[Q] Streaming audio from android to android - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

I've recently installed a nexus 7 into my car as the head unit. I've realized that setting up a WiFi network with my phone and streaming music is killing my network data, so...
Is there a way to have the nexus 7 act like a car stereo by linking it via Bluetooth or WiFi and play music from my phone to the nexus?
I don't really care about phone calls or other audio, I just want to be able to play the music from my phone to the nexus 7.
Thanks
Will

Visual Voicemail & Bluetooth & VW RNS 315 Radio

I had an EVO LTE and regardless of current audio (FM, Sirius, I-pod) when I would listen to a voice mail through my visual VM app the audio would come out of the speakers in the car automatically. I got rid of the EVO LTE and now have a Galaxy S3 and it would never automatically play the audio out of the door speakers automatically UNLESS I had the Bluetooth audio selected... until... today (and I didn't change any settings). I know now know that it is capable but the question is... how? I am pretty savvy when it comes to tech and now I can't listen to the audio without having Bluetooth selected. So...
For those with a Samsung Galaxy S3 Phone... Will you please start up your car, listen to some music from a source BESIDES Bluetooth audio stream and see if you can listen to your message by just hitting play on your visual voice mail app?
Thanks

CM10/Stock: Disable MediaStreaming to car radio

I have a Skoda Radio with build-in Bluetooth Hands Free Phone and Audio Streaming.
But I like to use the Phone just for phone calls and navigation. The phone call should be made through the Hands Free Radio device
which works perfectly. But the MediaPlayer connects every time I connect the Radio to the GNex. Even if the Media Service is disabled on the Galaxy Nexus. By design I can not disable the MediaPlay to connect to the Phone. But on my SGS2 with 4.0.4 stock it works well.
Can I modify this function in any other way on the Galaxy Nexus. I tried it on Stock 4.1.1 and with the last 10 nightly versions of CM10 for the Galaxy Nexus. Every time I disabled the Media Service for the Car Bluetooth device. But it still conecct to the phone.

[Q] bluetooth streaming

i noticed that when using bluetooth audio in my car it just says streaming audio even with local music files, but with the stock rom it passed along the songs info so i could see the track info on my deck. with play music. my nokia wp8 would always show the track info whether it was local or streaming...is it a change in how android handles bluetooth between 4.1.2 and 4.2.2 or just how cm10 handles streaming audio? i noticed my tab with cm10 and 4.2.2 does the same thing

Google Maps audio not coming through Toyota Entune. Other phone audio does. ??

Can anyone explain how to get Google maps audio through my Toyota Rav4 Hybrid Limited Entune Bluetooth, or why it is not working for me? I think I got to work once but don't remember how.
The Bluetooth connection automatically works for the phone audio and phone music player, but not for Google maps audio. If I switch off Bluetooth on the phone while running Google Maps, the Maps audio directions work from the phone. If I switch it back on, the audio is lost. Suggestions?
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Android 6.0.1

Suzuki baleno bluetooth

Hello there,
I just bought a new Suzuki Baleno, as per the company's website it states that you can connect your device in hands free mode to answer calls via Bluetooth also it can play music too.
