Hi all. I just bought my Moto 360 less than a week ago and I've been having plenty of fun learning the ins and outs of this device. Not that I've gotten use to things, I would like to know what apps you guys may be using that are useful and productive for the 360 and Android Wear. What I will try to do is keep a running list of the apps you guys mention by adding them to the OP with a brief description of what they do and the link to where to get them. Thanks in advance and I can't wait to see what you guys are using.

Not that I know of but that's not to say that there isn't one out there. That's why I started this post, to get those unknown apps that others may be using or know of, out there. If I find or hear of one, I'll be sure to post it here.

The full version has Wear support for the statusbar shortcuts which can be assign with any action (remote on your pc, or on your smartphone).

The screen will remain ON all the time, but a built-in feature protect it from bur-in and marks
It's also customomisable to match every position and wear watches !

I've decided to start this thread because like others I'm always looking for new Applications & Widgets for my device. With the massive amount of Application releases each day it's quite time consuming to constantly keep up to date let alone test out each of these.
With that said, what are some Applications / Widgets you simply cannot live without? Those that look good on the homescreen / lockscreen / etc.
If you'd like to include a screenshot with your post as well that'd be great, let's build a good list for people who aren't familiar with all the Applications the Android Market has to offer!
--
With that said I'd have to put Poweramp in the list, it's simply the best Application for music with a ton of options.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.maxmpz.audioplayer.unlock
(Currently on sale in the market this weekend for $1.99 as opposed to the $4.99 normal price tag)
Hmm... I'd have to say mClock for the aesthetics and simple calendar widget for functionality and aesthetics. And Android pro Widgets rule too...

Quite simple really...
1.) Just download the image you want to look up.
2.) Edit that image to crop out unnecessary details.
3.) Upload that image to Google Image Search.
4.) Profit.

Sure. Here you go. I edited the Mario one so that there is more black space to align with homescreens properly. Added an extra one for fun. These images aren't mine... I found these on the "post your homescreen thread" here at XDA.
Just started using WidgetLocker these past few days, seems it's transitioned into more of a stable application for the Nexus. I'm having no noticeable lag at this time.
WidgetLocker Lockscreen
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker
My must-have apps/widgets would be:
BeWeather Pro - very nice weather app with an assortment of widget sizes that can be skinned via BeWeather skins OR Beautiful Widget skins.
PlayerPro - Music app that I absolutely love. Has a fantastic GUI, great sound quality and the dev is very responsive. I've tried just about every music app out there and this is one fits my musical needs best.
XiiaLive - Awesome internet radio station app that plays Shoutcast stations. Use this to blast my internet dance radio stations through my car stereo while having my Gnex paired to it via Bluetooth).
Equalizer (by Smart Android Apps) - Great EQ app that I use to have equalized sound in the various music apps on my phone (PlayerPro, Google Music, XiiaLive, Digitally Imported, etc.).
CarHome Ultra - Fantastic app that takes care of the problem of Samsung taking forever-and-a-day to release their stupid official car dock for the Gnex by having the option to automatically put my phone in car mode when my phone connects to my car stereo over Bluetooth. Love this app!
gReader Pro - Best RSS reader I've found that can access Google Reader feeds. Again, tried many, many various RSS apps out there and this one stomps them all (for my needs anyway).
Nova Launcher - Takes the native ICS launcher and kicks it up a notch with some very nice extra features. Kinda funny/sad that it does a better job with controlling lag when using the stock ICS Live Wallpapers than Google's own native launcher.
Pure Calendar - Skinnable widget that can pull my Google Calendar and Touchdown Exchange calendar data together and display them all very nicely in a scrollable widget. The dev of the "Pure" series of apps/widgets really does a great job with all of the apps in this line.
iSyncr - Fantastic app that allows me to sync my iTunes-based playlists on my iMac to my Gnex. Also has a companion app to do the syncing wirelessly.
Google Voice - For all the options it gives to deal with voicemail messages, spam calls/texts, not to mention free texting! Been using this since it became available and I think I'd pretty much die without it now. haha
WiFi File Explorer Pro - Handy app that allows me to access my phone from my computer over my home wifi network.
----------------------
Sorry if this list it a bit long but these are all the apps I use regularly and would dearly miss if they were to go away.

Hey man I tried sending you a message but apparently XDA is real screwy and need to get some bugs fixed. anyway...I was wondering how you got the mclock widget to resize to fit the nexus' screen. I used the .xml file from Red X but he made the width 420 so it shows up really small on the nexus screen. If you could let me know how to resize it, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Have you tried Handy note pro? I think it's great for handwritten notes. It's not free but I think it's worth the money.
^^^^^ Handy Note Pro is what I use.
I spent some time recently trying out all the leading products. I am a long-time Catch user, but I wanted to be able to sketch my stuff.
The UI is a bit unique, but it's quite intuitive - a little like working in PowerPoint oddly-enough, with text objects and graphic objects that can be moved around the screen.
If I want more of a dedicated notes tool for longer text-based situations, I just use Google docs. Hard to beat that, IMO.
don't know what version are in OP,but this is the last supernote apk i find..

I actually find the older version of supernote to be more usable. Same features essentially, but the ui looks better than the phone mode of 3.1... Also if I type in landscape then rotate to portrait in order to read, it changes the size than forcing you to scroll over.
I'm on 1.3... can link to the apk if anyone is interested.

Well now I'm finding that I can't tab out in this version... All I want is fast bt keyboard typing, with the ability to add in line drawings... And yes I've used freenote, but it has its own set of problems.
I agree with a bunch of previous posts. There are very good options for taking notes on the N7 (Catch, Evernote, Springpad, etc) which fit the bill nicely as long as you have no need to sketch. But, in order for the N7 to really *replace* pen/paper for me, it needs to do this.
The elegance of plain 'ol paper and pen is that I can write what I want, where I want, I can capture text very fast (like when listening to someone speak) and I can scribble visual ideas that range from notations around stuff I've already written, to sketching diagrams. For me, pen and paper is the gold standard.
Apps that incorporate free-sketch with text, like SuperNote and Handy Note Pro seem like they'd be perfect, but actually they don't compete well with pen/paper in real-life note-taking situations. I currently use Handy Note (SuperNote is good as well), and the object-oriented nature of the UI is a little kludgy when needing to work fast. The pages are too short (I've reported this to the Dev) and when done, I end up with an artifact (a PDF) that syncs to the cloud just fine, but it's not editable on my PC.
I have been in touch with the Catch Devs, as they have extensions to Catch that allow sketching, but only for specific platforms (none that I own), and they don't expect to be building more soon due to limited Dev resources.
One other potential gotcha for note taking, is the lack of integrated hand-writing recognition when inputing free-hand text. I understand handwriting recognition pretty well, going all the way back to the Apple Newton and I know it can be a pain at times, but it seems like it's needed for a really comprehensive note-taking solution.
So, my take is that there are fine options available, but they have their limitations.
writepad stylus is pretty good.
I use hovernote notes http://mjlim.net/wordpress/hovernote/
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mjlim.hovernote
Its simple, light, and hovers over anything

I totally agree with you man, I think we need something that is for example Springpad and Supernote combined:
Springpad's clean and simple UI, sync/share features and many other useful stuff
Supernote's sketching capability
Im gonna ask the devs at Springpad if they can implement sketch in thier next update or something...
Okay Guys,
Just for fun, as a little side-project, I wanted to play with the DashClock extensions API, and being a self-proclaimed "word nerd" I figured a cool "Word of the Day" extension might be fun to put together, so that's what I did .
It allows you to currently display a new word on your locksceen each day, and select from a variety of sources, such as Merriam-Webster, Yahoo, TheFreeDictionary, and others. Clicking the item takes you to the feed source for additional details, or you can elect to select from alternate lookup sources, such as Google and Wikipedia.
For the less intellectually inclined, you can even choose The Urban Dictionary as a daily word source :

Ha, Ha, that's my own personal extension that tells me the status of my garage door at any given time. It interfaces with my personal "OpenSezMe" garage door opener app that communicates with an Arduino for toggling a relay to open / close the door (app has come a long way since that video).
The DashClock extension receives PUSH notifications using GCM (Google Cloud Messaging), that the Arudino sends out when the reed sensor attached to it changes its state (open / closed), so I instantly know at any given time if the garage door is open or closed (or remains open too long), be it via a regular remote, the keypad, or my app on my or my wife's phone, etc
But I digress

Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions, ideas, etc.
Working now on a couple additional features:
Dismiss / clear word & definition on lock screen when clicked (versus persistent), and not display again until new word is received from selected source. Essentially seeing once a day and disappearing once clicked.
When in persistent mode, rotate between all sources on pre-defined basis, so you can see more than one word / day if desired.
This is fun. Urban Dictionary is hilarious. Thanks for this.
This is amazing, thanks

I bought Timely Alarm Clock Premium about 2 weeks ago!
Really beautiful app and nice functions.
The best thing is, that you can sync your phone's and tablets in only 2 seconds.

did you pay for the extra clock faces, or just ad-removal? there are different tiers of payment, so you need to make sure you bought the right one

Installed and quickly uninstalled. You only get one free clock. For more you have to pay.
does this cause extra battery drain if u don[t use it and don't force stop it? how do change the default ringer sounds?
it doesn't have a set alarm for each day of the week? and you can't put in custom ringers i don't think

It works just like a normal alarm clock, I don't notice any battery overly drain. When you set up an alarm, tap on it and it will expand others settings including the sounds. Remember this is a third party app so it's sounds are related to the media, not the system notification.

My referral code is 2N2D-1HCE-DHQ1.
Also, I could only enter a referral code once.
I first used Timely on my S4, and so of course I have it on my N7Flo. I love being able to set alarms for my other device from either one. It's great if I'm on the tab and remember then to set my alarms while I'm just browsing around or whatever, and don't have to screw with my phone or fish it out.
I just wish you could use the same analog clock from the main app screen as a widget. It's gorgeous. I'd love to have that on my lock or home.
Timely as a live wallpaper ?
Hello,
Does anyone knows how to set Timely alarm clock as a live wallpaper ?
Its amazing

Not required. You can download from Google Playstore with many working features.
But if you have the Xposed framework, you can enable the module which comes with Wear Messenger that will add a "Reply with Wear Messenger" action to Gmail, Hangouts, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Telegram, featuring all the input methods available.

Video and youtube doesn´t work, I only see the first frame of the video and nothing else happens...
Maybe obvious, but I'd add Pujie Black as a must-have watchface. Highly customizable, looks great, and you can tweak ambient mode to minimize burn-in.

Pujie Black is awesome & my current go to, also has many quick click options from the watch face to open other windows/apps.
You know, I see you posting everywhere about burn-in, & it's just not necessary. Not only do many watch faces such as Pujie Black have adjustments to move the face, android wear itself has a built in ambient mover to reduce possibility of burn-in. Even beyond that, burn-in is something from the past that just doesn't happen anymore. Unless you are misusing your device or watch it simply is not going to happen, & it would be appreciated if you stop scaring people about fiction? You're like the religious that come to my door, no matter how many times they say it, doesn't make it true.

+1 for Swapp true dark. Love it. My watch was way way too bright at night. This app saved me from returning it. Allows you to dim the brightness as much as you like. Love it.
Music Boss for Android! works with all my music app's including you tube, tune in radio, pandora, google play music, music folder, stock music.

-Vibrate on connect
-Works better on M
-Fixed power consumption
Google has finally put their Calculator in the Playstore, and it's bundled for Android Wear:

Whats app will work on its own, or you can add a 3rd party client like wear messenger or quick.
