Best bluetooth support AOSP rom? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I'm currently using AOKP and am having issues with stability when using Pandora over the Pioneer link to my new head unit. It works, but if I try to skip a song, my phone freezes up and eventually reboots itself. I'm pretty sure its because of issues with these protocols support so I was wondering if there was an AOSP rom that has really good bluetooth support. The protocols it needs is:
A2DP profile for audio streaming.
AVRCP profile for audio control (track metadata available on 2013 and 2012 AVIC and AVH models with AVRCP 1.3).
SPP (Serial Port Profile) for full, on-screen control of Pandora® internet radio and Aha™ Radio (for Navigation receivers)apps when installed on Android device. Please check the owner's manual of your Pioneer receiver to verify compatibility with the Bluetooth SPP profile.
Does any of that make sense? Would I have better luck with just standard CM10?

& want a USB device that will conect it to my PC
so can listen to Music on my Bluetooth headset from my PC
does anyone know whats the USB device called or where i can find one please
Will this do the Job - Bluetooth 2.0 Dongle Adapter
Thanks
I'm not an expert on these things, but I believe you need to make sure that whatever device you getting can handle A2DP. That's the Bluetooth profile that allows for High Quality audio to be transmitted through BT. What I'm not sure is if the A2DP is a software controlled, or hardware controlled thing.
Followup: I did find this device:
http://usa.asus.com/Product.aspx?P_ID=kMQYNVBNRWehBd3U&content=specifications
Which specifically lists A2DP as one of the supported profiles, so based on that it might be a hardware thing. BTW, the A2DP for this device is only supported on a Windows Machine, not Mac.

[Q] Bluetooth - Can it stream song info?

Ok, I know we have bluetooth controls on our devices thanks to WinAMP and PowerAMP but here's the next thing we don't have.
Can bluetooth transmit song info when it streams audio to a radio?
if its only a matter of control stacks or version of bluetooth, which control stack or version is needed?
The HTC ThunderBolt is one of the first handsets to be upgradeable to Bluetooth 3.0 when it becomes available as an update. I'm just doing a little early research on the matter what to expect and not to expect from it.
**Note: There was a VERY old thread that had this same question but it was never answered, hence the new thread**
My truck stereo streams the phone number of incoming calls, but doesn't (currently) stream song info.
My dinc runs CM7 nightlies and interfaces with my Clarion CZ500 stereo.

Bluetooth Compatible Alpine Radios

I bought an Alpine CDE-HD137BT headunit for its Pandora functionality. However, I learned you need to have an AVRCP 1.3 supported ROM to use the BT Pandora source versus the less functional BT Audio source. So I found Codename Android and flashed it, but that didn't completely solve my problem.
Here is the situation:
If my radio is on the BT Pandora source and I launch Pandora the radio will read "No Pandora". The only way to get it to connect to Pandora is to
1. Start Vehicle (it is in BT Pandora mode)
2. Launch Pandora App (it will start playing but no audio will come out the radio)
3. Cycle through all the options back to BT Pandora.
4. Let it connect and enjoy.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Edit: I tried to connect straight from the BT Pandora on an Incredible 2 and it worked. I'll test another ROM.

Hey, just ran across your post. Did you ever find a fix to the problem?
I have the same issue on my nexus 4. Bluetooth for automotive is checked in Pandora

[Q] New Bluetooth Stack in 4.2

New Bluetooth stack
Android 4.2 introduces a new Bluetooth stack optimized for use with Android devices. The new Bluetooth stack developed in collaboration between Google and Broadcom replaces the stack based on BlueZ and provides improved compatibility and reliability.
Does anyone know what the exact improvements are? I remember in ICS there was an issue with degraded audio quality when you had two bluetooth devices connected (ex: hands free car speaker, and audio streaming device).
My car only has phone support (no A2DP) over bluetooth, so I am looking into buying this in order to stream music. Ideally the phone can know when to send a call to the car and music to the aux plugin.

[Q] ROM with bluetooth AVRCP 1.3+ enabled

Hi all
is there any ROM newer than ICS supporting bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 enabled? It's that profile that stream metadata (ID3) to the device connected via A2DP for audio streaming, in other words I would like my car dect showing ID3 info in the display. Is it possible with newest ROM (JB o KK)?
Thanks
Up!
