No matter how I format the MEID & wifi mac address the site says it's wrong. I finally got frustrated and opted for the mail in method, but that's a pain in the butt.
I had exactly the same experience. Thank you for posting. I was getting myself wound up that my rebate was going to be rejected. Now I'm more confident it's just an error with the rebate site.
I'm going to try tomorrow. Maybe since its still within the pre-order phase?

You get the value of the phone at the store you preordered from.
That info you take to the Samsung site with you and you get 200 minus what you got from store trade in value. In 6 to 8 weeks that is...

didn't accept mine either. I am going to mail in. I preordered the phone on sprints website but I traded in at my local sprint store. I hope the preorder confrimation email i got from sprint will count as my preorder receipt. not quite sure what they want.

so now that we have established that the meid/wifi mac issue happened to more than just one of us.......what paperwork should i sign,date,print name, circle price on if i preordered on the sprint website? Am i to assume the email confirmation from my order w/ the price needs to be printed and mailed in? all i know is my local sprint store only gave me $79 for my Note II so i had better get this samsung rebate. otherwise i would have just sold my phone on ebay.
Any update on the IMEI error. Did samsung fix it yet? i prefer to submit the rebate online because it is faster to receive the rebate than the mail in.

I got it too and opted for the mail in, what a pain. Tried every variant. It must be them. BTW here is their #8 on the FAQ for the promotion.

I preorder mine on bestbuy.com so how should I do this? Wait to receive new one (because of needed IME info from new phone), than take S2 to bestbuy and trade in? Akso S2 is rooted but program says "any working phone"?

I plan on waiting a few business days for Samsung to get their website fixed. I think that mailing the rebate in now is a little premature. Plus missing two days in the mail really isn't going to make a big deal overall.

I spent three hours yesterday trying to upload different ways. Sprint wouldnt help and samsung cust service said they couldn't either. After numerous phone calls.
Has ANYONE been successful in submitting their info on that form?
Still same problem . I tried 5 times till i gave up and send it by mail certified with delivery confirmation lol.
Looks like the site is down for "maintenance"...
maybe that means they FINALLY realized theres a problem?

I would call customer service. I had a billing issue where my address was wrong for the iPhone 4S release and I had to cancel my order, change my address online, and then re-order it.

Hey I had that problem when I upgraded one of my lines to the SIII. It said "attention" but I also got an email confirming it was a problem with my credit card. Sometimes their system wont process certain debit cards right so I had to change the card and everything was good after that. I used the same new card to pre-order my note II and havent had any issues yet.

I called Premier support today and they said they had to review my order, that's why it's in Attention status. Has anyone else heard of this??

I just got off the phone with premier, and they also told me they had to "Review my order" no further info and the Note 2 was now backordered ????? Now I play the waiting game.

They also switched my order to "Attention" today. I had the same experience with customer service. They said that my order was being reviewed, but did not say anything about the phone being back ordered. The website still says that the phones are expected to ship on the 6th. Where's the ambivalent smiley...
Edit: I am also a premier customer doing no-commitment pricing.

"I am sorry, your purchase date on the receipt submitted does not match the rebate period."
I used the receipt that was given to me during the online order phase with Sprint and it has the date in the upper left hand corner, and the Pre-Order clearly circled.
The funny part is they tell me to read the "Terms and Conditions" as to why I got denied, however if you read the "Terms and Conditions" it clearly states:
"A Participant who chooses to submit his/her receipts online must first
print his/her name on the original register receipt, sign and date the receipt,
and then follow the on-screen prompts to upload a photograph of the original
register receipts showing both the trade-in value and device pre-order,
respectively"
I did exactly all of that and still got denied. Now I get to mail them in my documents, wait another 2-3 weeks, just to get denied again most likely. Should have known this would be a scam.

:laugh: You didn't think this would be a cake walk did you. Just curious when did you pre-order was it before October 16th tell them but you guaranteed me up to 200$ well 6-8 weeks for a rebate check is crazy hope things workout for you
The promotion is being handled poorly and I'm sure there will be plenty of casualties as a result. One of my deciding factors to buy the Note was this promotion so best believe I'll raise high hell once it's my turn to bat. Best of luck in a resolution.

I received the exact same reason why my rebate was not approved. I preordered my note 4 on 10/14/14 online with Sprint and uploaded a picture of order confirmation email, circled my preorder amount, printed my name on in it and signed and dated it. Apparently it wasn't good enough for approval. WTF? My email clearly states that the preorder was on 10/14.
I contacted prizelogic customer support via email last night and haven't heard back. I will probably resubmit everything thru the mail but I was hoping I could get it resolved via email first. I have no faith that it will get miraculously approved after resubmitting thru the mail. All this will do is drag out the process and then I'm sure they will "deny" it because it will end up being after the required submittal date of 11/30.

Did you turn in your trade in receipt (Maybe I missed that part). If not make sure to mail that in as well if so then just mail everything or try to get through a helpful person on Samsung website

Yes, I did include my trade in receipt. I uploaded everything thru their webpage.

I sent the email thru the "customer support" link on the email I received saying I was initially denied. I included my confirmation number in my email. Maybe give that a shot and hopefully they will approve your rebate quicker than sending the docs thru the mail.

Glad to hear they finally approve it I sold my Note 3 on Swappa but good idea for others to know
I have NOT been successful yet, First, I forgot to print and sign my name on the receipts as well as circle the pre-order date and trade-in amount so it was denied for both phones I tried to submit. The problem I have now is I'm trying to re-submit the receipts but I can't use the same email address and when I try my work email I get an error saying I've entered the wrong IMEI or HEX MEID or WIFI MAC address. In the back of my mind, I knew this was going to be a real pain in the rear - like most of us here, I'm always looking to save or recoup a few bucks. Sorry for the rant, I'm just frustrated that now I most likely will have to mail everything in.

Mine was just accepted as well, which sort of surprised me because I had forgotten to sign and print my name on the receipts. I was expecting to have to redo my submission but I'm relieved I don't have to! I guess it depends on the person who's processing your submission.

Here's the thing, I want to get rid of my and my wife's ugly screen protectors and only use our covers. We did this with the Note 4 and haven't seen a scratch in the years we owned them.. but, with the scary reports about the Gorilla Glass used on the N7, I'm wondering if this is such a good idea without insurance (considering our N4s did drop from time to time and have minor damage (scratches) on the sides).
I was thinking of going with Samsung Protection Plus, which seems like a decent option (especially compared to AT&Ts overly expensive insurance - which is totally pointless with the high cost and high deductible IMHO), Samsung offers $129 for two year insurance and a doable deductible. Going to their page: http://www.samsung.com/us/owners/protection-plus/ shows the Note 7 is supposed eligible. But when you click the button to go to the next page, the Note 7 isn't listed anymore. If I then enter my IMEI and run the check, it states that my device isn't eligible. Kind of curious considering it was purchased through AT&T and it is a device not affected by the recall (it's one of the replacements), so logically I'd think it should be eligible.
So I'm wondering, did anyone here get insured through Samsung at all? If not, could you see what the IMEI check does with you, see if you're eligible or ineligible... I'm wondering if it is just a few people who have this or if Samsung is actively blocking Note 7s from their insurance as a result of their recall.

I had insurance on my original Note 7 through Samsung. Now that I am trying to get it on my replacement phone I am getting the same error as you. I suspect that this is the result of the recall as they probably been doing a lot of tweaking with serial number databases to keep track of the good and bad but of course calling samsung was of no help

Yeah I read that about calling Samsung, people being send back and forth between Asurian and Samsung, after reading the complaints about calling them, I skipped trying that number as it would likely not help at all.
I'm starting to wonder if they're simply putting a stop to the entire protection for the Note 7 until they start selling them publicly again..
I am guessing there will be a myriad of adjustments needed to the policies covering this phone. It is likely they will insure the replacement ones once they have the exchange program out of the way. It might be worth checking other phone/gadget insurance companies in the meantime even if just temporarily. Though there is so much knee jerking going on over this phone by companies and organisations that you might hit a few barriers or over inflated premium fees.

I first did an online chat with Samsung and they gave me a number to assurant solutions who handles the claims for Samsung. They told me they only do claims and cannot sell me the Protection Plus plan. I then called Samsung and was transferred around to several different people all of whom had no clue what was going on, I ended up at tech support and he told me to take it to a best buy and see if the Samsung employee there could help. As a last resort I tried the Samsung+ video chat from my phone, this actually worked quite well, spoke with a guy who said he was aware of the issue and there isnt a fix yet. Note 7's aren't currently eligible for protection plus. Quite a hassle and despite Samsung's website saying that the note 7 is eligible for protection plus you can't get it on your phone yet.

I use to use SquareTrade.com, but now I use Worth Ave. Group SquareTrade was fine, but didn't cover 100% of what I wanted.... So a friend recommended Worth...

I had the protection plan on the first one, but it said the replacement was not eligible. I had a similar experience with Samsung and got the run around. Finally i got a sales person that emailed me a link to purchase the protection plan. It just was in my cart. I checked out. It did not ask me for an imei number. The sales lady said that in 1-3 days I should get an email to enter my imei. We will see if that works. Paid with PayPal so I feel protected if this doesn't work. They said this is a known issue.

It seems to work, but an imei is indeed not possible be added. Add on top of this that they state on top "Protection Plus – Note 3/4/5/Edge, S6 edge, S6 edge+", which would imply the S7, S7 Edge and Note 7 are not covered (or gives them wiggle room to deny any claim coming from any of those owners).
I want that insurance, but not sure I'm willing to go with this direct link considering they specifically name only some of the phones.

I was told that I would get an email in 1-3 days and would be able to put in my imei number. I felt ok, since I still have the email from Samsung telling me to use this link and I paid with paypal. I will let you know when/if I am able to put in my imei number.
I seem to recall seeing similar missing Note 7 references when I purchased my original protection plus plan as I was a little worried, but decided it was just Samsung being slow to update their webpage.

Thanks, you guys are probably right. I cannot really imagine Samsung not being trustworthy in something like this. Please keep us posted though, I'd love to sign up (especially considering I took my screen protection off a few days ago (still got a cover, it's too slippery without lol)

Not yet, I got a welcome, but still not able to enter my imei number. I was going to call, but I am sorta not wanting to waste my time.....as I am waiting to see what happens with the reports of the replacement note 7 catching on fire. Thinking there might be another recall and this is a mute point as I would have to cancel this too.

Received two emails stating that my coverage was now active but I have yet to enter an imei so the policy number they gave me isn't associated with a specific device. Will probably give them a call this weekend and see what needs to be done, I'm not optimistic that I will get anywhere.
So, I place my order on the 4th for Pixel XL 128g in black using Google financing option. Order was successful, so I thought. Never got a confirmation email or anything. After submitting the page landed on order history with "Canceled" in the header. Login to sysnchrony and all my available credit is gone and there is a pending payment for the amount of the whole order. Fast fw to today, still same pending amount..a rep at google finance tell me that it shows approved and I should contact google store to get shipment info and what not.
Google store has no history of my order and keep insisting I used the wrong email to place the order haha wtf ever. They can't find any damn trace of it. No trace of it in my order history either. So guess I'm not getting the Pixel!!

Were you able to reorder? Even if I ever get to reorder looks like they are out of stock for XL anyways.
Not with Google finance. I went ahead and just put it on my credit card. I tried Google finance again yesterday and it was declined because of the pending charge.
Gotcha. I'm going do the same once the XL is back to stock.
Got email from Google explaining that they had some technical difficulties on some orders, mine being one. Anyways, got $100 off promo code for my reorder when its back in stock.

What number did you guys call, i originally ordered a 32GB Very Sliver and the payment got blocked due to my banks fraud protection so i unblocked my card with my bank and now it sits at pending.
What number do i call to check they have my order now ?

I used the chat feature on the Google store. The chat agent then scheduled a call back to me from a higher level. When they called, their number didn't even show on phone. I called them back from the help feature chat or call. Don't remember the number off hand though.

Thanks I found it in the end, every things fine with my order seems the pending status is just their HOLD until they pack and ship devices

Return it go a few days without a phone.
I was a victim of this as well. I called and was told that if I were to cancel my new XL 128gb pre-order and reorder with the promo code, I would have to wait likely another month before I receive the phone. I decided against it, but the rep was cool and added a ton of notes to my account so when I activate it, ill get some sort of credit towards my Fi account to compensate. He also confirmed that my device would def ship on the 21st.
My order was cancelled and the Google store is saying due to financial issues on my end but, the full amount was removed from my bank account (I purchased using the pay now option using my bank card which I used to purchase the Nexus 6 and 6P) . Google is still trying to tell me that my bank didnt approve the purchase but, you can clearly see the purchase amount has been paid to "Purchase authorization Google Devices" and yet, Im being told a different story from the Google support team. Cant ask for a supervisor bc they just tell you that they can only escalate the issue and have someone get back to me. I definitely want some sort of credit or something given I have been a Google faithful for years and have been on the Fi network for a year now too....

Same **** happened to me , got my call escalated to tier 2 support , was supposed to be contacted in 24-48 hrs .
Here we are 2 days later and nothing

yeah, i havent had any response at all. And I have sent multiple emails w/screenshots of my acct information showing the purchase of the "Google Devices" in my acct balance history. It even has my monthly payment to project Fi right above that so called "declined purchase" . So they somehow can automatically take payment for my Fi service, send me my Nexus 6P and my Fi sim cards not to mention my Google cardboard etc.... several things have been purchased through the same acct with NO issues, now all the sudden Im having a bunch of problems... be serious Google....
Ive sent in 2 note 7's almost a month and a half ago to samsung, first i called them they sent me a box within a box within a box within a box times 2, sent them to texas they got them 3 days later said my check for 2 note 7's are being processed the check should get there no later than the 21st of OCT. well as time came no check showed up. called samsung again to see the status of it and they said "well we just started giving paper refunds a week ago yours has been processed but theres no ETA. Mind you i am on a cheap phone waiting for this check so i can buy a google pixel xl outright. has anyone in the same boat as me recieved their refund yet or are they just blowin smoke up my ass???
This whole process has been smoke blowing you know where.... Whoever thought of treating their most loyal customers this way should be fired! I have had multiple (for family members TOO) Note 2, Note 3, Note 4, Note 5, and now note7. They should refund us to collect the phones. Then give us a temp s7 edge that we can exchange for the note 8 for no more than half price or something along those lines. THIS IS THE ONLY REASONABLE SOLUTION!!!! Even then we have to wait for our Ferrari for unknown time to get "out of the repair shop" so that aspect might be worth the $100 customer service credit but i lean to "not enough samsung" on that one too.
The google pixel is looking better and better. If google was smart they would make their version of the note 7 asap and release it because they will get all of samsungs currently pissed off customers.

Has ANYONE received a check back from Samsung? I am now over a month and this is ridiculous!
Anyone get there check yet? I sent in Quite a few Note 7 the same way in a box they sent me to ship to Texas, which is where I reside as well. I have received no check yet for any of them. It has been over 2 weeks on the first 5 I sent to them for a refund in the form of a check. I just wanted to see if anyone has got paid back yet. Please keep everyone updated if you do get your check so the rest of us have high hopes. Lol

No check yet, but a lot of us did receive an email stating that the check is coming via UPS but yet I have no tracking number and STILL no check... They need to quit bull****tin!
I wonder why they would not send a tracking number if it's coming UPS? I'm am very disappointed in the way they are handling these returns. It seems very unorganized.

Im very happy with my N7 and will be using it as long as i can.
My second (locked) N7 is a different story. Can't unlock nor Samsung is willing to help yet. Been waiting for over 9days already for them to reply to my email. Some of you guys want a refund, laugh i cant even connect with them for an exchage =)

I was just told today that they are not coming UPS and instead they are coming via the post office ( snail mail ). I was told several times before this that the checks would be sent out via UPS overnight, but apparently that was a lie too... Agent told me that if I did not receive the check by next week Tuesday that I should call back in and they would re-process the check, whatever that means?

It's been about 22 business days since they have received my phone and I've called multiple times. If I don't get it by X date call back so I have, this time it was on a Sunday and I spoke to someone claiming he was 2 stories above the refund team but would solve all my problems by emailing the manager of that floor which should contact me back within 72hrs. It's now five days later no call, no check, and no reason to call them again since you never can get a real answer for where's my check? I'm done calling them hopefully a fellow xda member will post when they receive their's. If a class action lawsuit over this refund check situation I will definitely be signing up. Stuck using my son's BLU phone for the past month.

I just don't understand how they can send a check for about a thousand dollars right through the mail and NOT have some type of tracking number!!?? It's CRAZY to me.... On top of that, they had NO record of the tracking number for the Note 7 that I sent to Stericycle, so therefore they could not give me any info on that either. This has got to be the WORST customer service I have dealt with in quite some time! I will post my check as soon as it comes so that others know I received it. Take care and good luck...

Thanks bro, I'm wondering if Stericycle was the right choice for this. The lack of information between them and Samsung is ridiculous. I also had to provide my tracking number to Sammy and they put it in my notes. You would think it would be as simple as open, check imei, forward approved list to Sammy and put check in the mail. Even if my check was late but I had the ability to check the status of my return on a simple website, I wouldn't be as aggravated over it. The lack of answers after I send off a $900 phone in good faith has swayed me from buying anther product from them.
Maybe Stericycle is just overwhelmed by the amount of N7s coming in that it's taking them a week to even open the box once they receive it. But come on Samsung make a statement and tell your customers whats really going on.

LMAO !! You know I am so pissed that I decided to call in AGAIN just now. So now I am told by a supervisor that the checks are indeed being sent via UPS and NOT USPS like I was told on my last call (yesterday). And I have a service called "UPS My Choice" , which is a service that immediately notifies me if anyone has addressed a package to me and when that specific package is scheduled to be delivered. Guess what? There are NO packages scheduled to be delivered to me, so that means that the check has not even been sent out of their building yet. So the email that everyone received on Tuesday letting them know that the checks are on their way and will take 2-3 business days to arrive, was BULL****!! Just one more lie to the MANY lies they have already told us... I hate Samsung SOOOOOO much right now!
