Hello everyone,
I've just noticed that whenever i have my 3.5mm jack headphones on, they'll stop (partially...it's actually a stuttered play/stop) playing :/
Seems to happen regardless of the player used - including the playerpro with a 'maximum priority' for playing sound.
Anyone happens to have a guess on what might've triggered this behavior? I'm on 10L.
Thank you.
Tis a headphone port problem. The G3 only seems to like 3+ channel jacks. Now if you are using the stock LG earphones, I do not know what is wrong.

Music playback is stopped at random times. Usually the phone is in my pocket. I thought my headphones were getting unplugged. But it seems to be something else. Has anybody experience this issue?

I've had it happen when streaming music over the air (Pandora or Slacker); I have pretty poor reception in my yard. I have not had any stops/skipping with music I have downloaded to my phone.
I think it does have something to do with the headphone jack. It seems to be a little out of spec. I have like 2 headphone plugs that will stay in securely, while the rest, if twisted, will pop slightly loose, enough to kill playback.

It's a design flaw. Check this thread for more info.
You may need to try a new pair of headphones.
good find gunther lol
i got tired of the app altogether some time ago so i use ZPlayer.
check it out..its pretty dope!
I had the phone sitting on my desk and the music stopped again. There was no way I moved the headphones chord to make it fail. All I noticed was that the the synch notification was displayed on the status bar. Could the playback be stopped by incoming data? Is it even possiblle?
Thanks

Certain notifications will momentarily disrupt media playback, but will not stop it.
The issue with the jack will require pushing the plug back in so that it is reseated properly.
All I have to do is press play again. So its definitely an interruption caused by the phone and not a jack related problem. I guess ill just have to deal with it.

If the contact of the headphone jack is disrupted, but not dislodged, it could be enough to cause it to pause.
The headphone jack must really suck in mine because it randomly pauses playback over bluetooth regardless of which application I'm using to play music with. Even sometimes just playing music over the phone's speaker it happens for me. At first I thought it was a bug in CyanogenMod... but I guess not.
Hello, does anyone experience a popping sound when they listen to music or watch videos? It's been happening to me quite frequently, and it seems to happen quite randomly. It also seems to 'pop' when i press the volume down or volume up buttons while watching a video or listening to music.
Anyone else experiencing this? I've determined it's not a problem with the video since I don't get any popping sound when I watch the exact same video on my laptop, and the popping sound doesn't happen at a fixed interval or anything. It also isn't a problem with my earphones as I've tried using the one supplied by HTC as well.
Any help please?
From memory I had this when playing around with dsp manager

I've had this once while browsing YouTube, don't know what caused it but it was annoying.
I rebooted my phone and its not happened since

All the time. I've got a Desire S with Sense 3.5 and that pop's as well.
Wow okay that sucks. Shall try turning off Beats Audio to see if it changes things. Or could it be an inherent HTC problem? Hmm.
Hello there,
I've lately experienced some trouble whilst listening to music. I'm using Poweramp music player on my LG P940.
It would work normally until at some point I wouldn't be able to hear anything although it says the music's still playing and the volume is at maximum. Turning up and down the volume, pausing and playing the music and unplugging and replugging the earphones would not help. Some minutes/hours/days later (different every time) it would work normal again. Has anyone ever had this problem before or has any idea how to solve it? (I know that this already is posted in a different thread but I ain't allowed yet to post something in there).

Hello all, I'm new on this forum!
I recently bought a G3 and turns out there's something wrong with the headphone jack..or then it's some bug, I don't know :s Anyway, every second time or so when I plug in my headphones, the phone automatically starts the music player. Sometimes it also brings up the talk mate (or whatever it's called). And most of the time if I move the jack just a little bit, it pauses and skips tracks if I'm listening to something on Deezer I've tried three different headphones and they all brought up the same problem(s). Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

Hi Mate,
Are you sure your issue is not related to the AUX issue already reported in previous threads ?
Hello i have a all stock LG G3 and sometimes my music randomly pauses, changes song, and turns my voluem up and down? ive tryed different music apps, can this be fixed?
It seems you have a problem with your headphones or the Jack.
Try new ones.
Brgds
