[Q] bluetooth streaming - LG Optimus G Pro

i noticed that when using bluetooth audio in my car it just says streaming audio even with local music files, but with the stock rom it passed along the songs info so i could see the track info on my deck. with play music. my nokia wp8 would always show the track info whether it was local or streaming...is it a change in how android handles bluetooth between 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 or just how cm10 handles streaming audio? i noticed my tab with cm10 and 4.2.2 does the same thing

[Q] Bluetooth - Can it stream song info?

Ok, I know we have bluetooth controls on our devices thanks to WinAMP and PowerAMP but here's the next thing we don't have.
Can bluetooth transmit song info when it streams audio to a radio?
if its only a matter of control stacks or version of bluetooth, which control stack or version is needed?
The HTC ThunderBolt is one of the first handsets to be upgradeable to Bluetooth 3.0 when it becomes available as an update. I'm just doing a little early research on the matter what to expect and not to expect from it.
**Note: There was a VERY old thread that had this same question but it was never answered, hence the new thread**
My truck stereo streams the phone number of incoming calls, but doesn't (currently) stream song info.
My dinc runs CM7 nightlies and interfaces with my Clarion CZ500 stereo.

[Q] Bluetooth metadata and ICS

So I am having a slight issue that I was hoping someone might be able to help me out with. I recently put on ics-deck-inc alpha 5 and everything for the most part is working great. One things that I am still struggling to get to work is Bluetooth streaming metadata to my head unit in my truck. The phone will stream the music no problem, but the metadata doesn't show up.
I have tried using the stock music player that came with ics-deck-inc and the new CM9 music player that was released recently and neither will stream metadata. I should mention that when I was using the stock player on CM7 the metadata streamed fine to my head unit. Also, I can get metadata to stream via Bluetooth to my head unit when using Pandora on ics-deck-inc. I am not sure if it has something to do with the Bluetooth stack (?) or just a limitation of the music player software.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Any a2dp Title/Artist info?

Any one have a rom they can confirm sends Artist/Album/Song info over bluetooth? Using my new Parrot Asteroid headunit and using the andromedus ICS rom it doesn't seem to send any song info on either the most recent play music player or pandora.
Would prefer an ICS rom, but if none support it i'd be willing to kick down to something else.

Bluetooth AVRCP 1.3

Guys a quicky, is the GNEX running android 4.3 and streaming music to my car's stereo via google play music supposed to send metadata to it?
Cheers!

Actually it doesnt work even with other music players... So Google marketed android 4.3's major news in the form of Bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 and the new OpenGL, neither of which are actually supported by our phone?
raidews done
works for me
but on
CyanogenMod 10.0 and 10.2
but something went wrong betwen nighties august 16 and 22,
its now crashing
I have yet to see any metadata tags on a CM10.2 nightly on my Play Store GNex as well. Bluetooth audio works just fine, but no metadata is appearing yet.

[Q] Streaming audio from android to android

I've recently installed a nexus 7 into my car as the head unit. I've realized that setting up a WiFi network with my phone and streaming music is killing my network data, so...
Is there a way to have the nexus 7 act like a car stereo by linking it via Bluetooth or WiFi and play music from my phone to the nexus?
I don't really care about phone calls or other audio, I just want to be able to play the music from my phone to the nexus 7.
Thanks
Will
