It's a bit beat up and it's been disassembled a time or two but it's fully functional. You pay shipping. PM me.
Is the screen cracked or anything?
Great thing your offer. You should have a PM

Hello everyone.
I messed up my external antenna port on my Galaxy S2. The device works 100 percent except there is no antenna. I am looking to buy a new mainboard for it. However, i cannot find a place that sells them for a REASONABLE price. People on ebay are asking 150+ for JUST the main board. Thats absurd. For 50 more bucks you could get a fully operational one from CL.
I did however find an entire phone with a cracked LCD for 80 bucks but was stupid and didnt "buy it now" but does anyone either have a broken one or know of where to get parts for it?
Thanks.
Keep checking eBay I found a used motherboard for 80 bucks worked perfect

Damn. I hate you. lol. I just bought an entire device with a cracked LCD but when i swapped the main boards out, and booted. The IMEI is "Unknown" and now im in the process of figuring out how to restore it or getting a full refund as there was no mention of bad IMEI or USB port..

Dropped from like a foot of the ground with a Samsung flip cover. Landed face down chipped screen in 2 corners and got a crack across the screen.
How do I get it fixed? Or can I do it myself? Anyone have any experience or suggestions? Thanks.
Send it to Samsung. Gonna be out as much as the phone cost you though. Get a good case to keep it from happening again

the "glass" is replacable seperately.. same as on the galaxy s3. it isnt worth it though in my opinion. it doesnt respond exactly the same. the replacements dont come with the contrast enhancing adhesive that is installed in the OE oled displays. and you can get specs of dust under it during the install, or potentially ruin it entirely. it's just easier to let sammy replace it professionaly with OE parts and have it done correctly.
believe me, i tried.
Rub some bacon on it?

Thanks. Week look into Samsung service. Really fragile this glass. Wish the edges protected the glass better.

It happened yesterday, i knew it would happen at some point...
Anyone know how much it will cost me? The device is still working fine, but i have no idea for how long it will..
It's pretty funny actually, i was thinking about buying a case, a few hours later my phone fell on the ground.
So, any cheap repair options and useful cases for the future?
Visit cnn.cn I've bought from them before and have no complain. You'll find the rear housing for around $10 and if your screen still responds to touch and asking as your amoled is intact then you probably just need to replace the front glass which is also cheap and around the rang of $10 - $20. However, if your amoled or digitizer is unresponsive then the whole screen assembly would cost you around $320. Good luck.

I apologize if this is in the wrong section, I didn't know whether or not it belonged in the Q&A section since it's not a problem with the actual phone.
Anyways, I have dropped my old electronics countless times and never suffered the consequence of having a cracked screen due to either having a case on or just complete luck. I dropped my GS4 yesterday (on my birthday too ) and of course...the screen ended up cracking. I had been waiting for my case to arrive and of course, it arrived when I got home later that day. The reason I'm posting this is because I would like to ask for help such as your opinions on what to do or how I could fix it in the cheapest way possible. I am a student in high school without a job so coming up with around $200-300 is something that would take months to do. Can any of you guys help or give me advice on what to do because I've never dealt with repairing or dealing with a cracked screen before. Thanks in advance!
Do you have insurance on the phone through T-Mo, or Sq. Trade?
Is the amoled cracked or just the outer glass

How would I know? Im guessing the amoled being cracked would mean the display would start to malfunction but it hasn't so I think that its only the outer glass that is cracked

Probably, just the outer glass. There are some good deals on ebay.

I was under the impression that the digitizer, display, and outer glass were glued together on this phone? Not 100% sure

If I were to buy the outer glass, would I just replace it myself? Sorry if that was a dumb question, I just want to be sure of everything.

I thought that as well which is why I didn't even think of looking on eBay because I expected all three parts to be very costly

Exactly. So you either pay a lot or have to deal with using a hairdryer to loosen glue and stuff...

Just do a claim in which case, pay the $100 deductible, get it fixed right while maintaining warranty coverage, no sense trying to fix it yourself, messing it up and loosing any coverage you currently have just to save ~50 bucks on a $650 phone ....

I went to TMobile yesterday and they directed me towards Asurion and I filed a claim which they should reply to by today. However, I did some poking around on the Asurion website and saw that the deductible was $175 for the GS4 which is pretty steep for me.
not bad considering the first google search I found for a screen (granted its for the international version) is ~270, http://www.etradesupply.com/oem-sam...nd-digitizer-assembly-with-front-housing.html
and $350 at iFixandrepair
http://www.ifixandrepair.com/sam-galaxy-s4-lcdscreen
Sorry but your cheapest route is to take the deductible hit. Yes you can possibly "defuse" the digitizer/glass/screen, but chances are it will break....take it to a local store and get a quote for the fixing, and take the best option. I would say save slightly and get it fixed via insurance, as it will likely be the cheapest, and best for the end result (IE you dont break warranty / insurance coverage by getting the repair done yourself). Just my 2 cents.
