Looks like watch makers are not too happy with people coping their designs. I wonder what that will mean for the xda forums? Will they decide that these are classed as warez?
No matter what happens, the watch faces are not "warez." Warez is illegally distributed software that is available for purchase.
These are being taken down because they use the logos and brand names, and copy the design of patented and copyrighted watches. The brand owners have a right to complain, although it really is ridiculous at this level. What will likely happen, and is happening on FaceRepo.com and to some level in XDA already, is links will be pulled for specific brands that send the C&D letters.
They are gone either way

You are correct, me for one, after NOT wearing a watch for the past 35 years..I own one black 360, just ordered a "champagne" colored model, couple days ago..would have NEVER worn a watch again, (conventional)..

I pretty much stopped wearing one when mobile phones became mainstream. Didn't see the point when you could just check the time on your mobile.
I can't stop wearing my 360 now though.

dont use facer, however will these images work with watchmaker?
WatchMaker will import Facer files. So yeah, they will work. Doesn't go the other way though, Facer won't import WatchMaker files.

I always used to wears watches. When I got the OG Droid, I slowly started wearing them less and less. Ended up selling them all a year later. They'd become useless because I just checked my phone for the time. Now, I love the Moto 360. It has me thinking about buying real watches again, but then I realize how limited their function is and see the price compared to this. I think it's ridiculous that they're sending cease and desist letters. If someone is confusing a Moto 360 for a Rolex, then they are a moron and wouldn't be buying a Rolex anyways.
Thanks for sharing.... It's also a real shame that the one guy stopped sharing his nice watch faces on the website. Sounds like he got into it with someone.

I got my Moto360 two weeks ago and started making watchfaces.
I decided to use Intellicom Watchmaker, because I feel like my faces with Facer consume a lot more power.

I've search this topic to no end so forgive me if an answers is tucked away in some lost dark corner. I love the S health app on my Galaxy note 5 however I wanted to eco system of Android wear so I went with the second gen Moto 360. There are a couple of things I would like to find out or maybe spark one of you talented developers to create.
1. can we trick, hack, port or whatever the moto 360 to record data into S health, even if it's via a middle man app?????
2. Same question but for weight watchers who is partnered with fitness bands only, is there a way to trick integration?
S health is by far the best and most robust health/fitness tracking app out there, it is a damn shame they lock it down to their Tizen watches that have basically no apps.

I had my black Huawei watch since lunch and love it. I would not want any other Android wear smart watch on the market. That said, I can't help but wonder what is next for Huawei and when we are going to see a 2nd generation watch. I personally can not wait!

No info about Huawei plans but there are rumors Google is about to make 2 in-house watches themselves which could be interesting for many.

Just picked up a Huawei Watch 2 as my first dabble with a smart watch. Most things seem fairly self explanatory but neither Google Fit or the Huawei apps seem to be tracking steps unless I have my phone on me and that is moving also. Fit isn't counting anything though. That can't be right surely? What am I missing here?
