noting
it was in my pocket and wen i opened it i see its not work well
and when i test it by 3845#*855#
i know a part of touch dont work

Need some elaboration.
That could be caused from a drop, or any other physical damage to the device. So not software.
I would suggest contacting LG directly to resolve the issue, or hope it's covered under warranty.

Cold temperature doesn't usually damage a phone, and I'm sure it's not arctic temperatures in your pocket (lol)
There isn't anything you can just change about the touchscreen. This is the phones inability to detect your touches up in that region, so it's most likely hardware with the device. If you have time get on a live chat with LG to sort this issue out. I'm sure they'll cover you.

But when phone is cold (-20° C) this works fine. What is it, can you help me
change the touchscreen(is cheap kinda 20$)
..
maybe some " spot " from the touch screen is blocked ... maybe due to the " heat " that kinda makes the touchscreen to misbehave.
but first try to reinstall the ROM by wiping all things.
Thank you, I did full wipe and reinstalled Rom, problem is still exist. How can I change touch screen and where to boy it for 20$? If I change touch there will be air gap I think. In my service centre to solve problem I need about 240$
now phone is ok, because im outtdoors where is -25 ' C

Why don't you take it to the HTC repair center. I'm sure they will replace it for free since it's hardware related problem

Are you sure about this? I thought by unlocking the device you lost your warranty (HTC made it pretty hard to ignore), since software can f*ck up the hardware?
check here------->

i think htc repair centre wont work with my phone cuz of unlocking bootloader. about link... this is only touch screen, ours service centres cant make this job to replace only touch screen. After this zerogap will be lost

From what i see from the video, its likely that ur touch sensor is detecting ghost fingers. Which is touch being registered even though u r only having one finger or no fingers on the screen at all. This happens when ur touch screen digitizer is damaged. Common causes would dropping, water damage or overheating of ur phone. If its still under warranty, LG should replace the digitizer for u. Hope that clears ur question.

Thank u for clearing my doubt.I think also that its digitizer problem. But never dropped or heated or put in water my phone. Now I loosing screen functionality over other points also. Also as I wake the phone up it unlock itself in auto and starts two applications. One is quick translator and other one is safety care. I have this phone since 3 months. Initially there was no problem but I m facing this problem since 20-25 days.Although I didnt drop or heat or water my phone.
There also a possibility that it could be manufacturing defect. A certain damage during the production of the phone's motherboard would result in it killing the digitizer over time. If this is the case (keeps reoccurring after changing the digitizer by going to lg), u shd request lg to replace ur entire unit. If u want to see the ghost fingers u can download this app from the play store called multitouch test. It will show all the touch inputs on ur device.

Now I have started facing one more problem while screen off time is 30 secs in display options but it keeps waking till indifinite period.
Its linked to the previous that u were having. Screen off timing is set to lock the phone there is no touch activity on the phone. Meaning on a normal phone, it would lock itself if u don't touch the screen for 30sec. But since ur screen is constantly registering ghost fingers/touches it would register as a touch activity and this would prevent the phone from being locked. Bring ur phone to lg service immediately. Don't wait

ok thanks dude. But I fear that if they refuse to replace it giving excuse like u have dropped or heated etc. ur phone. Is there any solution for that?
Usually they wouldn't do such things. In most cases they would repair it for u. Even if the phones are rooted, they would repair it even though the warranty is void. If u really have bad luck there shd b tutorials online on how to replace the digitizer. But u might screw up more things and if it involves the motherboard issue as I said before, replacing the digitizer would only solve the issue for some time

Today after 7-8 hrs after as I started using phone I found my home button stopped responding .It is response less. Now I think it is sure that its a motherboard problem.
Not necessarily. Ur home button sensor lies on the same digitizer panel so with many ghost fingers, it just isn't detecting the input from the home button. As I said, of u replace it and if the problem keeps coming back, its likely to be a motherboard problem. As for the pricing of the digitizer u can look at eBay. But really really don't recommend u doing it by urself. Take it to lg service centre

root and hardware

Hi, so i got a G4 H815 and i can unlock my bootloader, but my only concern is that after unlocking it my warranty will be void.
So my question is does anyone have a hardware problem? Like screen problems or anything?
I unlocked my bootloader, but I didn't notice my digitizer is broken. It's really dysfunctional. Using multi-touch results in my phone thinking that I'm touching the screen at random locations. Scrolling is a pain in the arse as well.
I don't know whether I can send my phone to LG to just get it fixed. I should be, since the law in the Netherlands states that if it's a hardware fault, you still have warranty.
Returned my first G4 because of a faulty screen.
I had Bootloader unlocked it via LG Dev site and had no problem getting a new one.

thanks a lot!
I have personally not had a single issue that would make me need to take the phone back and swap it out.
I understand that you are nervous about that, but just be careful as far as drops and around liquids and you will be good to go buddy.

Its this the bootloop problem?

My LG G4 has this problem, i send it to warranty and they said that the problem was the logic card. They want me to pay $138 for the repair.
I dont know how to tell them that the problem its this bootloop issue.
Another question, the logic card can be damaged by throwing the phone?

Anything can be damaged by throwing the phone. The bootloop issue is in the irc power managment on the mother board.

Semi-Dead Phone

Yesterday, my groupmates and I were presenting this VR application to our panelists. Somehow in the middle of the demo, my phone rebooted and it took a while before it actually opened. After it opened though, a few seconds or about a minute later it will reboot again and this happened a few times so I decided to turn it off. Later, when I decided to turn it on again it won't let me past the LG logo and it just keeps on bootlooping so I decided to turn it off by removing the battery and let it stay off for a while. Again when I decided to check on it, the phone won't even turn on even after holding the power button for a few seconds and trying to remove battery and place it back. I decided to check on it later again and it would boot but only until the LG logo again and this time it stays there for a few seconds and then it goes black and this just keeps on happening every time I try opening it. I even tried to do a hard reset (reset to factory settings) but only the same thing happens, the phone freezes at the "Yes" option when doing the factory reset and it goes to black after a few seconds. I even tried flashing a firmware but it won't let me do it because the same thing happens (reboots into LG logo, freezes and then turns black).
What could have happened? Is there anyway to fix this? :/
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: My phone (H815) is running MM, not rooted,

Unfortunately you are also in bootloop effected G4 club now. If it is in warranty, claim it as its board will be replaced, it is hardware failure. What is Serial Number of your G4?

Your S/N is on the phone behind the battery. They will also need your IMEI number.
So you, just like hundreds here, and I am pretty sure it's thousands globally have got bootloop issue so there is no need to create new thread as that is not going to fix your issue as you are in the same boat just like all of us with probably your serial number starting with 505xxx.

Oh well, unlucky... I don't remember seeing any 511 developing bootloop which might be concern for others since I believe that from November 2015 they fixed the bootloop issue with hardware revision 1.1. You can add it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/longest-running-bootloop-g4-t3386329 so that others are aware that 511 can also develop bootloop

I'm sure you'll find all the answers going through threads on LG G4 bootloop issue. Seems like the pins on the qualcomm chip get somehow loose or unstuck from the motherboard overtime (usually the 2 big cores) that why the phone is unable to boot when that happens. That's why disabling the big cores helps to boot the phone using only 4 small cores.

Problem is I bought the phone from an online retailer and all they have is labor warranty. I've also tried e-mailing LG here in the Philippines but I haven't received a reply yet and it's been almost a week.
Can removing the 2 big cores (hardware, is it even possible?) by a guy who can repair it, fix the phone?

That is not correct. 12 month warranty is provided by LG for the device so he can go ahead and get in touch with LG. As long as he's got proof of purchase that's all they ask.
