So big news today is that the official OEM metal bands are now available, but where and how? I read posts saying things like ATT has them, but I think they just mean if you order online and wait a week for delivery? I want to see this thing in person before I hand over my money. Does anyone know when BB or any other store will actually carry these?

I ordered mine from AT&T. I definitely recommend buying the metal band, though if you decide on buying the leather band, it's equally as good. Just walk into a store and order it!

Yea AT&T and I think Verizon are supposed to have them too eventually probably not till after next week though. In my area even leather band motos are still sold out everywhere so online might be your best bet depending on the availability in your area.

Really? They show as "coming soon" on their website. I wouldn't think the stores would have them yet. I'm gonna go check out my local best buy today. Thanks.
So they are definitely coming soon to best buy, I went today to look at the regular leather band version on the display kiosk, and they already had the labels up for the silver steel one for $299. He said they havent actually come in yet, and probably will Friday. The guy who told me that was wearing a leather one, and I'm pretty sure last time they said Thursday is when they get deliveries, so I'll have to call in every day to make sure.
Well, I ordered a 360 with the silver metal OEM band from Motorola this week and just got confirmation that it shipped. LOL I check like every 15 minutes.
Motorola show November 18th for delivery but Fedex shows the 17th.
So I imagine those that just ordered the band will also be shipping very soon if not already.
I got an email from Moto the second they had it available on their site (Nov 6th or something), and bought one. Received it 2 days ago. The metal band is soooo much nicer than the leather IMO. I had to take a to a jeweler to size it, and apparently the links are the hardest to remove that he had ever come across.
What was the difficulty with the metal band? Were the screws too tight?

Seems like you probably waited too late. Much like the original shipments those who ordered early got them within a week or two. But if you waited a few days to order suddenly you got bumped to a month. This is why I'm just waiting for them at BB now since I know if I get a 14 day wait with Motorola they'll be on the shelves by tomorrow at BB
OK, my new Moto 360 with the metal OEM band was just delivered.
It is now charging. First impressions of the band is it's OK. I have a lot of conventional TV brand watches like Renatos and Invictas and this band feels much lighter and of lesser quality. But then again most of my watches are big and have a 26MM band. SO the bigger bad size may make them feel of a higher quality.
Most watches are shipped with all of the links already installed and you then take them off to re-size them. When I put it on it and secures the clasp it was too tight. At first I was afraid they sent me the 18MM band but those are not even available yet. I did a quick search through the box and did not see any extra links. A better search and I found them in a small cardboard envelope. I was worried that was the size. I think it is another 4 links and I will work on getting re-sized tonight. I bought a watch kit with all the tools and I usually re-size my own watches. We will see how difficult this one is to do.

Hey Ordered like a 20.00 kit from Amazon.
But I just spent the last 15-20 min to get the pins out and no luck. So I will be trying to find a jeweler this week. I think the pins are to small for my PIN tool. I do not want to mess it up so hopefully they will have the right tools for the job. Another thing is my other bands have arrows to tell you the way the pin goes in this bad has no marks.
I Played with it a bit and is pretty awesome. I use a Vera Home Automation controller with an app called Imperihome and it works via voice right from the watch how cool is that.

Same gift at the door for me today, this is one tank of a case, and yes I think jumping around is quite doable without concern, the tab allows screen in or out on the case. I'd be more concerned about the clip than I would the tab letting go. But with otterbox reputation, that shouldn't be to much of a worry.

Pretty sure USPS won't leave packages at my front door they never do I always have to sign a paper they leave in my mailbox and then I gotta wait 2 more days for the damn thing.

If you want a dock specific for the nexus and not just a generic dock then I think you are going to have to wait until after its been released. Give it about a week after 17th and stuff should start popping up on ebay or other sites.
I have been looking for a desk dock and a proper galaxy nexus car mount (not just a universal mount) and havent found anything that has images and sale date yet.

They are OK quality, I wanted some temp protectors before I get some proper ones in the near future.
Nevertheless, very quick delivery as I ordered Thursday afternoon and received Saturday morning (today).
My SGN was naked for about 12 hours but still sparkling new.

So are they cut specifically for the galaxy nexus that covers the whole front face or is just a rectangular protector for the 4.65 screen?

They appear to be cut for the whole of the front screen, curved edges with a cut out for the speaker.

Great find! I may order the white one.. The only thing Im iffy on, is its covering up the beauty of the silver

Like I said, I may order the white one as I feel it looks more like what a watch would be. So maybe get a white band too. More options to match an outfit too.

I ordered the matte black one today. I already have a few scratches on the side of the watch and bezel, but I managed to buff them out for the most part. This will help keep it from getting more scratched up I think. I'll post pics once I get it.

That's a reasonable price, the problem is i live in Puerto Rico and it shows $19.99 for ship to a total of $27.99, and some sites think we are international shipping. We have in PR USPS, UPS, Fedex that I use always without problem. Sending a small like that would be like 5 to 6 bucks on USPS.
For example: Yesterday i was going to buy a Amazon Fire TV for my boss, and I was unable to buy, even calling amazon support they told me they cant be shipped to Puerto Rico, and the crazy thing its I have a Fire TV since launch that I bought directly from amazon and received via UPS next day and she saw the order on my history he don't even know how i do it. I have prime and I receive the diapers for my toddler second day via UPS. Crazy stuff LOL
I live in NY so I have asked Shapeway if there is any way I can come pick it up. Their website does mention the fact that they are cool with personal pickups.

In November I had a problem where my Moto 360 battery dropped like a rock. About 50% per hour. After a couple of days I called Motorola. Very nice folks. I have a silver Moto 360 with a grey band. They said they'd send a replacement immediately and gave me a FedEx label to return my old one. The next day my original 360 was back to normal. I decided that I'd still do the switch just in case it was a hardware issue.
The replacement 360 never came. I didn't think much of it since my original one was working fine. About a month later I got a call from Motorola saying that my replacement watch was on back order. They asked if I wanted another model. No thanks, I said, I'll just keep waiting. January, same thing. Phone call, my silver one was on backorder, would I like another one. No thanks.
Then, in February the battery burn happened again. But, went away after a reset. They called again in February but this time to tell me that my silver with grey was still back ordered. This time I asked what models they had available for replacement. The only silver one was with a metal band. More expensive? I asked. No, just a one for one replacement. Ok, I said. I'm not a fan of metal bands but I have other leather ones I can use.
It came in two days. In original store packaging with a charger. As if I just bought this at Best Buy. Included was a generic brown box to return my old one. I called and asked if they wanted the old charger, too. Nope. So, I just sent my original 360 with the watch band in the brown box. Now I have a silver metal band and a second charger.

The same thing happened to me. My stainless steek moto 360 with gray band had crack on the back. I was given a runaround a few times. I had to keep calling to ask for updates. After 2 weeks I got a moto 360 replacement with matel band n got to keep the charger .

Update: I called Google and they said it won't ship until tomorrow.
I called huawei cancelled, they refunded money, and I called bestbuy order will have it by tuesday.

Stainless with stainless band. It's nice, not much nicer than my watch urbane I sold. I like the .1 bigger screen, but wish the body were a lil bit bigger.

I has the Urbane too and the Huawei is 100x nicer. I bought the SS/mesh one too and I love it! I hope the Nexus they're making is just as nice.

I've been using it for a few hours now and its much better than my LG Urbane was. The button has a better 'click' to it plus if you triple click it fast it turns high brightness mode on. Who needs a flat tire when you have a nice looking watch that's just as functional I'll post a picture of it below next to my Luminox 1801 which is roughly the same size. The mesh band also feels great and conforms to your wrist easily.
The pictures don't do it justice because they make the display look washed out when it's actually really bright and clear with a nice AMOLED saturation to it. I'll take one later with my DSLR if I get a chance.
