Flash ARHD Rom cos it's very close to Stock Rom. Pay 25$ to use Sunshine and you can get S-Off.
Set your phone to Super-CID and you can update your phone to FW 3.28.401.7 here.
But this should have been posted in Q&A.

The problem is i am running viperone and i try sunshine it said my device is not compatible but i will try with this rom.

mate after 200 odd posts u should know this belongs in Q&A. why post in dev forum???
reported for moving

Why sunshine not work..more info..you must have a nearly stock Rom to do it..And htc dev unlocked

Alex-V thanks man ! just going back to ARHD did not work but they also got the stock version when i flash that one it was easy to do, and i like helping developers with good work so money well spent

You need a near stock ROM. Flash Maximus HD, then try Sunshine. It should work.

rom update issue

Hi All
i have some bizarre things going on with my new HTC one m8
I rooted and flashed a custom ROM, but the WiFi stopped working (i flashed it to Android_Revolution_HD-One_M8_21.0)
so... i tried to get it back to stock (major pain) but i ended up restoring a backup of a 4.3 stock ROM i found on the web - EE (ORANG001) 1.54.61.5 (Philz)
hurrah everything worked great until an OTA popped up, i installed the update and again the WiFi stopped working
any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? oh I cant get s-off either, I tried rumrunner and sunshine
below is the phone info.
if you can suggest how I get back to stock, or a version of android that the WiFi will work after an update then id be very grateful

your phone is the first i have seen that Sunshine will not work ...what was the error ?
flash the 4.3 stock ROM EE (ORANG001) 1.54.61.5 (Philz) you have and flash the stock recovery that goes with it
do a factory reset from the stock recovery and try the OTA again
Flashing any 4.4.4 based rom requires the latest firmware be flashed first if you don't already have it.... Or WiFi won't work. ?
Need to update cid and flash 4.4.4 firmware in order to run ANY 4.4.4 rom. Only thing I can think of is a mismatched firmware is the only place I have seen this occur with certain users devices and also did you flash the kernel seperately? I believe if still s-on this has to be done manually

I am on CWS__001 and old bootloader with a custom rom. The phone has unlocked bootloader with S-off. I would like to install CM12.1 which is asking me to upgrade to 3.19 bootloader.
Can somebody please tell me what I need to do to upgrade the bootloader to 3.19? What I understood is I need to relock the bootloader and flash the HTC firmware. If you can confirm and point me to the right firmware and relock, would greatly appreciate it.
This thread should help you since you're s-off...

I Need Lastest Android 6.0 RUU

Hi guys. I need Ruu*.exe file for my m8. I have rooted, unlocked and tempered m8. I must go bak to official. Now the lastest official software is running but this is a rom. Not the official software installed on My Phone. Anybody can help me about this?
ps: Sorry for My badly english
Every region/carrier version has a different RUU. The RUU needs to match your CID and MID.
Do you know your CID? Current version number?
Best way to get the required info (and for us to help), is do fastboot getvar all, and post the output (delete IMEI and serial number before posting).
I dont know cid number but i am from Turkey and must be Turkey rom
I'm gonna share my information about my phone... I need 2-3 minutes

Did you know all this to begin with, or did you just figure it out?
RUU is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64869713&postcount=3
Can't personally vouch for it, but others seem to be using it successfully.

Relock the bootloader with command: fastboot oem lock
Then connect to PC, reboot phone into bootloader-fastboot mode, and just run the RUU executable from the PC.
Hi, can I have the latest available RUU as well for my device? Currently the device is having issues where it couldn't detect the SIM and WiFi/Bluetooth all not working at all, IMEI also not shown in the OS.

Having problem updating release keys?

Hi,i've been having update problems last 2 days and im confused.Every time i click restart & install button in update section it brings phone to recovery and starts installing update, but suddenly it requires phone to have root access. Is there any way to fix that without rooting? well this getvar result is not right or you have missed some thing
have you convert the device from sense to GPE ?
product : m8_ul is unlocked ( sense based )
GPE product is : m8_ul_ca
version main & cidnum are belong to GPE device
modelid is belong to sense device ( T-Mobile US )
you may need to clean up this mess then update your device

it depends on your choice ( sense or GPE )
the easier is GPE only need to change the modelid go to this thread to change it ( choose google play mid )
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708581
then do update
or if you need to back to sense you need to go to this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733523
and follow the steps but replace the firmware in thread with most recent one from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
choose the one that match your modelid
or here it's direct link
https://mega.nz/#!yIhBTRKJ!5rZldUEzCaFqYUhomn4mO_IgA_-nW6-gV9HX5LCzT5Y
after that you will need to flash rom, restore backup or flash RUU from htc here is direct link
http://dl3.htc.com/application/RUU_M8_UL_M60_SENSE70_MR_TMOUS_6.20.531.5.exe
Edit:- it's recommended to back to sense as you can flash GPE based rom on sense firmware but you can't flash sense based rom on GPE firmware it's your choice

The problem is, i dont have Wifi, everytime an error occurs (Failed to load drivers). With SunShine i need a working internet connection, which i dont have. And at the Android 5 Stock ROM i dont even have Mobile internet.
An update liker over OTA would be enough, but i have a ****ty CID and version:

Hboot 3.18
i believe your wifi issue is because you have an outdated firmware ( kitkat ) i think
so you need to flash the latest firmware ( marshmallow ) then flash the latest twrp ( 3.0.2-0 ) and flash your rom or restore stock backup ( 6.12.114.4 )
then you can achieve s-off ( if you need it for something else )
Here is the links
signed firmware 6.12.114.4
