Hi all
is there any ROM newer than ICS supporting bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 enabled? It's that profile that stream metadata (ID3) to the device connected via A2DP for audio streaming, in other words I would like my car dect showing ID3 info in the display. Is it possible with newest ROM (JB o KK)?
Thanks
Up!

Can someone please tell me what Bluetooth AVRCP Profile that the 2.2 update is using.?
I am not able to get the full controls and the Display text for songs to show up on my wireless Bluetooth Audio in my car that I used to get no problem on my Blackberry Storm..
I was hoping the Froyo update would update the profile to a compatible profile version but it apparently did not.
Thanks

bumpedy bump bump.. anyone?
Would anyone know how to figure out the version of AVRCP bluetooth protocol the Ion has? I know our phone had a very outdated BT protocol for a 2012 model, but not sure if AVRCP is actually hardware or software controlled.
The issue is i am getting no media data displaying on my JVC KD-R80BT which is listed to support AVRCP 1.3 . This is using PlayerPro and Walkman from the XZXv2 rom.
I'm currently using AOKP and am having issues with stability when using Pandora over the Pioneer link to my new head unit. It works, but if I try to skip a song, my phone freezes up and eventually reboots itself. I'm pretty sure its because of issues with these protocols support so I was wondering if there was an AOSP rom that has really good bluetooth support. The protocols it needs is:
A2DP profile for audio streaming.
AVRCP profile for audio control (track metadata available on 2013 and 2012 AVIC and AVH models with AVRCP 1.3).
SPP (Serial Port Profile) for full, on-screen control of Pandora® internet radio and Aha™ Radio (for Navigation receivers)apps when installed on Android device. Please check the owner's manual of your Pioneer receiver to verify compatibility with the Bluetooth SPP profile.
Does any of that make sense? Would I have better luck with just standard CM10?
i noticed that when using bluetooth audio in my car it just says streaming audio even with local music files, but with the stock rom it passed along the songs info so i could see the track info on my deck. with play music. my nokia wp8 would always show the track info whether it was local or streaming...is it a change in how android handles bluetooth between 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 or just how cm10 handles streaming audio? i noticed my tab with cm10 and 4.2.2 does the same thing
