No you cant, the kernel need bump'd, before flashing a kernel. Dont worry...
maybe next week our device will have prebump custom kernel.
Thank you very much

I'm new here.
I ask a few.
I installed the 0.8.2 IceColdJelly Rome. Thanks for this
For my understanding:
Why do I need a boot.img?
Need into a separate kernel? If so, what?
e.g. Faux? Why?
Sorry for my bad english...
Thank you

boot.img = your kernel
I personally am sticking to stock kernel because it apparently is the most "stable" kernel around, and honestly if i don't have lag i don't see a reason to switch. As to why you would want to switch to faux kernel, i hope someone answers that question for you.

Hello guys!
First, I'm from Brazil, so, my english is bad, sorry. I'm using Google Translate to help-me
I have a Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360B (S5360BUTME1 Stock), and every time when I install the custom kernel, my SGY freezes in 2, 3 minutes after I turned on.
Note: this problem appear only in this rom, for example, in the stock ddlk this problem don't appear!
Please, what I can do? I've tried Merruk Kernel, White Kernel, Kuro Kernel, etc, and all kernel don't work!

Try flashing the latest firmware of your country. That might help.

I could be wrong but maybe here it is?

Sorry, but i read the all posts in this thread. I´ll never found the stock kernel but a link. This is a thread about modems.
Why do you need stock kernel?
There is a custom kernel by silvuimik that is close as possible to stock and its great
I needed for testing on my phone. I´m use now a custom kernel (GT-I9195_Kernel_V1) and have problems with new starts and freezers.

Add SDCard support to any ROM of your liking.
With this you can use any D802-based ROM (not kernel) by following the instructions below:
Flash a ROM
Flash compatible kernel (must be for F320)
Flash Polymorph
Benefit
It is amazing.Thank you very much.

No, don't do that. This can work "okay" for the firmware, flashing another variant's kernel will soft brick your device.

Can you explain better wich rom variants and kernel support your work?
please don't write thanks push thanks
To be able to boot after flashing a ROM (can be any variant, but choose GSM ones, ex. D802, we are incompatible with LS/VS980), you must install a compatible kernel. In other terms, a kernel made for F320
If you installed an AOSP/CM/CAF-based Rom, use a kernel that supports that (ex. Lambda kernel)
And if you installed a stock-based ROM, use stock kernel for your device (F320)

Actually it works with all F320x. I just used F320L inside script so that the device can be properly known as LG G2.
L, S, K, they are all the same.
F320 is a name known only in non-stock world and is not in the official list of G2 variants.
Hi, i have a few (noob) questions.
If i use a mm rom, do i need to flash an mm kernel? Vice versa kitkat rom.
Do u have a list (or link) with f320(k) kernels?. Thanks in advance

If mm then use mm kernel, if kk then use kk kernel.
So it goes like this... Flash chosen ROM. Flash compatible F320 kernel then polymorph. If you forgot to flash a kernel then you'll soft brick your device
Okay, so i will try and search for an compatible kernel
how exactly this works? I own f320 version and how should I flash rom in the first place?
Can anyone explain this process? How can I use a D802 rom? I tried downloading one and installing through TWRP on my F320L. I get error that this rom is not for F320.
I am confused here about this. Please if someone can clarify It would be great.
Thanks!
