hi xda lovers I have a damn problem in my note 8 when I connect my tablet in the usb charger (I use his usb and charger) the tablet does not charge although the battery is low the tablet is just showing a red line on the battery (means not charging) and when I reconnect the charger it starts to charge so what is the problem and another problem :- battery suc*s -_-

Cm or aosp on 4.4 bootloader? If so flash a stock based rom this is will remedy the problem until a fix is found

Hello, i need a fast answer , i had my galaxy gio working perfectly on CM7 , but after today something happened , when i came back from work and i plugged the charger for my surprise didn't work , it was like Plug in = phone battery dead and not even want to recharge ....i tried to use the official ROM (gingerbread) but i got blocked by special CWM from CM7 , now my phone its on Boot loop and the charger still not working at all need help !

But instead of downloading the S5660M Firmware download your own firmware (I think S5660 DXKT4)

did you check your charger? It might be burnt....I had a the same problem and finds out my charger got fried--- or if charger is fine then try to charge it when switched off.. And for Boot loop make sure you do factory reset and cache wipe Before and After flashing roms and always use compatible Rom.
Seems was the CM7's fault , i installed fresh rom (official - then CM7 RC 5.6 ) and now its working fine , wasan't the charger fault , its working perfectly , it was a bug on CM7 but idk how i should report it , or if someone else got it

Will try Air Kernel and report back tomorrow. Im also suspecting on port of my gn coz some time it detected when i slightly move the cable through Stick Mount but does'nt give me any notification in notification bar. I also change the OTG cable but nothing. Currently i am using AOKP mr1 build 2 with its stock kernel(lean).

Just found that its working with Xylon 18 with its stock kernel but still not detecting mouse dono why?
OTG works with any stock kernel of the GalNex. It finds MassStorageDevices fine and works great with keyboards and mice. The only issue is it doesn't mount the MassStorageDevices. If you're rooted enough to get a custom kernel you're rooted enough to take 5 seconds and mount the device yourself. Still no mounting in the stock 4.2.1 kernel though so you can only use MassStorageDevices with root.

Hello everyone! im new to this forum!!
Im having an issue with MHL
Basically i plug the MHL adaptor into my phone and it goes into a continuous reboot loop
It goes to the Google logo then reboot again
Anyone know what it might be. Incompatibale rom? kernal?
Do i need to flash something?
Is there a rom which it does work on.

It does work on Stock rom which is my brothers phone. exactly the same phone, just stock

Hi, I'm running CM10 ( 4.1.2 ) on my *Sprint* Gnex with NO, issues the MHL mirroring is 100% stable.
I personally haven't had much luck with 4.2.1 based Roms and MHL Mirroring.
I think PA 4.2.1 was the only one I had luck with other than the CM 10 4.1.2.

Ok, I bought an Aukey USB Turbo Charger for my HTC M8, I tested on my mom's Galaxy Note 4 and it charges great, it worked, but my mother Note 4 is completely stock, and my M8 is bootloader unlocked, S-ON with latest Marshmallow firmware, and running S.Team JW 7.5.0 my question is:
- The Quick Charge 2.0 feature is hardware based no matter if I have custom rom or not?
I'm asking because I don't want to know that I must be on stock firmware to have that feature activated of something like that... the QC 2.0 is working even if I have custom rom?

There is official kitkat 4.4.1. File name E98620A_00.kdz search on google or here. As for custom rom kitkat if I remember cyanogenmod had serious problem with camera that stop working after one use and you need to find a way around this problem for example app that reset camera after every use. But where to find Cyanogenmod after official servers were shoot down? I have no idea. Different roms I didn't test.

I'm using SEUX v2 ROM. Here is a link to where I found it. Someone else shared it in another ROM thread.

Overall I really like it and I have been using it for about a week now and have had virtually no issues. I paired it with Xposed and G3 Tweaksbox and it is great. To prevent the system from saying root is detected I also installed RootCloak (Xposed module) and that stopped it from saying it (if you try the ROM you will eventually know what I am referring to here.).

Please the battery of my lg optimus e980 overheats and the battery drains like.if charge fully and left on it does not sleep .it will continue.after 40 minutes i will be like wat!!!! Try flashing back to stock and then reroot it again and install a custom ROM. As for the battery, you may have gotten a cheap knockoff version. Try to get a zerolemon battery for it.
