Hello!
Simple question as above. How to install TWRP on 4.4.2 v50020d? I have root but can't find any tutorial for 4.4.2 20d.
Cheers.
Check out my CWM thread here:

If you get unsupported aboot image, then look on page 4 of the same thread for links on how to downgrade your firmware.

on 2.3 just open the file with notepad and edit v50020b to v50020d

Hi folks,
I'm trying to update from 4.3 (stock) to 4.4.2 using the twrp (update.zip method).
I see some error saying, Peel.apk has unexpected contents. I copied the update.zip
at the root of external card and tried to do update. My phone is rooted, has custom recovery.
Can that be the problem? What are the steps to update to 4.4.2 stock? Do I need to use odin?
If yes, where do I find the stock firmware?
Please help!.

I updated to lollipop and the root disappeared.
Is there any method that works? or i must downgrade to kitkat?
The model is v500
You can get root back by flashing the SU beta zip which is found here....

You need to flash it in recovery.
Good luck
I had already replied to you in the ROM thread where you posted the exact same question, did you not see that.?
HI friends,
I updated my G3 D855 to lollipop( V20e-IND-XX) from computer using LG mobile support tool, But i cant find rooting for the same hence decided to downgrade to kitkat, but got a doubt can i flash any prerooted lollipop using LG flash tool, cant use Zip file because dont have root at the moment ..
Kindly help with some links which are suitable for flashing & downloading d pre-rooted stock lollipop.
Thanks in advance..
You have to downgrade from Lollipop to KitKat. Just use LG Flash Tool with right KDZ file. Then you root G3 and flash bump'd TWRP. After that, flash pre-rooted Lollipop stock ROM through TWRP. That's all.
which kdz to use?

Hello, if I have a A6RE D855 16GB and im having issues with lollipop. Could you please tell me if I could flash it to EUROPE COMMON 16G D85510A_00 .. I was taking a look on mylgphones.com to see the history but I'm really confused with all the letters. In on site see d85510g and on others I see d85510A. Does it make any difference if i flash the europe common?
Thanks in advance!
I previously rooted my tablet. Then Verizon finally put out 5.0 lollipop update. Now rootchecker, superuser, and other root tools says my tablet isn't rooted but stumproot says it is. I want to reroot my tablet can any one help?
Use LG Flash Tool 2014 to flash the 24A KDZ, use Stump to root, put the bump'd 4.2.2 aboot (bootloader) on and install the loki'd TWRP v2.7.0.1. Upgrade to ClockworkMod Recovery (thread in Development) and then flash my ViKtory810 ROM from my thread listed in my signature below. I haven't updated my ROM OP, I know I say to use TWRP but flashing SuperSU.zip in TWRP and trying to boot 35A_08 (official LG Lollipop) has caused problems for some people that's a little bit of a pain to get out of. My ROM thread has all the rest of the instructions you need once you have custom recovery on there.
