Hey...
I need super help!!!!!
I took my friend's phone (Arc LT15a), and killed the phone...
He had 2.3.3 no rooted...
I did root with flash tool and then installed recovery.
Then I tried to flash ICS ROOM VIA the recovery.
Now the phone is in boot loop and the flashtool is not recognise the phone..
What can I do??????????
looks like you dint flash ICS kernel for ICS rom..thats y bootloop...u need to flash a custom ICS kernel or go flash ICS 4.0.4 ftf in flashtools.
did u try the correct method to make your phone recognize in flashtools? coz this step is really important for you now..u need to flash a ftf file to make your friend's phone work again..
The phone is in MTP DEVICE
This is what I see in the flashtool :
30/004/2012 10:04:55 - ERROR - Drivers need to be installed for connected device.
30/004/2012 10:04:55 - ERROR - You can find them in the drivers folder of Flashtool.
30/004/2012 10:04:55 - INFO - Device connected with USB debugging off
30/004/2012 10:04:55 - INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
(Thats After I installed the drivers...)
Is there anything that I can flash via the recovery?
Maybe someone can do full backup vie the recovery and give me the files and I'll do restore to his files??? Will that work?
as the error says you need to install drivers for your phone..do one thing..close everything and connect your phone in fastboot and flashmode both...windows will install drivers..or else you can download the drivers from here http://www.multiupload.nl/0XZV1LXRVA
install them and try again
you are stuck at kernel..so you can do any backup or restore...
This method is tested by me and it worked perfectly. With this guide you will be able to root your U9200 with b113 and b115(android 4.0 and 4.0.3).
I am not responsible for any data loss or bricked devices! You do it on your own risk!
1) Download this zip. The password is: ccc333
2) Extract the zip to your desktop.
3) Download Android SDK Tools from here and install the packages.
4) Plug your Ascend P1 to the PC.
5) Make sure that USB Debugging is checked (Settings -> Developer options -> USB debugging)!
6) Open "b113_b115-root_u9200---__[Nixing]" from your desktop.
7) Run "hwadb.exe".
8) Run "ubl.exe", click ROOT - this should root your device without restart and any problem, check if the Superuser icon has appeared.
After the device is rooted you will need to install recovery.
I used Geno's Recovery - run "Onekey_ROM_Ascendp1.exe" from the zip and the tool will install it.
From this recovery you can flash whatever you want w/o any problems! It's a little bit sad that it is in chinese but oh well...
I will attach a picture of the same recovery but in english so you can see what you are actually doing.
Good luck!
Hi.
When i try run "Onekey_ROM_Ascendp1.exe" i got stuck on reboot stage. Telephone just show Huawei Ascend. BTW Win 7 can't find driver for Blaze. I tried reboot manually with pressed power+volum up keys and recover update.zip. But recovery cant pass signature verification. :crying:

You can try this to install the recovery image onto the phone without the custom rom.
1. Download Android Control here (mirror) or here (XDA thread) and extract to a folder on your hard drive root (eg. c:\AndroidControl)
2. Download the Recovery image - recovery-new.img (the one included in Onekey) or recovery-off.img (the one that Onekey is based on)
Note: As far as I know, they are both Chinese language but based on ClockWorkMod so should be easy enough to navigate around. Edit: Though judging from the picture above then they may not be Chinese lol
3. Put whichever image you choose into the AndroidControl folder ready to be flashed over.
4. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled on your phone and then switch it off. Hold volume down and power key (I think lol) to boot into download mode (phone should boot to logo and then stop) then plug it into your PC.
5. Open a command prompt and navigate to your Android Control folder, run the following command -
fastboot flash recovery recovery-new.img
or
fastboot flash recovery recovery-off.img
depending which one you chose.
6. Once finished type - 'fastboot reboot' to reboot your phone.
7. Turn off your phone once rebooted and then hold the volume up and power keys to boot into recovery, if its in Chinese you've been successful
I am curious how you install some ROM as .zip file, when all original updates from Huawei have .app as extension.....

In my case it after step 5) it works a little bit different.
When run "Onekey_ROM_Ascendp1.exe" and stuck on reboot stage (just show Huawei Ascend), then you must install a driver for Blaze device manually, you can choose the standard "Android Adapter ADB interface" for this (it works in my case), after intalling the driver Onekey_ROM will resume and install only the recovery image and you phone is showing the Chinese recovery menu choose your "update.zip" or "gapps-signed.zip" from SD-card and it wil be installed (update.zip means your desired firmware).
It seems that the firmware in the Onekey_ROM_Ascendp1 tool will not be placed on the SD-card but in Local Storage, so it will not be installed, therefor put the "gapps-signed.zip" or "update.zip" before flashing on the SD-card so you can select it in Chinese recovery.
I only installed the gapps with original firmware B115 on the phone and all gapps are working.

Hi people,
I'm sorry for this little off topic but I don't know where to find other Huawei Ascend P1's users.
I would like to buy this device but before I would like to know if this device is going fine.
In particular way: how is the in call audio quality? Is it missing calls (like other Huawei device U8800 Pro)? How is the Network (GSM and/or UMTS-3G) quality?
Is the price balanced to the overall quality of the device? I just know that the Huawei Ascend P1 is able to record amazing video and the audio quality is really incredible, but the "phone" function, how is it?
Sorry for the off topic.
It's a great news that I can root the device, so probably at 99% I will buy it after reading your comments.
Thank you in advance,
regards,
kalo
Hey, I'm very pleased with my U9200, don't know about the others but everything works fine here. The device's default ROM was working perfect, I managed to root it and eventually changed to MIUI ROM. But yeah, the U9200 is a really good smartphone if you ask me. There are still not enough apps and tweaks for it etc.

Try Unlock Root here - Unlock Root 2.3.1 it says it can root the U9200 and might work for your firmware version.
You can also try the method for B113 and B115

The links to my sites above have links to the tools and the link to OneKey's rom is also there on the - How to Install Root and Recovery on Huawei U9200 - Ascend P1 post
I didn't mirror nixings full download without his permission, though I will if he would like me to (Although I would have to remove the password because I don't like them lol)
Hope this helps

Download Mode
Hey,
is there any trick to get into Download Mode/Fastboot?
Should I press both at the same time? When do I release them..
With Vol. Down + Power Key i don't get into Download Mode..
I just managed to get there once, but I don't remenber how I did it.
And by the way. When I press Vol.Up und Power, I get to the android recovery, stock. where I can do a wipe or apply a update from sdcard.
Pease let me known
jensema
EDIT:
Got it. Hold VOL. Down and then Plug in USB Cable.
Phone in Download Mode.
Now I need the right drivers.
Phone shows a "Blaze"
Can someone tell me which driver to use.
thanks
2.EDIT: Got it. Under Win7 , installing Hi Suite, then change Driver for "Blaze" to Android ADB Interface.
Fastboot working!

Did not work on my Wind pentaband P1, the firmware version on mine is B105.
I installed OpenSEMC CM10.1 and I swiped my sd card unintentionally when I did a factory reset to my phone. Now my phone has no OS, and instead of going to fastboot mode by volume up, my old ROM OpenSEMC replaced to be recovery mode.
Now I can do nothing with my Phone, cannot open fastboot mode. What can I do ? Pls help me :crying::crying::crying:

If you can enter TWRP, factory wipe everything and install CM10.1 again and let it boot.
I lost all my sd scard data when clicking Wipe external memory unintentionally (((((((((( :crying: Now my sdcard folder has no file at all
As it was said already, you need to reinstall usb drivers and use flashtool to flash stock firmware.
When my device was in TWRP, it appeared a unknown device on my PC. It names "Xperia-S" , USB\VID_0FCE&PID_6169. I reinstalled the drivers from Flashtool folder but it is useless

I'm not sure for TWRP but it should have an option for mounting USB. (like CWM)
So connect your phone to PC, mount USB and just copy another kernel, ROM or whatever you need, flash it and that's it.
And try with different PC, maybe with XP.
EDIT - TWRP has mount option (just check it), so just do that, if your PC can't discover XS as a disk drive, try with different PC.

Take a look at this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1849170
It will probably help you . If you can get Flashtool to recognize your phone, you are good, just flash a stock firmware
I tried many times to root the phone, unfortunately i couldn't.
Special thanks to user destroyedbeauty, he adviced my ( in PM ) step by step how to do it, but still no success.I followed the steps very careful.
When i tried to root, i didn't check USB Debugging & Unknown Sources.
Should i ?
Is there a way to install apps which require root, on the phone with no root ?
Below are the steps i tried to root the phone, adviced by the mentioned user.
I rather recommend that you install an kernel with pre-configed root access (Doomkernel / Advanced Stock kernel / XzK-kernel) by using built-in Fastboot in Flashtool. By doing this method, do this!!!:
1) Download kernel ZIP from specific kernel thread in "Xperia Z (Original) Android Development" thread section. Take anyone of these below, I also link Advanced Stock Kernel if you want complete stock Sony kernel with added init.d / root / recovery add-on / built-in!;
a) Xz-Gaming v1.0
b) XzK-Kernel v11.0
c) Doomkernel v19
d) AdvancedStockkernel
OBS!! Choice latest kernel from list in each thread for getting latest kernel that is optimized and made for your installed FW. Otherwise, problems can occur..
2) Extract boot.img from downloaded ZIP and put boot-file in Flashtool > Firmwares. After this, copy the same zip to your phone external / internal-SD card. Leave it there and continue read..
3) Turn off your phone and hold volume up, then connect phone to USB-cable. Keep an eye on LED notify lamp, see if it blinking blue - then you're connected in fastboot mode between phone and PC!
4) Open up Flashtool and push on the "Bolt-Button". Select fastboot, then go to firmware subfolder in your Flashtool folder on HDD and select extracted boot.img. Read log in flashtool, read it carefully. If everything seems to be normal, disconnect your phone and boot it up.
5) Go into recovery mode by either hammering volume up / volume down button and then choice "Install ZIP" option. Search after your ZIP file in recovery that contains boot.img and wifi-specific modules (critical for getting working WIF / Bluetooth!!).
6) After completed flashing, wipe cache and Dalvik cache (Dalvik can be found under Advanced section in recovery).
7) Reboot and voilá! Enjoy your custom kernel!
I only tried with "AdvancedStockkernel"
After step 4, the display stays black, nothing happent, no boot, no Sony logo, nothing.
I want to mention one more think : when i unlocked the bootloader 2 days ago, i followed this link :
http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/
It was successful. On the next step I was asked to write my email / imei / etc !!! Everything went ok.
After that, i tried to root and something went wrong, so i flashed whole .67 FTF in flashmode, again. Now is stock
Is the bootloader still unlocked, after i flashed .67 ftf in flashmode ? Could that be the reason i can't root the phone ?
Should i try again to unlock the bootloader, before i start again to root ?
Please help me guys.
Thank you

EDIT: included rough procedures for OEM unlocking, and updated link to recovery-verified.img (Sorry for uploading the wrong file ><)
Hi all bv9000 pro Users!
Recently I went on a journey to root this awesome rugged phone with one purspose: to remove that F*@(#&$ god awful loud annoying sound triggered by the OS when you use a camera app to take a picture + the boot startup sound (A bug blackview hasn't gotten around to fixing).
I successfully managed to port TWRP 3.1.1 from the Blackview bv8000 Pro and run it on the Blackview bv9000 Pro-f!
I've then managed to flash in Magisk to gain root access.
DISCLAIMER: I do not take responsibility for any bricked phones caused by the process, do so at your own risk (yadayadayada).
NOTE 1: Although I've got it running on the bv9000 Pro-F, this image should also work for the non-fullHD version, if someone can test this I'd be happy.
The link to the stock ROM (with the modified recovery img) can be found in the post below.
NOTE 2: No need to download anything other than what I've listed, Magisk is included in my custom recovery to circumvent the need to load the devices encrypted storage (or any other external storage) nothing stops you from mounting external usb storage.
What you'll need:
- USB Mouse (As there is no touchscreen input support, your device should have come with a usb-c otg cable so there's no problem here!)
- MediaTek SP Flash tools (I'd recommend the latest version) https://spflashtool.com/
- unlocked bootloader (You should be able to do this via the developer settings -> unlock OEM Bootloader)
EDIT: To unlock the boot loader, do the following:
1) Go to settings -> unlock OEM Bootloader (tick)
2) plug your device in (assuming you have ADB installed), use adb to access fastboot via. command prompt:
"adb reboot bootloader"
Then once the device is rebooted into fastboot mode
"fastboot oem unlock"
KEEP IN MIND THIS WILL REMOVE ANY FILES, so back them up
- I've done this with windows, but you should be able to repeat with linux no problems!
- A little patience
Pre-preparation:
First install any updates and back up your data (it's just easiest to use the google cloud backup as restoring becomes easy as pie, updating also fixes the setup wizard crashing on first setup). This is necessary because OTA updates cannot be performed with TWRP recovery, and flashing TWRP before doing OTA updates will flick the device into a recovery boot loop.
Install the SP Flash tools, and the MediaTek VCOM Drivers
(I won't link the specifics here, a quick google search should be able to help you, just note you might need to disable driver signature enforcement)
Two options for flashing:
1)
My Full Stock ROM already pre-prepared for flashing:
Patched ROM
No need for extra prep here! you should just be able to load the scatter
2)
My custom patched TWRP stock rom: recovery-verified.img
Blackiew's stock rom: stock rom
- Download the stock rom, backup the recovery-verified.img in the R06 folder, and then replace it with my custom patched TWRP stock rom (file name should be the same).
- Run "CheckSum_Gen.exe" once you replaced the file, it will generate the necessary checksum to allow SP flash tools to successfully flash recovery.
Once you've done with the pre-prep, switch off your device, take a deep breath and you're ready to go!
Steps!
1) Load up SP Flash Tools, select the android scatter file you've downloaded in the R06 folder
2) Select Download Only (I MEAN IT, FORMATTING WILL REMOVE YOUR IMEI AND RENDER THE PHONE USELESS)
3) Deselect everything but recovery (You only want to flash this)
4) Hit download
https://pasteboard.co/HkufwZZ.png
5) Hold volume up + power and plug in your phone, keep the volume up button held
6) very quickly the flash should be complete, and you should be greeted with a big ol' green tick to verify
https://pasteboard.co/HkuiTBB.png
7) Once you're done, remove your USB cable, plug in the OTG then we proceed to flash magisk
8) Hold power + volume up until you reach the bootloader, then use the menu to select recovery
9) You *should* be greeted with the TWRP recovery screen (Which is great success! )
DON'T PANIC IF YOU CANNOT USE THE TOUCH SCREEN, the kernel I've patched is missing this, seems the driver is different between touch screens, just plug in your OTG mouse to continue from here!
10) Use your mouse to first hit cancel, we don't need to decrypt the user data storage.
11) But oh no! it's all in Russian (no problem, Next step sorts that)
12) Use your mouse to navigate the menus as shown here to change to English! (or your preferred language) Change Language
13) Click install, then navigate up folder levels until you are in the root directory
14) scroll down and click on Magisk.zip, install it, allow it to install any apps as system apps (because this will then install to the system image, not the userdata)
15) reboot the phone (if it hasn't rebooted already)
16) You should be able to boot into your usual phones OS, if you don't see Magisk listed in your phone apps, just download it from here:
Magisk Manager
17) Congratulations! You should have complete root access :laugh::laugh:
Feel free to express your thanks, or list any problems you have, but keep in mind my studies take all my life, so I may not be able to help with all the problems you have
Congrats! Would it work on the BV9000 HD version?
Hi!
From what I've seen they both run the helio p25 chip
(Just a difference in RAM size) so it should.
You're more than welcome to try.
Just keep a backup of the original ROMs recovery. If something goes wrong during the boot to recovery you can easily re flash
hi i tried both optinos but they didn't work for me
I tried the first and the second options and it was showed me same error:
ERROR: STATUS INSUFFICIENT_BUFFER(0XC0010007)
I tried download only, format all and download, if i install original ROM its installing without problems!
In settings-> developer options -> OEM unlocking is enabled
can someone give me tips if I'm doing something wrong. thanks
My phone is Blackview BV9000PRO-F
Hello,
i have the blackview 9000 pro Hd (not full hd)
i first tried your prepared patched rom = not working (get erorrers in step 6)
then i chose step 2 and i was thinking to use the stock rom from the NOT full hd rom
now i get a green screen from the flashing: but after rebooting in recovery nothing happens, just normal reboot then
perhaps this is not so clair for me:
- Download the stock rom, backup the recovery-verified.img in the R06 folder, and then replace it with my custom patched TWRP stock rom (file name should be the same).
- Run "CheckSum_Gen.exe" once you replaced the file, it will generate the necessary checksum to allow SP flash tools to successfully flash recovery.
the file name you posted here " My custom patched TWRP stock rom: recovery-verified.img" is ramdisk-recovery.img
i replaced the ramdisk-recovery.img... it is not clair need to replace recovery-verified.img to?

Hi, you need to unlock the OEM bootloader, if this is still locked it will prevent the flashing of custom ROMS.
I might've missed this step, will update post as necessary.

I already did this step:
Enable developer options-> OEM unlocking is enabled
Is that enough for this MTK phone to be unlocked the bootloader ?
And tried the both options but the results are same.
I have been unlocking bootloaders on many phones but first time MTK phones. If i try with adb commands it recognize when is in the android with command adb devices and show my device but if I try reboot bootloader and check in device manager in windows its show its connected and drives are correct but if i try to show the devices, it doesn't show any device connected
Hi,
You need to install fastboot drivers once it's in bootloader mode,
then use fastboot, not adb.
"fastboot oem unlock"
Then follow instructions.
simply doing settings -> oem unlock won't unlock the bootloader, it allows you to do so later via. fastboot
Check the original post, I've added the extra instructions sorry about the confusion!
Thanks a lot. I finally succeeded to unlock the bootloader and root my phone and install the magisk.. I did without use your rom just I unlocked the bootloader and install your twrp file and after in the recovery mode i format the data and istall magic and i still have the last updated android.

Congratulations .... I need a tip,.
And, brother, thank you very much. Worked perfectly.
But first I would like to get you a tip ..
One of the main reasons I have done all this complicated process was to be able to disable the crap of the loud music that plays when the device is started.
I want complete silence at startup.
How do I disable this ****?

Hi guys, lemme apologize for disappearing, life and whatnot!
For those stuck in a TWRP boot loop, simply restoring the original recovery then restarting the phone will be enough to fix the problem.
(Actually you really don't need TWRP after the phone is rooted, maybe I should update the guide?)
Many Thanks
First off, thank you for your hard work. Loved the "**** it we have an OTG cable let's use it" haha. It works fine for me.
Second, do you happen to know if someone has ported Oreo on our bv9000 ? Or do you know of any ETA ?
Thanks again,
Cheers
Anyone tried on the BV9000 Pro? Don't think mine is 'F' OR 'Fhd'.... I must have first model brought out...
Ugh.. Windows and Drivers?!?!
I keep getting Driver not Recognized in Windows 7 Pro X86.
I installed the latest vcom/usb drivers, in legacy also. No Go.
I installed from several other sources the drivers, including the Automatic Mediatek driver install. No Go.
So if anyone has a tip for me, please let me know because once more Windows is proving itself ridiculous. I can't even get to the storage of my phone. Did something change with a Windows Update that it's not allowed anymore?
I put my BV9000 Pro in OEM Unlock and USB Debugging. I backupped everything. My phone is ready for it. It's as ready as Amy having coitus with Sheldon for the first time.
