right on. I use them multiple times a week at the gym and they're spot on. My heart rate will match with the machines always within 1 or 2 bpm. The only thing I compare it to is my previous Fitbit and my wife's Fitbit. Fitbit makes crap and I'll never buy their junk again. Their fitness trackers are a joke so before you buy, make an account there and read through their community posts.

Is there a way to get free watch faces kinda like paid apps for free?

Yes, there are plenty of free watch faces on Galaxy Apps and if you don't find what you want you can try apps like facer or watchmaker, plus if you want it you could use the Galaxy Watch Designer app on your pc to make your custom watch faces.

I would say that it's something only you can answer.
For me the galaxy watch is great because it fits all my needs.
I get all the notifications I really need from work, family and friends and I can answer them but it's mostly calls, emails and WhatsApp messages(I do check out the notifications from social media but only to see if It can be interesting to check on the phone or pc).
It also tracks all the workout I do and I can store all the music I need for it so I can go out and do it without any need of my phone.
I know people that need less things from a smartwatch and could do fine with a less expensive one from any other brand, meanwhile other people need or want to use some apps that don't work great with a Samsung watch and choose either a android or apple watch to make it work better with the phone they have.
You should check what you want from a smartwatch and look if a Samsung watch is really what suits your needs.
Feel free to ask more things if you want.
I had several different models. S3 was too big for my hand and stopped working three times. In addition, Samsug's heart rate measurement is bad, you can not measure the heart rate and walk. FitBit is great for fitness but is ugly. There is not too much apps, you can not personalize the watch too much. Some activities recorded only after 10 minutes. My husband has a Garmin tactix and that's the best watch I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the watch is too big for my tight hand. The battery is much better, heart rate measurement is more precise, sleep tracking is better.... I'm impressed
The 1 problem I had with all other watches was i couldn't go all day on a charge with everything turned on.
This one does. Nuff said. For that, it's worth it.
